So I have a head canon that in season 1 Quinn meets Burt during friendship with Mercedes and Kurt after Mercedes takes her in and Burt see this scared 16 year old and after hearing she has a bad relationship with her father and takes on that role. It follows some canon but is mostly canon-divergent (clearly)
