He gets knocked to the floor again. Huffing softly as he lays on the soft grass below him.

"Done already?" Maki asks, holding her wooden staff in hand. She seems to be just as if not a little more tired then himself.

He sits up, grabbing the wooden sword beside him before standing up. A little wobbly but they've been training for hours "I can go again."

She scoffs, as if doubting him "Yea well... I'm done." She says falling back onto the grass with a heavy sigh.

"You did it Yuta!" Panda shouts from the sidelines.

"Salmon!" Inumaki shouts supportively.

He chuckles awkwardly, having no clue what the two are talking about.

"You win." She says from the floor.

He turns to see her slightly irritated face as she stares at the sky.

"You've really improved."

He feels a sense of pride in his chest, he can't help but smile "Thanks."

She lets out a low groan as she sits up, seething as she strains to get up.

He takes her arm helping her to her feet "You alright?"

"I'm fine! My back just hurts a little." She says pulling her arm away as she reaches down to pick up her staff.

He picks it up first "Maybe we should go get cleaned up?"

She growls at him, startling him.

"Good idea Yuta." Panda says approaching the two with Inumaki.

"Damn it..." She whispers under her breath.

He hears before turning back to Panda.

"The two of you go get cleaned up and we'll tell Gojo when he comes back." Panda says with a supportive grin on his face.

"Kelp." Inumaki spoke with a thumbs up.

Yuta stared at the two confused as hell and just put his thumbs up.

"Let's just go!" She shouted pulling on Yuta's arm as she walks away pulling him along.

"Eh? Oh, okay!" He says gaining his footing as he walks beside her. He glances at her seeing a light blush on her cheeks.

After getting healed and cleaned up the two walk toward the dorms.

He glances at her, seeing that still irritated expression hidden behind her somewhat bored face.

"What?" She spoke, glancing at him before looking ahead.

"Uh, sorry it just..." he puts his arms behind his back, and thinks of the easiest way to put this without getting hit by her "Did I do something wrong?"

"No. Why?"

He hears the pause, scaring him a little "W-Well... it's just-"

"Just say it!" She stops, giving him her full attention.

He stops in front of her, turning he sighs "You seemed irritated." He says getting a chop to his forehead.

"Of course I'm irritated!" She grumbles "I lost. I lost to you."

"We we're just sparring. It doesn't matter who wins or loses."

"Look. I am surprised you've gotten better over a year, but..." she huffs glaring down before looking up "I can't afford to be left behind again. I'm not the strongest I can't just-"

"Isn't that why we've been sparring? So that we both get better? I've lost to you so many times I can't even count. I only beat you once today, it's not like I'm all that good either but I've been getting better because of you. So don't you think now we can just go all out when we spar?"

She sighs "That was cringy."

"Eh?!" He gasped before groaning "I'm still not good at talking to people..."

"Or sounding encouraging, or complimenting, and you still have that depressing look on your face."

He whines rubbing the back of his head.

"But I kinda see what you were saying." She says "Just because I lost once doesn't mean I was any less then I was before."

"Uh... right..." he mumbled.

She walks past him "Then we'll try even harder tomorrow! Better be ready Yuta."

He turned to her, seeing her sound more happy he smiles "Right." He says before catching up and walking beside her. "Uh... do I really still have that depressing look?"

"Yep."

"Sorry. I really am happier here because of you and them."

She hums "Is that right?"

He nods "Yea, I've never had friends as good as you guys."

"I bet. Considering how you were at the start. But... your a pretty good guy."

He blushed before chuckling awkwardly "Is that right?"

"Yea, and with that smile on your face, you look pretty handsome."

"Huh?" He stops recalling what she just said. "Maki what?"

She stops, groaning "I said your cute!" She turns to him with a irritated blushing face "Don't get a big head about it! And you tell anyone and your dead!"

He gulps before nodding "Yep yep yep! I... I got it." He hasn't felt this way since Rika, and while he loves Rika, he hopes she'll understand if he moves on from her to seek a new happiness.

"Stop ogling! Are you coming or what!?" She shouts waiting for him.

"R-Right! Sorry!" He says catching up to her again. "Your pretty cute too."

She groans before chopping him again "Don't compliment me just because I complimented you!"

He rubs his head "I don't get it..."

She sighs with a faint blush "Neither do i..."

So I haven't seen 0 yet. I read chapter 0 and instantly fell in love with Yuta and Maki. So I was wondering if I should make this a multiple chapter story building up to them dating, then maybe some hot sex. I'd like to hear your opinions, I know there's hardly anything here but I wanna know where you guys want me to go with this.
