I'm bad at summaries, as this is my first one...but this is a small story about Squall falling in love with Fujin.

Squall has a lot on his shoulders and suffers from depression and more self-deprecating thoughts that one person should have to handle. A drunk night on a long bridge gives him the chance to end everything, but a mystery woman with honey for eyes and the voice of an angel manages to find a way to keep him from meeting a watery grave.

Over the past 2 years a lot has changed in everyone's world. Lives have been lost and memories have been made, but very few of them are good ones. The Gardens across the land all progressed through a time of upheaval, a time which left many without a place to turn or a place to call their own.

A what-if type story. Squall is made the leader of the SeeD exam squad, so Seifer doesn't fail. So Seifer never joins the sorceress. He does, however, join a sorcerer. [Eventual SxS] [Rating may or may not go up in the future]
