She contends with big midlife changes and confronts how they affect her relationship with Piper., now 47.

Alex is serving additional time for her role in the murder of Aydin, as assassin who had been sent to kill her. Piper has since been released and has taken up work as a lawyer, specializing in appeal cases for marginalized criminals who have been unjustly persecuted. If only Alex would let her help...
