Hange knocked on Levi's door.

"Come in."

"Hey Levi . . . '' she said nervously, poking her head into the room, "I might've done something to Eren. It's not permanent, I think."

"What happened?" Levi sighed.

"Uhh well . . . "

"Hange, what did you do?"

"Umm, I think I should show you m'kay?"

Levi got off of his bed and walked to the door.

"Levi hold on, wait no!"

He shoved past Hange and was met with the innocent gaze of a small child.

"Hange?"

"Yeah, um, that's Eren." Hange chuckled nervously.

Levi continued to stare. It was small. It was scared. Could this really be Eren?

Hange scooted her glasses up on her nose, "Well anyway Levi you said that you would be the one to watch Eren so you get to babysit until this wears off. Armin said he would help too. I'm off to tell Erwin, you two have fun. Oh and Levi? Don't kill him."

Hange walked out of the room and left Levi and Eren standing by the door staring at each other.

Eren wiped his eyes with his sleeves, "Heicho Levi?"

He was still dressed in his old shirt which was way too big at the moment. He looked so small and helpless.

Levi's gaze softened, "Come on brat. Let's get you something to eat."

Eren walked forward and grabbed Levi's hand. Levi allowed a soft smile to form on his lips. He led Eren into the kitchen and rummaged around in the cupboards. As he was looking he heard a knock on his door. Levi walked over to the door and opened it. Armin was standing there looking worried.

"Um, Good afternoon Captain, Hange said you wanted to see me?"

Levi nodded and felt Eren's tiny hands clutch his leg. He watched as Armin's eyes went from his to Eren.

Armin's gaze lit up, "Is that Eren?!"

Levi nodded, "Hange ran some experiments and this is what happened."

Armin knelt down until he was Eren's height, "Hi, I'm Armin. Do you remember me?"

Eren nodded shyly, then smiled and walked up to Armin. He hugged the blonde tightly.

"Armin!" he giggled, he then frowned and looked back at Levi, "Heicho, I'm hungry."

"Oh sorry, that's right. What would you like?"

"C-can I please have r-rice?!"

"Sure. Play with Armin while I make it."

Eren turned his gaze to Armin, "C-can we pretend you're a Titan and I'm a S-scout?"

"Um, yeah I guess."

With that Eren smiled evilly, "Die Titan!"

He picked up a pillow off of Levi's couch and started beating Armin with it. He wasn't strong enough to put much power behind it but Armin pretended to start falling.

Levi looked over, "Eren, don't play with the pillows."

"S-sorry Heicho." he looked at Armin who was now laying on the ground, "I'm s-sorry if I was mean. A-am I a bad boy?"

Armin smiled, "No, the Captain just doesn't like things to get messy."

"Oh,"

"On a more positive note, what do you want to do?" Armin asked.

The young boy's expression got darker, "I want to s-slay all the Titans. I will kill them, every last one of them. I will rip them apart l-limb by limb. I will obliterate them until there is not one more titan on this earth. That's my goal, my r-reason for living."

Levi and Armin stared at Eren then at each other, wondering if they should get him mental help before it's too late. Eren then returned to his normal self and smiled.

"H-hey Armin - Nii?"

Armin turned back around, "Yeah?"

"Could we p-play hide n' s-seek?"

"Sure!"

Levi watched the two play for about ten more minutes. He then put the rice on a plate, put some sauces on it and set it down on the table.

"Brat, come here. Lunch is ready."

Eren came running down the hall he walked up to the table and climbed into the chair. He started wolfing down the food. Levi walked into the kitchen and grabbed a napkin.

"Oi brat, you're making a mess."

"S-sorry, I'm, it's hard to use the s-spoon."

"Be more careful." Levi replied, gently wiping the child's face clean with the napkin.

"Uh Captain?"

"Yes Armin?"

"I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I thought you hated kids."

Levi stayed silent.

"Captain?"

Levi looked down at Eren who was scarfing down rice again.

"This one isn't bad."

Eren : Of course. Of course Hange would do this to me . . .

Levi : I don't think I would go soft so easily. ( in his mind, I LOVE BABY EREN!)
