A hand touches a cook vat, patting it with affection. Walter finds himself where he belongs, in a meth lab, doing what he loves. Walter taps at gauges and checks temperatures. He's at peace and feels fulfilled. He taught Jesse well. All is as it should be.

Walter rests his hand against the cook vat, touching it gently. His hand relaxes, and slowly slips down, leaving bloody fingerprints on the vat.

Walter falls on the floor, his vision going black, slowly succumbing to his bullet wound.

His lifeless eyes stare up and with a satisfied look on his face.

Walter White has died.

Darkness.

Darkness is what Walter sees. He is surrounded by it. He looks around to see where he is. "Where am I? What is this place?" In the distance, Walter sees a bright light. The light gets closer and seemingly brighter until the light completely surrounds Walter.

Walter's eyes shoot open. His face layed on the cold cement. He stands up quickly and pats himself down. "Strange," Walter says "I feel alive, yet I remember dying." He checks his bullet wound only to find that it isn't there.

He looks at his surrounding area. He is in a back alleyway. Leaving the alleyway, he finds himself in front of a building labeled Junior's. There are people rushing outside the club, screaming. To avoid getting caught by the stampede, Walter runs back into the alley. Once the stampede subsided, he exited the alleyway.

He looked around, "Where am I? This isn't Albuquerque." Walter thought. Walter then looked up at the moon. "Dear God. '' The moon was broken, partially destroyed. "This doesn't make any sense. Why is the moon broken?" He decided that he would get his answers walking around the town.

Looking throughout his walk he sees people in colorful clothing, some of which are carrying a variety of weapons. Some have guns, others have swords and other melee weapons. And some of the people seem to have animal appendages.

"I need to find a computer, or a library. Someplace where I can get information." Walter thought. He walks up to a random woman. She has animal parts that seem to resemble a wolf. "Excuse me, do you know where the library is? I just arrived in town today." Says Walter.

"Oh. It's about 4 blocks down the road. However, I don't know if it is open."

"Oh, ok. Thank you."

Walter continued down the street and arrived at the library. The lights are dark inside. "Damn it!" Walter whispers loudly. He looks around, no one is around. "Well, I can go there in the morning. Right now I need to find a place to stay." He Looks around and a few buildings down the street, there is a building that looks abandoned. Walking in, he finds it empty.

"It'll do for now," Walter thinks to himself. He lays down on the cold concrete, trying to figure out what is happening as his eyes slowly close.

Light shines in from the windows hitting Walter's eyes. They blink a few times, getting accustomed to the light. Walter get's up, looks around, then heads out of the building to the library. Walter arrives at the library. As he enters, he sees 2 library assistants at the desk. One is a man and the other is a woman with antlers.

"Excuse me, Do you know where the computers are?" Walter asks.

"Yes, they are towards the back, next to non-fiction." the man says.

"Thank you." Walter makes his way to the back. On his way, he passes a girl wearing a black bow reading a book. Sitting down at an open computer, he begins to start typing in words relating to where he was from.

"So meth still exists. That's good to know. Let's see why some people have animal parts." From there he goes on learning the history of this world for hours, learning that this world is called Remnant. He also learns about the discovery of dust and its properties, The Great War, The Faunus Rights Revolution, the monsters known as Grimm, aura, and The Schnee Dust Company.

"Amazing" Walter quietly whispers. "Crystals that contain elemental powers, humans with animal abilities, and so much more."

As he continued thinking, he realized something. He has no family. No known relatives, friends, or next of kin. No one he has to care about. "This is perfect. I can make meth without having to worry about anyone, only myself. On top of that, no one knows who I am. This world will see just how far my genius will go. And soon, the entire criminal underground will know the name Heisenberg."

Walter gets up and leaves the library, when he exits, he sees that the sun is starting to set. "Huh. Guess I was in there for a while." Walter proceeds to walk around the town. Eventually he stops walking, finding himself in front of a store named From Dust till' Dawn. "How cute" Walter thinks to himself. Entering he sees tubes of different colored powder to his left, and crystals in a display case at the front counter.

As he approached the front counter, an old man who seemed to be the store clerk noticed him.

"How may I help you sir" said the store clerk.

"I'm just browsing," Walter replied. Walter walked around, and spotted a magazine rack. Passing a kid in a red cloak, he picks a random magazine and begins reading.

"'Weapons Today' huh. Guess it couldn't hurt to read." Reading through the magazine he saw several varieties of weapons. Swords, axes, guns, and melee weapons that turn into guns. "Those must be a pain to maintain. All those moving parts." Walter frowned at the thought of owning one of those weapons.

Suddenly, he hears a voice. "Get down on the ground, now." He turns around and finds a man in red and black with sunglasses pointing a gun at him. "The store is getting robbed!" Walter slowly gets down on the ground, looking for a way out of this.

CRASH

Walter looks back and sees that a goon has been sent out a window. And on that window was a young girl in a red cloak. Realizing this was his chance, he wrestled the gun from the goon and shot him several times, putting him down. The shopkeeper looked at him.

"I was never here, and you saw nothing." Walter said to the old man. He nodded in compliance. Walter exited the shop in an attempt to flee the scene.

Unfortunately, Walter is not known for his stealth. One of the goons spot him and starts running towards him with a sword in his hand. Walter pointed the gun at him and shot at him 5 times, 2 shots to his hands and 3 shots to his body. With the final shot, the goon fell to the ground. His body begins to show a shield-esque layer flickering, then breaking.

"So that's what aura looks like" Walter thought. Walter then looked at the current fight, and his mouth became agape. The girl in red was flooring the goons. Then looking to the left. He sees a man dressed in white with a bowler hat, mascara, a cane, and red hair.

"You were worth every cent. Truly, you were." the cane man said. "Well, Red and… Glasses, I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening, and as much as I'd love to stick around…" pointing his cane at the girl "I'm afraid this is where we part ways." Suddenly, the bottom of the cane opened and a projectile shot out. The girl jumped over it and the projectile hit the ground. When she landed, she looked around for the crook, finding him on a ladder. She started to run after the man until turning into a bunch of petals.

"Fascinating" Walter thought. Going back in the store, Walter checks on the older man. "You alright?" Walter asks. The man nods. Suddenly, a very audible boom is heard, shaking the building. Walter looks to where the explosion came from and finds a flying vehicle just above the roof where the man and the girl went. Walter rushes over.

When he reaches the top of the building, he sees a woman with a riding crop trying to hold the flying vehicle in place using giant ruble tentacles with a pink aura. In an attempt to free the vehicle, a person from the vehicle starts causing explosions across the roof. While this happens, the girl in red seems to be taking pot shots at the person in the machine but is unsuccessful. Now targeting the girl, she starts causing explosions under the girl but just as she is about to be hit, a pink aura develops around her and moves her out of the way. When this happens, the pink ruble tentacles holding the vehicle fall and the vehicle takes off.

It is at this point when both of them notice Walter.

"Hello"

Walter waves his hand. The girl turns to the woman. "Can I get your autograph?"

Walter White and the girl were currently sitting in an interrogation room. The girl turns towards him.

"So... what's your name?" she asks

Walter contemplated giving her his actual name, but saw no harm in it.

"Walter White. Yours?"

"Ruby Rose."

"Hm"

The lady enters with a disgruntled look on her face. "I hope that you realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly, young lady. You put yourself and others in great danger." She says.

"They started it!" Ruby replied.

"If it were up to me, you'd be sent home... With a pat on the back... And a slap on the wrist." she says as she whips her riding crop.

"And you" she turns to Walter. "You mortally wounded one of the thugs."

"I did it in self defense. Besides, he should have thought about the risks before taking the job."

The woman seemed to be angered by this statement, but calmed herself down.

"There is someone here who would like to meet both of you." As she says this, she steps out of the way, making room for a man in green holding a plate of cookies.

"Ruby Rose... You... have silver eyes."

"Uh, um..."

"So! Where did you learn to do this?" he says gesturing with his head at the tablet showing Ruby's fight in front of the store.

"S-Signal Academy."

Ozpin: They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

Ruby: Well, one teacher in particular.

"I see..."

He puts the cookies on the table in front of Ruby. She tentatively picks one up, eats it in a single bite, and then, not seeing any rebuttal, shovels the rest into her mouth.

"It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of that skill before. A dusty, old crow..."

"Thash m' ncl" Ruby says with a mouthful of cookies "Sorry. That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage before he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like— Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!"

"So I've noticed." The man in green replies. "And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?"

"Well... I want to be a Huntress."

"You want to slay monsters?"

"Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal! And then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year, and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought, Hey, I might as well make a career out of it! I mean the police are alright, but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know!"

"Do you know who I am?"

"You're Professor Ozpin. You're the headmaster at Beacon."

"Hello."

"Nice to meet you."

"You want to come to my school?"

"More than anything."

Ozpin exchanges glances with Glynda, who shows her disapproval with a "Hmmph" before he turns back to Ruby. "Well, okay." Ruby smiles, wide-eyed and open-mouthed.

"Ruby, could you leave the room. There is something that I must discuss with him."

"Okay!" Ruby says, overjoyed with being accepted into Beacon Academy. As she leaves the room, Ozpin turns his head to Walter.

"It's strange, when I was Looking for information about you, nothing came up."

"Shit" Walter thought "I have to come up with an excuse and fast." Racking his brain for information, he remembered that due to an incident where a scientist died, a massive amount of data about the country's population was lost.

"My information was lost when that scientist destroyed the CCTV Archives in Atlas."

"Oh... I see." Ozpin replied. "Well that explains why we couldn't find anything. Well then, let's start with what you name is. After all, I'm certain that you don't want me to call you sir all the time."

"My name is Walter Hartwell White. I am 52 years old. Before the archives were destroyed, I was a chemistry teacher until the school saw no use for me."

"Well, that helps a bit. but that doesn't explain how you knew how to shoot."

"I had a friend named Hank. He was a cop and he taught me how to shoot. However, in a drug bust, he was shot and killed."

"Oh... I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's fine. I've accepted it by now."

"So... you said that you used to teach chemistry? Then you were let go,. So.. what is your current occupation?"

"I don't have one. I've just been wandering for a while, staying in abandoned buildings, eating scraps, and so on."

"Ah" Ozpin replies. "Well, how would you like a job?"

Walter and the woman look surprised.

"Headmaster, surely you can't be serious."

"I am very serious Glynda. So, your response?" Ozpin says.

"Ok" Walter thinks to himself "If I accept this job, I will have food, chem- wait a minute."

"What job would I have?" Walter asks.

"You'd be teaching chemistry, just like your own job. If you provide a list of things you need for your class, we will try to acquire all the items as best we can."

At this statement, Glynda was shocked. she wanted to say something, but decided to save it after the talk."

"Ok, chemicals, a decent salary, and a decent cover. Alternatively, he could be using me for something." Walter looks up at Ozpin. "But I have no proof that he is."

"Sure." Walter answers Ozpin. "I accept your job offer."

Walter puts his hand out, gesturing for a handshake, Ozpin goes to shake his hand.

"Well then, welcome to Beacon Academy"

Walter wakes up in his bed. Since he took the deal last night, he got a living quarters to himself and this electronic device called a scroll. Going to the bathroom, he decided i was time to freshen up and make himself look more presentable. Grabbing a razor and an electric shaver, he got to work.

When he exited his room, Glynda was there waiting for him. Ozpin had told her to show him around the school.

"Good Morning" Walter said.

"I see you shaved that bush you were growing on your chin. Good. Now let's get on with the tour."

As they walked, they passed through the mess hall, Professor Port's classroom, Dr. Oobleck's classroom, the combat room, the gym, and finally, Walter's classroom.

"It used to be a forge..." Glynda said. "...but nobody ever really used it. So now, it's your classroom."

Walter looked around the room. it was spacious, had great ventilation, and was towards the back of the school. It was perfect. he couldn't ask for anything better. This place, this classroom, would be the start of his drug empire. Walter, for the first time in a while, smiled with joy and excitement.
