SPOILERS FOR THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. Just another fix-it fic in the line to bring the happy ending to the most beloved characters of the sequel trilogy AKA what should have been. REYLO. BENDEMPTION.

Rey and Kylo Ren suffer from similar injuries, deep and disturbing, but they choose opposite remedies. Both have to figure out a way how to stay in control of their own lives, while the bond between them is about to snap. Angsty and heavy-headed reylo fanfic placed in between TFA and TLJ with little to no commitment to the actual movie plotlines or secondary characters :)

In the aftermath of the fall of the First Order and Emperor Palpatine, Rey struggles with the loss of Ben Solo. Unable to confide to her friends about their relationship and force bond. She ventures across the galaxy hoping to distract her broken heart with work when she once again stumbles into Ben's mind. How can this be, he is dead.

Kylo Ren and his Empress Falynn are to attend a diplomatic festive party much to both of their displeasure. Kylo Ren has been weighed down and exhausted by his duties as the Supreme Leader and can't seem to catch a break and Falynn learned her father might be a guest at the party. Will the two of them be able to get through this long night and make the most it of it?
