Part One: Heart Past Saving
The hole is closing. There's not much time left. He must hurry. It's the only way home. His own time, his own place. But he can't move. Why can't he move? Is he injured? A quick check through his body told him that's not the reason. Suddenly, he was shoved toward the nearly closed hole. And that's when he realized. The reason he won't move. The reason he won't leave. It's because of the person who's shoving him through the narrow gap. The person he's never going to see again after he returns home. The person who belonged to a different time and place. Her.
Izuku Midoriya was at the top of his world. First, he finally reached his goal of becoming the Number One Hero. He's even the youngest to do so. Second, he officially established his own agency. It might be small right now with just him and no sidekicks, but he'll eventually get to that point. If only he didn't breathe during a simple mission. How could he have known that this normal human action of breathing could send him in an era before his own? On top of that, he's somehow Quirkless again. The absolute worst. But the worst might have potentially brought him to the best. Because one look at her face and he knew. Somehow, everything will be okay. Could even be more than okay.

IB: It actually is. Thanks to your experiences and testimonies we've made astonishing discoveries. I just had some follow-up questions.
IM: Sure. Hope I'll be able to answer them for you.
IB: Great. I know you already know this, but, rest assured, everything said in this room will be kept confidential and can only be reviewed by those with the necessary clearance. Let me now start. I remember you telling us last time about meeting a vigilante called 'Dark Angel'. Is that right?
IM: Yes. She really helped me. A lot. I wouldn't be here talking to you if it wasn't for her.
IB: We'll focus on her today. You see, we're trying to pinpoint where or when exactly in the past you, let's say, visited.
IM: Oh, okay! Well, she was a first generation quirk user so that would make it—
IB: That would make it more than a hundred years in the past! How can you be sure?
IM: She and her sisters were among the first ones in our country - were even the first ones in their prefecture - to be born with Quirks. Well, she called them Meta Abilities... Oh, and she's actually looking for them. Her sisters. They're missing. She said—
IB: Sorry, let's backtrack a little. We'll get back to her sisters later. Before that, what was her Quirk?
IM: She had the wings of a bat and—
IB: I'm sorry. Did you say bat wings?
IM: Yes and—
IB: Chiroptera.
IM: Yeah. I guess people in our time would classify it under that.
IB: First generation. Chiroptera… Would you happen to recall her real name?
IM: It was Aki.
IB: Aki?
IM: That's what she told me anyway. We never got to talk about last names.
IB: Aki... Oh my god.

IM: Dr. Busujima?
IB: Ah, yeah. Sorry… I just— Let's now go back to the sisters you mentioned earlier. She's the oldest of triplets, isn't she?
IM: How did you know—
IB: How old was she?
IM: Wait, doctor. How—
IB: Please tell me her age.
IM: One year younger than me. So, twenty.
IB: Oh my god.
IM: Doctor? Are you okay? Dr. Busujima! Wake up!

Part Two: The Perfect Present
Blasting through solid concrete like a canon, he caught their attention. All three attackers turned to him, momentarily forgetting her as she collapsed on the ground stained with her own blood. And that sight of her at the edge of death pulled the pin of the bomb that was him. He exploded, started fighting like a madman without a thought for his own safety. His rage and fear pervaded his mind. And his heart swelled with the emotion he's been holding back. With that as fuel, along with his new declaration of losing her not being an option, he ended them all.
Katsuki Bakugo was too busy for any distractions. He's in a crucial phase of his career – the climb to be the Number One Hero. Being second best just didn't sit right with him and that needed mending. So, he decided to move his agency to a better location. Higher population would mean a higher crime rate after all. Unfortunately, it also meant moving closer to the agencies of the annoying Deku and Shoto. And he was right to find them annoying. Because of them, he got tangled with some mind-boggling time traveling, this AKSY company who specializes in it, and her who is its heir. Distraction was a definite no-no in his book, but for her he might just make an exception.

IB: We definitely know how capable you are. It's not a question of your skills. We actually just needed to make sure that AKSY's goals for this project and yours are on the same page.
KB: My goal for the project is to succeed. Simple as that.
IB: And we need to know how you define success.
KB: Killing all the bad guys. Rescuing who needs rescuing. And going home with the whole team. A complete win.
IB: That's ideal, of course. I would be entirely grateful if that would be the outcome. Unfortunately, since this will be your first experience in time traveling, not everything might go according to plan. We need to know that your priority is-
KB: My priority is all of those. Nothing is less or more important. That's it.
[Silence 00:58 - 01:02]
IB: Alright. I see how adamant you are about your… principles. Thank you for coming in. We'll deliberate and announce the detailed plan and positions this week.
KB: Okay. I'm leaving.
IB: Wait!
KB: What? Do you need something else?
IB: Nothing that's related to the mission. It's just— I want to talk with you about personal matters.
KB: Then, turn the recorder off first.
IB: Of course.

Part Three: My Beloved Future
He hasn't moved or spoken and simply watched her sleep with the sound of machines that assured him she's still alive. Her breathing was thready and he could tell her heart was beating weakly while his was a steady pain of strong squeezes and releases. Even when the doctors said she won't be waking any time soon, he just wished she would open her eyes like in the numerous pictures of her in his head. He wished he could be given a chance to redeem himself from being the most dense human on earth by telling her what he truly feels even when he just understood it right now.
Shoto Todoroki was serious about all his missions. He never did things halfheartedly, leading him to rank third among all Pro Heroes because of it. And that's how he handled his most recent and highly confidential one, too. A rescue mission that was not like any other. He never had to travel through time, for one. More importantly, he never had to defend himself from the very person he was trying to save. Still, he needed to take care of the girl who definitely didn't want to be taken care of. That was his mission after all. But as he freed her from her prison and brought her back to where she belonged, he found himself a captive of hers instead. He no longer just needed to take care of her. He wanted to.

IB: I'm sorry to interrupt, but for the recording please state the names of those you were with.
ST: I was with Deku, Dynamight, Dark Angel, and—
[Phone ringing 00:41]
IB: Excuse me. Let me just take this. Could be an update about the repairs of the time machine.
ST: Sure.
[Phone ringing stopped 00:43]
IB: Hel— Wait, slow down. What are you saying? Who's gone?
[Silence 00:45 - 00:55]
ST: Hello, this is Pro Hero Shoto. Dr. Busujima dropped the phone. She seems to be unable to speak as of the moment… Okay… Which one?… All three of them?! Have you contacted Deku and Dynamight? Alright. I'll be in the launching room right after I drop this call!
