Bygone Island. An island full of beauty, it had it all; villages, mountains, a vast jungle, a desert, and a beautiful canyon. And most important of all; it was home to a group of young heroes called Team Sonic. Consisting of Sonic the Hedgehog, his best friend, Miles "Tails" Prower. Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, and Sticks the Badger. These five would always find themselves defending the island from their villainous enemies which included; Doctor Eggman, T.W Barker, Charlie and Belinda, the Lightning Bolt Society, and other various enemies. They found themselves fighting these villains for the greater good of Bygone Island at least, once or twice a week. But there were times when they would end up being the ones defeated by these villains, but they would always bounce right back up. Then it happened; Tails ended up finding out that he still had family. A cousin as a matter of fact; her name was Fara. And ever since then, he and his friends were involved in quite a few adventures involving Tails' extended family. Fara had gotten married to a really nice guy named Chad Parell. Then came Clara, Chad and Fara's baby girl. All these events had taken place about a year and a half ago. And now, Sonic and Tails found themselves currently in a race against each other on their hoverboards. But they weren't alone, Fara had come along, but not to compete against them, but to act as referee for their little race. They had decided to do it in the forest. And so far, Sonic was ahead, with Tails not too far behind.
"Sonic, I would watch yourself." Fara spoke into her wrist communicator. She, just like her little cousin, wore hers on her left wrist.
Sonic immediately smirked. "Says who?"
Soon enough, he found out just what Fara meant. Tails flew right past him. Then he performed a loop–de–loop around him.
"Don't forget who invented these things, Mister Fast-Guy!" Tails yelled excitedly.
Sonic snickered right away. "My turn!"
Then he tried doing what his friend did, only for him to get smacked right into a tree face first. Fara and Tails immediately gasped, with the adult fox slightly chuckling afterwards.
"Sonic!? Are you okay there!?" Tails cried out, concerned for his best friend when he saw the hedgehog on the ground. Sonic groaned slightly, snickering as he got himself off the ground.
"I-I'm alright." Sonic said.
Just then, Fara joined up with them.
"That was the coolest thing I've ever seen in my whole life."
Tails then smiled. "Sheesh Sonic, you might wanna watch yourself in the future."
"Yeah yeah, I know." Sonic chuckled.
"So, who won the race?"
Fara immediately eyed both boys.
"I don't know; you tell me… Sonic?"
Sonic immediately frowned, then when he went to shake Tails' hand, he smiled again.
"Good one buddy."
Tails returned the handshake with a hug. "Maybe next time?"
Yeah I know, Chapter 1 is too short. But I'm getting on with it. Until then, God bless.
