I didn't know where I was, I didn't know how I even got here! All I remember was tumbling through the current of a raging river, but after blacking out upon seeing a huge, dark figure approach me from the bank, I woke up to find myself in a rather unusual place!
The first thing I noticed upon regaining consciousness was the heavy mattress underneath my body. I was still cold and damp, but I wasn't needing to fight against the current anymore. My whole body was so tired that at first I couldn't even muster up the strength to open my eyes.
Since I was still too tired to look, I instead focused on listening for anything that could give me a clue as to where I was. The sound was faint, but I was certain I heard two voices within my hearing range. One was deep and slow, while the other was at a more audible pitch, but too fast for me to make out the words. Among the words I could make out from the fast-talker were fool, bear, and people. The other voice stuttered trying to figure out how to respond, when without warning, I let out a huge sneeze!
Alarmed, I finally managed to open up my eyes a bit, only for them to instantly widen in shock!
