This is one that lots of people requested and after some thinking and looking at the lore and universe of Devil May Cry, I decided to give a shot. I mean Dante and its gang hanging out with the Straw Hat crew. Now I will try to combine elements from the games and the Anime, there is stuff that I like in both of them so I will try it out. So, lets start this fun ride.
At the Devil May Cry.
Dante was sleeping in his favorite chair with a slice of Pizza stuck to his face, as soon he was about to do something cool in his dream Morrison wakes him up.
''Hey, wake up dumbass, you got a business to run.'' Said Morrison.
''Sorry old man, I was up all-night working.'' Said Dante.
''don't try to lie to me boy.'' Said Morrison.
''Sure.'' Said Dante.
''We are not in a good situation. The rent will soon get up and we need the money, so get your ass out of that chair and go work.'' Said Morrison leaving.
As the old man was leaving the office, he was soon approach by some many in white.
''We are looking for a man called Dante.'' Said a marine officer.
''He is right there. '' Said Morison.
As Dante saw the man coming he tried to sneak on the back but he was soon spotted.
''Hold it right there.'' Said the officer.
''Great Marines.'' Thought Dante all annoyed. He hated Marines, they were always so noise and didn't shut up about the law.
''Excuse me, are you the bounty hunter and so called ´´Devil Hunter´´ Dante?" Asked the marine.
''Yes, who would like to know?" Asked Dante all annoyed.
''Who? The World Government would like to know. They are requiring your help to capture the infamous Straw Hat crew that caused such wreckage at the Gates of Justice a few days ago. They want you to capture them because you are man of such prestige.'' Said the officer.
''Do they have bounties?" Asked Dante.
''Yes, take a look.'' Said the officer giving the posters.
Dante looked at the posters of the Straw Hats. All of them were impressive, however he thought it was hilarious that a happy go lucky kid as this Monkey D. Luffy had a bounty over 300 million berries, that could pay the rent for a long time.
''Well so what do you think?" Asked the marine.
''Why do you think they are going to pass here?'' Asked Dante talking about the little town that they are in.
''There are rumors that they may stop to get supplies and word has it that they might go to the new world.'' Said the marine.
''Well, that's a good point. The next place after here is the Floridan Triangle and that place is a death trap.'' Said Dante while looking at the posters.
''So, what do you say? Would you accept the challenge?' Asked the marine.
Dante looked at the posters once again. He didn't care for pirates, but he imagined that he could use the money. Whatever kind power the straw Hats might have, is nothing against his weapons and powers.
''Sure.'' Said Dante.
The Devil Hunter was with some targets in mind now. In a few days he would hunt the Straw Hats and see what they are made of it.
