Jason was the Robin that Tim couldn't be. Sharp, ruthless, angry... Tim didn't know how he could hate another person so badly, while also desperately seek his approval. But then, Jason died and Tim was left to pick up the pieces. Now, nearly 7 years later, Jason has returned with a mission, but he's different, angrier, and Tim isn't so sure if he wants to know this Jason at all?

Hello there!

Welcome to my very own fanfiction, The Bird and The Hood following primary characters and ship, Tim Drake x Jason Todd.

This story follows the Young Justice timeline (keyword: loosely) with references to between Seasons 1 and 2, but with a primary focus on Season 4. I want to first say that this story picks up right around Season 4 Episode 5 so spoilers if you have not watched it yet.

From that point on however, much of the story is my own with possible minimal references to subsequent episodes. Please be aware that I have taken some creative liberties with timeline that Tim joined the team, ages, adoptions (no adopted sibling relationships here!), and sexualities. Exciting enough, I don't have to pretend that our little Timmy is bisexual as it was announced as canon for DC Pride 2022 (yay!)

I am going to do my best to make it so my story's plot doesn't conflict with the upcoming YJ episodes, but with Dick's Phantom arc coming soon I'm very aware that that might just blow my plan out of the water. If (when) that becomes the case, just pretend mine is in an alternate timeline!

So, with all that said, if you would like to read a story following these two cinnamon rolls (one a tad more spicy than the other), with some good old angst, pining, found family, and slooooowwww burn enemies to lovers, then this might just be the story for you and I hope you stick around. I will be posting on here and AO3 (when grad school timeline allows). And more than anything I just hope you have fun.
