This is what I thought should have happened at the end of The Farmer. The ending was good for TV but as a fan I needed more.

There were legends in haven. Stories that were passed down generation after generation. They told the tales of humans turned monsters, and the people that saved them from their terrible fate. They were our own breed of super heroes. One-shots and drabbles.

Post 3.03. Being here with him was heaven and hell wrapped into one shiny, damaged package. She needed distance to steady herself, but it didn't look as though she was going to get it tonight.

The Farmer episode tag - what happened after Duke walked away from Audrey in the Gull.

"Duke, you did the right thing." Audrey said gently, she wanted to hug him. To lend him some comfort, but she knew he wouldn't accept it. That she had lost some, or probably all of his trust. *SPOILERS for (Episode 3x03 - The Farmer)*

No one saw his heart break. It was like Nathan was the only one who mattered.

Her means were undoubtedly flawed, but that didn't make the end any less valid. It didn't make the weight any easier for him to bear, either. Spoilers for 3.03 (The Farmer)

It only takes a moment to realize that you can either get everything you ever wanted, or lose it all. Sometimes in that moment, you realize that regardless of the outcome, you will lose it all anyway. WARNING: MAJOR CHARACTER DEATH

She couldn't change what she was. An anomaly. An aberration. Someone or something's prey. But she sure wished she could. Post episode 3.02. One-shot.

Post 3x02. Audrey should have known better. In her world there were no guarantees, no promises that everyone would get a happy ending. She shouldn't have been surprised that she was no exception to that.

Spoilers for (Episode 3x02 - Stay). Duke smiled, as he felt Audrey snuggle more into his warm and safe embrace. He would let her be the one to stop the hug. Until then, he would enjoy every minute of Audrey being in his arms.
