An AU based on an idea that Compactor and I have set in the Universe where the Troubles never existed, with Cop!Duke and Journalist!Jennifer. Once again, just a collection of prompts for now.

Not quite things that were actually cut from the story, but more prompts that were specifically for my "Find My Way Back To You" story, so I decided to keep them together.

Before there was "Ink and Petals" as a few of you know it, there was a version where Duke was the tattoo artist, and Jennifer was our florist. These take place in that version of this universe.

Jennifer, now working for Duke in the summer as a nanny, is asked to read "One Hundred Years of Solitude" by his daughter. If that wasn't strange enough, there are notes scrawled in the margin of the book, documenting the beginning, middle, and end of a relationship that had no names attached to it. Duke, however, seems to have answers about it.

This is a 30 Days OTP Challenge for Duke and Jennifer because I have a lot of feels and we don't have enough fanfics of them. Some of the ficlets are set during Haven 'verse and some of them are set on some kind of AU I could come up with. The title is "I Know Places" because I was listening to Taylor Swift while I wrote this.

Duke gets hit with a trouble, exactly at the wrong time.. a few days before his birthday which he has hated most of his life. Nathan, Audrey and a little help from Gloria try and help Duke and figure out the emotional trouble.

*QUITE HUGE SPOILERS FOR THE FINAL TWO EPISODES* His sacrifice meant everything, now his life gets remembered. Duke Crocker just wanted to go back to being a pirate.

The Troubles are gone, so Audrey and Nathan can finally spend their first, real Christmas together. Feel free to enter for pure, Christmas Naudrey fluff.

After Duke follows Audrey into the Barn to save her, they must both learn to save each other.

Stories are one of the most unifying things for people. And for a woman who's whole life is a patchwork of other people's memories, a story can help to find one of the only true things about herself. Set in Season 3, Audrey overhears Claire reading a story to a niece and hearing it brings back more memories she didn't know she had.
