A poem in two parts detailing William's and then Julia's feelings for each other after she marries Darcy. This is a re-upload of what was previously published as two separate poems.

"So," William asked over breakfast the next morning-proud grin still firmly in place, but at least accompanied with a deep, crimson blush, "did we ever decide what was our favorite thing?" buttering his toast.

"Julia, you'd allow our daughter to play as she wished wouldn't you? I mean, if we had one that is, well…," he trailed off, looking at her nervously.

Given the lack of romance between William and Julia since the wedding this is a chance for them to start again.

A figure from Murdoch's past turns up to stalk the detective.

William goes shopping for a book.

Murdoch works out a problem on the blackboard.

William escorts Julia home.

Julia invites William to dinner.

A Pinkerton agent (Murdoch) rides the rails to Calgary in 1883 in search of two fugitives. Many familiar faces will be met during the course of this fic.

This is a Missing Scene angst fic that takes place after What Lies Buried. It's been sitting on my HD forever, and I got tired of saying "Wait - I had a bathtub scene!" etc... so am posting. This was never beta'd. I don't have time to work on fic these days. Let me know if there's a typo or major anachronism.
