Lengthy oneshot set in season 3, shortly after Probie. Christmas is coming, but Tim can't forget what happened and what he did. It's dragging him down... until he sees a wrapped package on his desk at work.

Jenny Shepard survived the shootout in the diner, although she has a second chance, she might be running out of time. Despite their fragile relationship, Gibbs still cares about her. When he finally confronts her, their relationship takes a surprising turn. They have to make a choice, to fight for what they had or miss their one last chance.

Tim has been very good at hiding his pain from his friends... until he screws up, and Gibbs notices something off. Gibbs has no idea how off, until Tim finally reveals what he's been hiding. Ziva's life is at a stalemate in the US. Can she get out of her funk and go for what she truly wants.
