With that of the way let the story begin!
A normal day...It was just another normal day in the town of Gravesfield, New Jersey. The citizens of the Town were moving about living their lives when they heard the sound of a loud motorcycle engine rolling into town. There they saw a tall man wearing a motorcycle helmet driving into the town on what look like a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 trike motorcycle.
The young man look like he was well built based on the obvious muscles through his clothes. He was wearing a dark black button-up shirt over what look like a black muscle shirt, dark blue cargo jeans tucked into black military combat boots, black nylon belt, and a tactical military watch. But the most distinctive thing about the young man was the jacket that was over his hoodie.
It look like it was a Vietnam era American GI jacket with the logo of the 223rd infantry, a skull with a snake through its eye on his shoulder.
Many wondered where the man got such a jacket as although they couldn't see his face, it was obvious from his physique that he was quite young so there was no way he could have served in the Vietnam war. So where on Earth did that young mysterious young man get such a jacket?
Meanwhile the biker ignored all the stares he was getting as he continued revving his Suzuki motorcycle and driving through town like it was no big deal, with many noticing that he seem to know the streets like the back of his hand as he seemed to be driving like he was going somewhere!
But where was anyone's guess?
A couple of minutes later the Suzuki motorcycle came to a stop in front of a house as the young man removed the motorcycle helmet covering his head. It was then that it was revealed that the young man was practically a teenager who looked like he was no older than seventeen.
He had shaggy blonde hair, a fair skin complexion, and deep blue eyes. The young man took a deep breath as he slicked his hair back and popped his neck a little as he got off his motorcycle and began making his way to the house.
"Well...its been seven years. Let's see if Luz and Camila still live here."said the young man as he knocked on the door.
"Coming..."said a voice from inside the house as the young man patiently waited outside until a middle-aged Latina woman wearing nurse scrubs open the door.
"Can I help you...Jaune?!"asked the woman known as Camila Noceda, as she recognized the young man as her daughter's childhood friend.
"Yeah... it's me, Jaune Arc."said Jaune as he didn't expect to be recognized so easily as he's changed a lot since he was ten years old.
"Where have you been? I haven't seen you since you and your mother moved away suddenly all those years ago!"said Camila, surprised to see her daughter's childhood friend alive and well as his mother wasn't the best of people.
She had seven kids with different fathers and she wasn't exactly... a person who could give a child a stable home life.
"Can I come in and explain everything?"asked Jaune, knowing that Camila probably had a lot of questions right now.
"Of course! Come on in."said Camila as she motioned for Jaune to pass her so he could come in the house.
Jaune just smiled as he walked inside.
"Wow, it hasn't changed one bit."said Jaune, noticing that the house seem to be the same as ever.
"What happened to you all those years ago?"asked Camila, as Jaune was motioned to sit down and explain.
"Well not long after me and my family moved my... mother had to go away for a long while... me and my sisters ended up in foster care, different homes and I ended up in a bad home so I ran away."said Jaune, as Camila looked at him with shock.
"YOU RAN AWAY?!"asked Camila with shock.
"Those foster parents had twelve other mouths to feed and many of them were bigger than me and meaner... so had to run away as I couldn't take the beatings or crappy food anymore."said Jaune, knowing he would probably have been killed if he had stayed in that horrible foster home.
"On my!"said Camila, who had heard some horrible stories about foster care but never thought they were true.
She knew that some people should never be foster parents but she didn't expect her daughter's childhood friend to fall through the cracks of the system.
"I lived on the streets for a few weeks, eating whatever I could find. I thought that was it for me until this old man took me under his wing as he took pity on me."said Jaune, as Camila held his hand.
"I'm so glad that you're alive, Jaune. I'm glad that this man took you in when you had nowhere else to go. What can you tell me about him?"asked Camila with interest.
"His name was Lincoln Clay. He was from New Bordeaux and apparently he served in the Vietnam war under special forces. At least that's what he would tell me about his past although I found out that he played a huge part in taking down the mob boss known as Sal Maricano."said Jaune, who did his own research on his mentor and father figure.
"Oh my!"said Camila with shock.
"But he wasn't a bad man. Just someone who had a lot of hurt inside and was angry. Anyway I'm getting off topic. So Lincoln told me in and showed me how to survive. He trained me how to survive in a harsh environment like the one he grew up in when it came to the streets or the jungle. He taught me hand to hand combat, he signed me up for a gym and I spent a lot of years working out, he also taught me how to use a bunch of firearms although I don't carry a gun since I don't have a gun permit or anything like that."said Jaune, as Camila seem to be relieved that Jaune didn't carry a gun.
"He also show me how to fight with a bunch of weapons and how to use the environment to my advantage. He tell me how to read, write, math, and even history. That man was like the father I never knew and when he passed he gave me this jacket that I wear in honor of him."said Jaune, knowing that his 223rd infantry jacket meant a lot to him.
After all, it at one point belong to the man he considered a father.
"What happened?!"asked Camila, with the hope she wasn't going to pry in too deep.
"He got sick and that was it. Some old friends from his hometown paid for his funeral and it was quite beautiful. I cried and cried by Lincoln told me I needed to move on, on his deathbed so here I am... just trying to figure out what's going to be the next chapter of my life."said Jaune, as Camila hugged him.
"I'm so sorry, Jaune. I knew your mother had her problems and she tried her best but I guess at the end of the day there's always going to be people with problems no matter how much you try to fix the world."said Camila, as a tear fell down her face.
"Don't worry. Lincoln taught me that life works in mysterious ways and no matter what I have to keep moving forward. I knew he was sick for a long time but that man is the reason I'm the person who I am today and I'm proud of who I am. Sure I may have had a rocky start to life but I'm happy with my life right now as it is. Right now I'm just trying to pick up the pieces and figure out what's the next chapter for Jaune Arc."said Jaune, looking around as if he was looking for something or someone.
"And Luz?"asked Jaune, wondering where his childhood friend was.
"She's at summer camp where she can learn to control her giant imagination. Don't get me wrong I love her creativity, it's just that times it has gone her in trouble and I'm worried one day it's going to get her in deep trouble."said Camila, remembering the incident that involved the school play auditions, art class, cheerleading practice, and most recently her book report.
"Hehehee...yeah, Luz was a bit of a rogue and that's what I loved about her when I was little and she used to cling to me."said Jaune, knowing that a young Luz loved him like an older brother.
"Well you were the closest thing she had to a sibling. So of course she stuck close to you."said Camila like it was the most obvious thing in the world, before the two of them began laughing.
"Anyway there are some letters on the table that she wrote and she appears to be enjoying summer camp. Why don't you stick by for lunch as I'm about to prepare it."said Camila as she began to make her way to the kitchen.
Jaune meanwhile didn't say nothing I see picked up some of the letters on the desk and began to read them with a smile. But that smile quickly faded as he saw that something was wrong with the letters. As although they were similar to her handwriting, these letters were not written by his childhood friend's hand!
"Um, Ms Noceda? Where was Luz the day she went to that summer camp?"asled Jaune, as the instincts that Lincoln and his friend John Donovan drilled into his head began to activate!
"She wandered to that old abandoned house that's not too far away from here. You remember the one that is said to be haunted. She ended up missing the bus for that camp that day so I drove her and we ended up getting closer."said Camila, as Jaune took a deep breath as he stood up.
"I have to go deal with something in town so I'll catch up later Ms Noceda."said Jaune, as he quickly exited the house.
"I wonder what got into him?"asked Camila, before she went back to making lunch.
Jaune on the other hand quickly made his way over to his motorcycle and grab the large military backpack with what look like a bow and some arrows, along with the katana in the back.
"That wasn't Luz's handwriting! It was similar but different! I know her handwriting anywhere and that's not it! I have to investigate!"said Jaune as he put his backpack over his shoulders and began making his way into the woods!
'I can't inform Me Noceda about any of this as it's just a theory and I could be wrong! But my gut is telling me that something is definitely wrong and that I need to do something! Luz, you have always been a reckless idiot but what did you get yourself into!' thought Jaune, who was extremely worried about his childhood friend.
Jaune just kept making his way into the woods until he reached an old abandoned house that look like it hadn't been used for ages!
"This has to be the house she was talking about!"said Jaune, deciding to use the skills Lincoln and John taught him to begin an investigation.
John Donovan used to work for the CIA and taught Jaune everything he needed to know about investigation as he taught the young man espionage, infiltration, counter surveillance, and anything else a good spy would need to know. When Jaune asked why Donovan taught him that, the CIA agent responded saying that he wanted to show him how to survive in case he ever decided to join the CIA.
"Man Kiryu would not be happy with me stepping into danger."said Jaune, remembering the man who taught him Eastern style martial arts, and the person who gave him the katana that was currently strapped to his back.
'Heehe, I wonder what my sisters would say if they found that I was trained by a ex Yakuza, a special forces soldier, and former CIA agent?' thought Jaune to himself, trying to keep himself in high spirits in case he discovered something that he was in ready for.
"Let's see... although it has been a while it's clear that the dust has been disturbed maybe a few weeks ago. Hmm...Luz look like she was tracking something with small feet? A bird? But I don't know of any birds in this area who move like this on the ground."said Jaune as he was doing his deductive skills, trying to come up with a hypothesis.
"Let's see."said Jaune as he pulled out a magnifying glass and inspected a nearby wall.
"Nothing! If Luz was here then she's not here now!"said Jaune as he punched a nearby wall with frustration.
"Where is she?!"asked Jaune, wanting to know where his childhood friend was as he was worried sick!
"Luz, from the time I've known you you always had a creative spirit but I never thought you would open disappear. Then again I haven't seen you since you were seven so I don't know the you now!" said Jaune, trying to figure out what he was going to do next.
Then much to his surprise some kind of strange doorway with what look like a giant eyeball appeared and some kind of wooden owl stepped out of it with a sac!
"What the hell?!"said Jaune, as he rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.
Sure enough he wasn't seeing anything as he opened his eyes again and sure enough the doorway was still there along with the wooden owl who appeared to have gone outside to get something.
"She wouldn't have...no, Luz would have definitely gone through this door."said Jaune as despite his better judgment he decided to go into the door and see if he could find his childhood friend.
"This place looks like some kind of magical world. And... it turns out different worlds are real! I'm sure Donovan would love to hear about this but I have more important matters to get to! Okay, find Luz and get her home!"said Jaune to himself.
No, Luz?"said Jaune, before he noticed that the when an owl had come back and soon the door is closed into a briefcase that the owl picked up and began to take away.
"Damn it. Looks like I'm not in Kansas anymore."said Jaune, as not only was he trapped in another world, but now he had to figure out a way to get him and his childhood friend back home from this strange magical World!
There you have it!
I decided to do something more original than I usually do so I would keep my readers interested! I hope you like what I have done.
Anyway in case anyone is confused Lincoln clay and John Donovan are from Mafia 3!
While Kiryu is Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series.
I based this on the Lincoln leaves New Bordeaux ending and after Yakuza 6, when Kiryu besides to fake his death in order to make sure that his adoptive daughter is never hurt by his enemies again.
Sorry to anyone if I did any spoilers.
Anyway I hope you enjoy the story and let's see where it goes from here!
