FORWARD LETTER

SALUTATIONS -

Good Day!

The purpose of this letter is to inform the reader on what to expect from this story.

RATING AND STORY PURPOSE -

First and foremost - MANGA + ANIME SPOILERS! This story starts somewhere around Chapter 295 of the Manga.

This story is mostly T but definitely has M content.

There will be no slash, smut, or ships.

Even if a few interactions suggest shipping, it is not my intention.

However, the intensity and detail to injuries, violence, medical practices, and the incorporation of personal real life experiences and emotion to these scenarios must be considered.

I'm not kidding, first chapter is very graphic and intense. In the Manga, Bakugo gets impaled in two separate places during the battle, so this story starts at the end of the battle and he is literally dying.

I just kind of wished they slowed down a bit because they basically waved it off afterwards. I guess you'll see what I mean, eventually. I think I just get fed up with media on how injuries and trauma are portrayed. Getting injured is a big deal and injuries take a long time to heal. Even if the wound is closed, it can take months or even years for tissue to heal. Sometimes injuries don't fully heal.

I am an inspiring author, but I've also been a medical worker for a few years now. I've also been personally injured, so it really irritates me when (whether a story is fantasy or not) doesn't fully grasp what it means to get injured.

So, this fanfic is going to be more of an in-depth, realistic tone of the growing relationships (friendships) between Class 1-A during this traumatic war, injuries and all.

I felt upset at how rushed the "rogue Midoriya" arc was.

So, I ended up getting some ideas, and here I am. I've adopted this project as a fun hobby.

Midoriya actually won't be featured much in this story. This story will mostly be Bakugo-centric and follow Class 1-A during their recovery from the confrontation with the Paranormal Liberation Front, how they face a war-torn country, trying to find Midoriya, and prepare for their final confrontation with Shigaraki/All For One.

In short, this story is best suited for an emotionally mature audience. There will be slice-of-life style incorporated into the plot, so the chapters have the tendency to be very long, so if you like Harry Potter, then this'll probably be your vibe as long as you can handle all of the dark intense stuff.

Also, the movies will be left out of this story since the movies are only canon to the Anime not the Manga.

The events of the Manga proceeding the Paranormal Liberation Front will be loosely followed - this story has taken a form of it's own, so things will be different from what happened in the Manga. I'm just sorta using my imagination.

One last thing - I've been confused about the character's ages because I realized Shouto is the 2nd to youngest student in the class and turns 15 on Jan 11 but Bakugo's is the oldest in the class and his birthday is on April 20th and he's already 16, so that means he's turning 17 as they are entering their 2nd year at UA. I actually got it confirmed that Bakugo is 17, which makes me feel much better and that I'm not crazy. Okay, so: Shouto is 14, everyone else is turning 15, and Bakugo turns 16 during their first year at UA. This battle happens right before they should be entering their 2nd year, so Shouto is 15, everyone else will be turning 16, and Bakugo is turning 17.

Those ages are what I'm sticking with with this story.

This story was originally called The Kacchan I Caught Frogs With, and it could very well be changed back to that.

Also, I changed my profile pic to a coffee cup because I want this to be a place where you can relax.

By the way, anything that has been written or will be written going forward was before I had any idea of what would happen in Chapter 362
