Reverb 2017 entry based on the prompt and artwork of my fantastic partner, L0chn3ss. Maka is a hospice resident struggling to cope with the many deaths she's forced to witness. On top of that, a mysterious man with striped hair has shown up; a man that only she can see.

As a witch's apprentice and the son of a human lord, Maka and Soul's friendship is unlikely but strong. However, disaster strikes when war erupts between their people. In the final battle, Soul makes the ultimate sacrifice for Maka and is inflicted with a terrible curse on his future lives. Reeling in grief, Maka decides to use her powers to follow Soul and save him from the curse.

Something has happened to Lord Death. Who did it and for what reason? Will everyone be able to figure out and change him back?

Spirit felt immensely guilty for leaving his meister behind to fight against Asura himself. He wonders around the school, looking for his meister. Will there be a rift between weapon and meister? I do not own Soul Eater...only the plot
