'Because sometimes you don't understand someone's value until you almost lost them.' Something I thought of when I watched episode 10*2 again. I know many writers already wrote about this one, this is just my take. One part story, slightly AU, where Joey did not stay with Ross that night.

This story is set five years after the final season finished and what I think might have happened. It could possibly be rather a long story with quite a few chapters. In 1995, Joey helped out a woman who had no one else. As it turned out, the one most impacted was the one who would not actually remember the day. Oneshot, what might have been. K for a little bit of language, but mostly intended to be fluffy.

Phoebe is having cold feet about her engagement to Mike. She has always had feelings for Joey and Joey's feelings are mutual. Both of them having a hard time to confess their feelings to each other. Trying to face each other one things leads to another & all new drama for the gang to deal with. English is not my 1st language & this is my first fanfic. Hope you like it! Stay tuned!
