CHAPTER THREE: THE SECRET LIFE OF CODY
Okay, so my encounter with Kari was less than perfect...But, I don't give up that easily! Next we're going to see Cody. Yes, Cody. I mean, come on! He can't possibly have anything wrong with him.
As I approached his apartment, I heard the most beautiful music playing. Slowly, I opened the door and saw Cody playing a grand piano. Dang...Where'd he learn to do that?
"No one's heart has been aching like mine...
Since you left me, I can't pass the time..."
"Cody-chan!! You're an artist!" I exclaimed.
Cody blinked and looked over at me. He blushed and put a hand behind his head.
"Well, you don't honestly think that the only thing I do is Kendo, right?"
I grinned, then ran over and hugged him.
"Oh my gosh!! Marry me!!"
"AHH!!! GIRL!!"
Cody squirmed out of my arms and ran off screaming.
"... He's afraid of girls...."
