AU: Hiya, fellow human beans! Very short chapter to start us off, mainly because I am not entirely convinced that I'm actually doing this and because no one will probably read it. I just thought well, there aren't many Rob/Lily fics so I'd better change that! Anyways, hope you enjoy this little titbit (I love that word!). Read at your own peril.
Lily woke up, gasping. She'd had a bad dream – another one. It wasn't fair, she thought, that she only ever had nightmares. You'd think there would be a limit. She glanced at her clock and groaned: it was already 7.30 am. She'd overslept. She pulled out her phone to text Rob and tell him that she'd be late. 'LILY'S BIRTHDAY IN 3 DAYS' flashed across the screen. The reminder cheered her up a bit. Three days. Just three days until I'm 15! She thought, doing a little internal squeal. She glanced at her clock again. Oh shit! It was 7.45 already. She was going to be extremely, unfathomably (she'd learnt that word last week and was very proud of it) late. She leapt out of bed and rushed about grabbing all manner of objects. She was ready by 8 (a new record!) and flew out the door without so much as a goodbye for her mother.
