Universal Union:
The Search for a New Universe
Combine Overwatch forces on Earth have scattered! Freeman and his team have almost recaptured Earth from the Universal Union's grasp after a lengthy revolution! Though the Universal Union may have lost access to Earth, they do not take it urgently, as they are a vast inter-dimensional union.
Meanwhile the Universal Union continues to search for universes that they can find, ordering their troops to scatter to find more planets, with one former Civil Protection officer named Lukas Becker, who had been put on permanent off-world relocation.
Whilst searching for a new place, he had found an alternate reality. He immediately reported to the Advisors'.
"Your Excellency, we have found another Earth similar to the one we lost" Becker stated.
"Very well, organize a reconnaissance force of no less than 150 troops with 2 gunships" one of the Advisors ordered in their language.
"Yes, Your Excellency" Becker replied before leaving to organize reconnaissance.
A portal had begun to open near the IS Academy.
10:00 AM
Ichika Orimura, pilot of the 4th-generation IS "Byakushiki" had felt a strange rumbling, Houki Shinonono had also felt this.
"Is anyone else getting a strange feeling?" Ichika asked.
Just before anyone could answer, a portal opened.
"What is that?!" Houki asked in shock.
"What is that thing?" Ichika also asked.
"All of you, stay here" Chifuyu Orimura, Ichika's older sister, ordered to everyone.
Just before Chifuyu could investigate what was going on, 37 dropships and 2 gunships exited the portal.
"Something just came out of it!" a student stated.
The dropships landed and troops started rolling out.
"Report all positions clear" Becker ordered.
"Sweeper reporting clear" each soldier replied.
"I want all of you to scout the entire area!" Becker ordered.
"Copy" each soldier once again replied.
The students had seen the troops moving out.
"This isn't good" Ichika said.
"You can say that again" Houki replied.
"I will go investigate the matter" Chifuyu said before leaving the room.
"I hope she'll be safe" a student hoped.
Chifuyu went down to the lower levels to investigate the soldiers. However, just before she could analyze the situation, a soldier noticed her.
"Weapons off safe, prep for contact" a soldier ordered.
"Copy" a soldier replied.
"Overwatch is at code 5-6" a soldier reported to Becker.
"Copy that, Ghost Payback four dash zero" Becker replied.
Immediately a gunship moved to the soldiers' position.
"I can't take them head-on, I'll have to find another way" Chifuyu thought.
Just before she planned to make her move, Ichika shouted.
"Chifuyu!"
Immediately the soldiers started firing at Ichika, with the soldiers' fortunately missing Ichika.
Chifuyu came out of cover to save Ichika.
"What are you doing?!" Chifuyu asked worriedly.
"These soldiers aren't normal, they're almost like robots" Ichika replied.
"Our IS will be useless if those alien things in the air get a hit on us" Ichika stated.
"It's best if we surrender for now" Ichika stated again.
"…Fine" Chifuyu decided.
Chifuyu and Ichika surrendered to the soldiers afterwards before being brought to Becker.
"Overwatch, bringing back 2 humans" a soldier reported in.
"Good, bring them in" Becker replied.
"Copy" the soldier replied.
Chifuyu and Ichika were then brought to Becker.
11:30 AM
"Report all positions clear" Becker ordered.
"Classroom secured with possibly 30 humans" a soldier reported.
"Oh no…" Chifuyu worriedly said.
"Don't worry Ma'am, we will treat your students with utmost respect" Becker stated.
"I-I thought all of you were robots" Ichika uttered.
"Not all of us, I'm still normal at least." Becker replied.
"I'm lieutenant Becker, whose father was a former officer of the Bundeswehr, and I am an officer of the transhuman arm of the Combine Overwatch" Becker introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Ichika Orimura, pilot of the IS 'Byakushiki', this is Chifuyu Orimura, my older sister and teacher" Ichika replied.
Whilst they were talking, an Advisor came through the portal to meet with Becker.
"Your Excellency!" Becker said shockingly before saluting.
"At ease, lieutenant" the Advisor ordered.
"What the hell is that thing?" Ichika uttered.
"He is an 'Advisor', the highest entity of the Universal Union" Becker replied.
"We have communicated with this planet's government; we do not wish to colonize them as it will result in unnecessary casualties. This planet's 'United Nations' wish to become a protectorate, and we have granted that. We will station 350,000 troops, 6000 striders and 800 gunships here on this Earth, and you will be the garrison commander, so treat the people here with respect, understood?" the Advisor asked.
"Yes, Your Excellency" Becker replied.
The Advisor then returned to the portal.
"What was that?" Chifuyu asked.
"You are now living in a protectorate of the Universal Union" Becker replied.
The students then came out of their classrooms to see a new male standing before them.
"Is that a male?" Houki asked.
"I am a male, I am Lukas Becker, now the garrison commander of this planet's protectorate!"
