Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Titanfall/Genlock. Enjoy the 800-word chapter I don't own Titanfall or Genlock, Rooster teeth, Respawn and a few others do.

The planet Geniv IV was alight with explosions and gunfire as battle cries and soldiers ripped into one another. Above them, dozens of different craft waged war with missiles and bullets and all manners of projectiles.

And then there was the titans, 20-meter-tall war mechs which waged war with an unnatural type of precision and ease. They marched in unison as the IMC deployed them to back up lines of crumbling reaper mechs.

But one thing they appeared to hate more than anything? Their sworn enemy also carried these war machines as well. There was a blur of smoke and fire before the machine slammed into the ground and slowly advanced.

"The enemy is deploying reinforcements… Tracking. You know, just because we can engage them all, doesn't mean we should." The voice stated which was greeted by a roll of the pilot's eyes.

"Noted, second?" The voice questioned before swiveling the massive predator cannon around. "You're a legion class, big guns, and armor. We're not subtle, remember? Sides, you love stuff blowing up as much as I do, Hav." The voice stated before he forced his arm forward.

The titan's arm lanced forward and smashed a reaper into scrap, sending bits and pieces rolling across the plains as the pilot forced the titan into cover. This battle was far from over, yet it hadn't seemed to begin when it came down to it.

"Which one implanted a personality chip within my chassis?" The titan questioned which was greeted by a roll of the eyes as he seemed to be bored by this. "We need to properly handle this. Gunfire and bullets are fun, but they do not solve all problems that we are sent to handle." The titan stated which garnered a chuckle from the pilot as this seemed to occur.

"Who are you and what have you done to the Havoc I'm well used to? We're supposed to be partners if you forgot." The pilot stated before he rolled his eyes and seemed to sigh as he leaned in his seat. "Scan for hostiles then. We've cleared out half of the IMC forces and I don't see much that can stop the fleet. How far to the target?" The pilot questioned before the titan seemed to pause.

The pilot pondered why there were so few IMC troops in this location. The IMC never backed down from a battle with the militia, they loved to try and rub it into their faces that they were this grand and glorious empire.

"Reinforcements have been deployed to the target location. It appears the communication was intercepted." Havoc stated which made the soldier raise his eyebrow and seemed to lean forward.

"They found out about the plan? Do they know the intel about the real plan?" He questioned before he leaned back in his seat. "We need to move then, Hav. That weapon is going to roll off the factory lines sooner or later. We need to destroy it as of the second." The pilot stated before he rolled his eyes and pondered what to do next.

There was an interesting pause between the duo as he waited for the information to be processed. The life of a pilot was fun, and horror rolled into one. One did not simply stomp around in a giant war mech and not find some type of amusement when it came down to it.

Still, there were military plans to be carried out and neither wished to dawdle. They had an operation to carry out and this didn't sit well with either of them. They had problems on their plate.

"No. Militia command has not been destroyed, Major Aiden," Havoc responded before he raised his weapon. "Now, can we please return to destroying these damned reapers before they wipe out the squad we've been left in command of?" Havoc stated to which Aiden nodded.

"Yeah, bud. Get the missiles ready and let's turn them into Swiss Cheese. We're destroying this line then I'll scout ahead. Sound good? You can't slip ahead of the building, little too tall for entrance." Aiden stated to which Havoc let out an electronic chirp.

"Remind me to shoot you later, major." Havoc said before unleashing a barrage of missiles.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that I will be updating this story slowly. I was tempted between this and Pacific Rim, but I chose this for a few reasons. I have not seen Gen Lock and this story will be following its own story. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be 900-6500 words at the time. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
