When he exucutes the High Priestess he offers her daughter, Evangeline to live with him. Evangeline and Vlad suddenly find themselves falling for each other but can they over come every Obstacle That comes into they're path?

I couldn't stand would they did to Erin so I gave her a good ending, sort of. No deaths. He had to save her, even if that meant he lost her as long as he saved her from herself and saved her from him. Made me cry, either I'm just pathetic or I did something right. Sad, very sad.

Dark oneshot. AU from 02x06. What if the baby had actually been the Counts? After years of being a surplus child and being ignored, Vlad is cold, apathetic and in a state of decadence.
