Chapter 1: How it all started

I was starting summer at camp with Annabeth like always, we took long walks through the camp, we had picnics on the strawberry fields and we kissed under the moon light.

Today Annabeth was sick so she had to stay with the Apollo kids all week.

Grover was out visiting some friends so I was pretty much alone all week.

I decided to go swimming because water makes me feel at home, so that's what I did.

While I was swimming I saw a group of girls giggling while looking in my direction.

I acted like I saw nothing but I knew they were talking about me, either way I didn't care, I had a girlfriend and I loved her.

Later that day Chiron announced that we were going to have a canoe race at the end of the week, so we had to get in pairs, he also said that we were going to have canoe classes and practice times to get ready for the race.

Everyone started to get in pairs, I of course wasn't, normally I would be with Annabeth or Grover but none of them where here.

I was looking around to see if someone didn't have a pair and I noticed one of the girls that I saw earlier that day was alone, I was such a nice dude I went towards her.

When I got to her I said

-Hi, do you have a pair?

-Uh no, why?

-Do you want to be with me?

I made a big smile and I could clearly see she was blushing.

-Sure.

Chiron told us that practice would start early in the morning so we should have a good sleep.

The next morning I got up extra early, I got ready and went to say hello to Annabeth. She said she wasn't feeling alright so I gave her some flowers and left.

I had some extra time so I went for a walk by the lake. I found the girl I was partners with so I went to her.

-Hey!

-Hi.

-So, I never got to know your name?

-My name is Bailey, I am from the Apollo cabin.

-Cool, I'm Percy, I am son of the mighty Poseidon.

-Yhea I know.

-How?

-Well everyone talks about you all the time, you're kinda famous around camp.

-Oh, okey then.

The kids started to arrive so we followed them. We had a long day of practice, when we finished we were all wet. I know I never get wet in the water because I am a son of Poseidon, but I wanted to have fun and get wet you know.

While I was drying up Bailey came up to me and we started talking, it was getting late so I told her we should go to the dining pavilion where it was warmer and we could also grab something to eat.

We were talking for a few minutes but then I looked outside and saw that the sun was coming up, that meant that we had spent the whole night talking together. I told her I had to go, you know to get dressed and all that.

After that I spent a long time thinking about it and asked myself why did I enjoy it so much, I mean it's like when I'm with Annabeth we can spend the whole night talking and we won't notice, but that can't be possible, how can I like her I'm dating Annabeth, I can't like someone else, right?

The week went by and I talked about so much things with Bailey, I know all about her, she told me how she likes cooking with her mom and going swimming!

The day of the race I was really nervous but Bailey kept saying it was gonna be alright and that we were going to win.

We indeed won, we were head to head with a couple of Ares kids but on the last seconds Bailey moved the canoe in a way that made us go way faster, and we won.

After the race we got our prices and went to celebrate. After celebrating we went to put our canoe things away, when we got there Bailey said.

-Hey wanna take out the canoe one last time?

-Sure!

I was so exited, we took out the canoe and put it in the lake. We carefully got on it but when I was standing in the canoe Bailey said.

-Hey, be careful I heard this Bailey pushes people out of canoes!

-You wouldn't dare!

-Oh I would!

We laughed and we both sat on the canoe but we moved it to much and it tipped over making both of us fall. We swam out of the lake and we both layed wet on the grass.

-Hey I thought a son of Poseidon couldn't get wet?

-I can just that I can use my powers to not get wet, it's more fun that way.

She smiled and looked at the sky. Her face lit up and her wet hair was glistening under the moonlight. I looked up and said.

-The stars look beautiful tonight, don't they?

I looked down and met her eyes, she was looking at me with the most beautiful smile. So I just continued to look at the sky.

When I looked down I noticed she was staring at my lips, I know that I'm with Annabeth but when I looked at her just couldn't take my eyes of her, then suddenly she got close to me and kissed me, I didn't pull back I actually continued kissing her, her lips were soft, wet and tasted like kiwi mango chapstick.

After we made out she looked at me and moved a little bit.

-I'm sorry we shouldn't have done this, you have a girlfriend and...

-Hey Hey, calm down it's alright, you didn't do anything.

-But..

-I said it's fine nothing will happen I'll take care of it, and also just saying you kiss good.

I smiled to make her feel better, I know that I shouldn't have done this but I couldn't just ignore it I liked her too, and Annabeth won't find out. Bailey laughed, I pulled a hair out of her face and tucked it behind her ear and said.

-It's alright.

I leaned in and kissed her, she kissed me back and we made out for a few minutes until I pulled away and said.

-Hey I think we should go back to our cabins and sleep.

-Yhea you're right, hey are you sure it's fine? Like I don't want to get in the middle of you two.

-Don't worry you're not in the middle, I'm the one who's got a problem. And I will fix it.

We both stood up and went to our cabin to sleep.
