How to start a Dragon Academy
No one ever thought that Dragons and Vikings could get along, in fact they have been in was for 300 years but Hiccup and Blake ended the war along with their dragons Toothless and Thunder but not everything is happiness
Hiccup and Blake will face new challenges for example maintaining the peace
Hiccup landed on a sea stack where the other teens except for Blake were riding their dragons "Okay guys, best trick competition Who's up first?" Hiccup said looking at his friends
"Me!" Snotlout said riding his Monstrous Nightmare Hookfang "Actually! I was hoping-" Fishlegs said riding his Gronkle Meatlug, but he was interrupted by Snotlout "Me!"
Astrid was riding her Nadder Stromfly "Go!" Astrid said annoyed for Snotlout's behavior
"Oh, don't worry we'll go" Snotlout said "And when we go Hookfang and I are going to light the sky on FIRE!" Snotlout suddenly screamed when Hookfang began to fly
Hookfang began to fly through different sea stacks and Snotlouts helmet almost got on fire, Hookfang dived into the water and he strayed in there for a few seconds eventually getting back to the surface flying back to the sea stack with the others
"I'm alive?" Snotlout asked touching himself "I'm alive!" he cheered "I mean of course I am"
"My turn!" Fishlegs said "Ready Meatlug? Here we go!" Meatlug slowly began to fly around the sea stack where they were standing landing where they started "Yes new personal best!" Fishlegs cheered
"My turn" Ruffnut said "No, my turn" Tuffnut said, the twins shared the same dragon a Zippleback and each head had a name this were Barf and Belch
"Guys, same dragon" Hiccup remined to the twins still fighting "Oh, right" Tuffnut said
When the twins began to fly on their dragon, they started a fight to decide which side they should go, this ended in the twins spinning in their dragon "Oh no, this is awesome and scary!" Tuffnut said when they began to fall
Barf and Belch were able to grab the twins leaving them on the sea stack they started "We almost died!" Ruffnut said "Yeah, I know go again?" Tuffnut asked
"Well now it would be Blake's turn but since he's not here, is my turn now" Astrid said
"Wait, you're right Where is Blake? He doesn't miss stuff like this" Fishlegs said "He told me that he had to do something and that he would arrive when he could" Hiccup said
(With Blake)
Blake was on Gothi's house, she was the healer of Berk, Blake went to see her because he's been having random headaches recently
Gothi was checking Blake in order to see the reason of this headaches, when Gothi finished she write something on the ground
Gothi didn't talk but Gobber was able to understand her writing so he teached some of Gothi's language to Blake that way Blake could understand what Gothi was saying
When Gothi finished Blake started to read the writing "So the reason of my headaches started might be because my memory might be starting to come back?" Blake asked when he finished reading, even that Blake's left eye didn't work anymore he still was able to do normal stuff
"Thank you Gothi" Blake said with a smile "I'll go back to my house to get some rest, I really need it" Blake said rubbing his head
(Back with Hiccup and the others)
Astrid was ready to fly riding Stormfly "You might want to take notes" Astrid said before Stormfly began to fly "Okay Stormfly tail flip!" Astrid said as Stormfly's tail touched the water "Now twirl!" Astrid said making Stormly spin around
"Quick upwards spiral!" Astrid said, Stormfly continued to twirl up into the sky "Alright Stormfly!" Astrid said when she and Stormfly returned to the sea stack
"But, can you do it without the dragon?" Snotlout asked earing a punch on his shoulder from Astrid
"Looks that we got our work to cut out for us here bud" Hiccup said before he and Toothless began to fly
Toothless flew up into the sky before diving downwards and some inches before they touched the water Hiccup opened the new tail fin making them fly straight avoiding sea stacks and when thy arrived at arch Hiccup jumped from the saddle and ran across the arch landing on Toothless back again ending with a plasma blast
"They're still the best" Astrid said with a smile "Another win, good job bud" Hiccup said
(On the village)
Some time later Hiccup was walking around the plaza when he saw crazy dragons annoying the people
"Bad dragon let go my food!" a woman said fighting with a Terrible Terror for a chicken leg, "Drop it pesky dragon" suddenly another Terrible Terror appeared stealing the chicken "Dragons!" the woman yelled
Hiccup looked to other direction just to see a Nadder on the roof of a house "Get off my roof pest" the Viking owner of the house yelled
Hiccup turned around to see a Monstrous Nightmare standing on a car of apples "Let go of that, these are my apples!" a Viking yelled
Hiccup turned around for the third time and he saw a Nadder running into a woman's laundry line taking the line with it "Give back my laundry back dragon!" the woman yelled
"In coming!" someone yelled, Hiccup looked up to see some dragons flying and they began to poo all over the village, Hiccup ran to find shelter and he found one with two other Vikings using their shields as umbrellas
These were Mulch and Bucket "Hey Mulch, Hey Bucket" Hiccup said greeting them "Sorry about-" "Every day at three" Bucket said interrupting Hiccup "They're a regular a tip of the cap"
"Better in the days when it was kill or be killed" Mulch said before looking at Hiccup "Hey we've got some fish for that father of yours, Bucket give the boy the cod"
Bucket pulled out a bag where the fish was supposed to be but there was no fish leaving Bucket confused "Did I ate it already? Did I enjoy it?" Bucket asked
"Um no actually Bucket I'm afraid that the um…" Hiccup said pointing at a Terrible Terror dragging away the cod with two other Terrors following it
Later that day Stoick was with Gobber in the Storage house "Stoick" someone yelled, it was Mildew and his sheep pet Fungus
Mildew was a grumpy old man with a great hate for dragons, he also lives away from the rest of the village with his sheep
"Here's Mildew with the complaint of the day" Gobber joked "You picked a bad time Mildew, I'm in the middle of storing food the freeze is coming" Stoick said
"It's the dragons again, those aren't fit to live with civilized men" Mildew said "Neither are you Mildew, why do you think we build you house so far outside the town?" Gobber said
"Oh, very well with your jokes" Mildew said to Gobber before looking at Stoick "Meanwhile these dragons are eating your village corn, tearing people's houses into piles of rubble"
"Mildew is right" a Viking said "They even disturb an old man's rest, can't you see the bags under my eyes?" Mildew said
"He's right he's hideous" Gobber said "This are wild and unpredictable beasts!" Mildew said approaching to Bucket "They even cracked this man skull like an egg"
"Eggs? I love eggs! Scrambled, over easy, poached" Bucked said
"You need to put these dragons in cages, if you don't, they'll eat us and they'll destroy the village!" Mildew said "They don't mean any harm" Hiccup said who listened to the conversation "They're just dragons being dragons"
"Look Mildew, if there's a problem, I'll deal with it" Stoick said placing a hand on Hiccup shoulder "Oh, there's a problem Stoick and I thin I speak for the entire village when I say that you'd better do something about it" Mildew say walking away
(Hiccup's house)
Later that night Stoick, Gobber, Hiccup and Blake were on Hiccup's house discussing about the dragon problems in company of Toothless and Thunder
"We can't just let the dragons run around like they own place" Stocik said to himself "We…we could put sings!"
"Sings? For dragons?" Gobber asked "No! for the people" Stoick said proud of his idea "Sings, for Vikings we're not good readers Stoick" Gobber said
"What are the sings going to say anyway? 'please don't get in the dragon's way' or something like that?" Blake asked
"Then we'll build a huge net around the plaza" Stoick said running out of Ideas "Nets? You know they breath fire, right?" Gobber said "I know they breath fire Gobber" Stoick said annoyed "Maybe Mildew was right" Stoick said knocking a chair off
"Wait" Hiccup and Blake said at the same time "Dad, what if Blake and I deal with the dragons?" Hiccup said "You?" Stoick asked with doubts
"Who else?" Hiccup asked while Toothless approached him "I'm with Hiccup, we were able to take care of a Night Fury and a Skrill" Blake said while Thunder approached him
"If anyone can get the dragons under control we can, we're the perfect men for the job" Hiccup said scratching Toothless "You two are not man's yet" Stoick said still with doubts
"Not if you don't give us the chance to be" Hiccup and Blake said "Fair enough you'll have your chance tomorrow" Stoick said
Hiccup and Blake looked at each other with a smile on their faces and nodded, but suddenly Blake put a hand on his forehead in pain getting everyone's attention
"Blake are you okay?" Hiccup asked "Yes, I'm okay just another one of my headaches" Blake said still in pain
"What do you mean with another one of your headaches?" Gobber asked worried for his adopted son "Well recently I've been having these random headaches" Blake said removing his hand from his forehead
"I went with Gothi this morning and she said that they might be appearing because my memory will start to come back" Blake said before looking back at Hiccup "That's the reason I didn't reunite with you and the others this morning"
"So, you'll have your memories back? That's good news" Hiccup said "Well… to be honest I'm not sure if I want my memories back" Blake said looking away with a sad face "What do you mean? Don't you want to know your past?" Stoick asked
"It's just that one night I got a bad dream" Blake said looking back at them "I was fighting against an adult man and I won but… when he was on the ground, I lifted my sword and aimed at his neck" at that point a dark atmosphere took over the house and a tear appeared on Blakes right eye as he closed his eyes
"But before I attacked, I woke up" Blake continued "But what does that have to do with your memories?" Hiccup asked, Blake opened his eyes and looked at Hiccup
"The fact that it felt so real so I'm not sure if it was a nightmare or a memory" Blake said with some tears on his eyes "Don't worry Blake" Hiccup said putting a hand on Blake's shoulder "I'm sure it was a nightmare"
"Thanks Hiccup" Blake said, Thunder also put his head on Blakes hand trying to comfort him "You too Thunder" Blake said petting Thunder in the head
(The next day)
Hiccup, Blake and their dragons were walking around the plaza where the dragons started to get crazy
"Okay gang there's going to be a few changes around here" Hiccup said "Some really necessary changes" Blake added
"Get out!" someone said it was a woman trying to keep her bread safe from a Nadder "For the las time get your nose out of my bread!" she said before returning to her house still with the Nadder trying to get the bread
"Hold on I'll help you" Hiccup said, he ran up to the Nadder and placed sis hand on the Nadder's snout calming it down "Oh, right"
Suddenly some chickens appeared disturbing the Nadder who went to chase the chickens, Hiccup turned around and saw Blake trying to calm down a Gronkle but it was useless, the Gronkle quickly ran away
Then Hiccup and Blake heard a noise and looked up to see a Monstrous Nightmare and a Nadder fighting each other in front of the barn and in consequence the sheep started to run away including one on fire
"Toothless! Thunder! Stop that fight" Hiccup said "We'll take care of the sheep" Blake said, Hiccup and Blake began to chase the sheep around the village, in the middle of the chase the saw more dragons causing trouble
Hiccup and Blake were able to doge a Gronkle, then Hiccup doge a wheelbarrow with some food that a Nadder stole however since that came from Blake's blind spot he didn't doge it leaving him unconscious
In a catapult the other teens were looking at all the scene "What are they doing?" Snotlout said "I think they're helping the dragons to break stuff" Tuffnut said "Cool!" Ruffnut said
"Wow they could really use some help" Astrid said "We'll get to it" Tuffnut said "In a minute" Ruffnut said
Back in the village Hiccup was finally able to put out the fire on the sheep "Sorry about that" Hiccup said before noticing the dragons flying on top of him
"And it's three o'clock" Astrid said, Hiccup looked upwards just to see the dragon's poo "Oh no"
(Hiccup's house)
Later that night Hiccup, Blake and their dragons were on Hiccup's room "Oh, everything hurts even this" Hiccup said picking up his metal leg "Yeah, tell me about it" Blake said
"I'm not sure if my head hurts because of my headaches or because of the crash earlier" Blake said rubbing the back of this head
"Hiccup" a voice said from downstairs "Astrid?" Hiccup said, he quickly got up cleaning the dust from his clothes "I don't look to beat up do I? Hiccup asked
Blake, Toothless and Thunder made faces at Hiccup but the ones that called more the attention were Toothless and Thunder faces "Oh, great dragon pity"
Astrid went upstairs to reunite with Hiccup and Blake "So, how was your day?" Astrid asked casually "Oh, uneventful, hung around the plaza you know" Hiccup said
"Yeah, I do, we saw you two out there" Astrid said "It's hard to believe you're still standing" after Astrid said that Hiccup collapsed into his bed "I'm going to be seeing sheep in fire for the next month"
"Hiccup!" a voice said followed by heavy footsteps it was Stoick "What's going on out there? The plaza looks like a war zone!"
"I know this looks bad" Hiccup said "Really bad" Astrid whispered "But this is only phase one of my master plan"
"Oh, so you have a plan?" Stoick asked "Of course I do it's very…complex with lots of drawings yeah is pretty wild" Hiccup said trying to convince his dad, but it was more like he was trying to convince himself
"This had better be real, because Mildew has stirred the whole island, if you don't get these dragons under control, they'll be calling for their heads" Stoick said walking away
"Don't worry bud, your head is not going anywhere" Hiccup said "You too Thunder, your head will stay in its place" Blake said
"You do realize there are like a bazillion dragons out there and only two of you?" Astrid said "I guess you're right" Blake sighed "I hope you do have a plan" Astrid said
(The Arena)
The next they Hiccup and Blake reunite the teens and their dragons on the arena "That's your plan? Train dragons" Ruffnut said "Here where we used to kill them?" Tuffnut said
"Right because we don't do that anymore" Hiccup said placing a basket in front of Toothless "That's why it's available" Blake ended
"Actually, the dragons seem a little nervous" Astrid said petting Stormfly "That's because they're very sensitive, specially Meatlug she lost a cousin here we try not to talk about it" Fishlegs said whispering in the final part
"It's amazing that your dad gave you the arena" Astrid said approaching Hiccup and Blake "Yeah, it totally would be…if he did but he didn't" Hiccup said
"Wait, so we're going behind your father's back?" Astrid asked "We are running quickly out of options Astrid" Blake said
"Alright everybody, here's the thing" Hiccup said to get everyone's attention "The dragons are out of control, we want them to live in our world without destroying it" "And they have been blowing things up and we've to do something about it" Blake said
"Got it, help dragons blow things up we can totally so that" Tuffnut said "Tuff, that's not what I-" Blake said before getting interrupted by Ruffnut
"Here's how we're going to do it, first we make them really, really angry" Ruffnut said "No problem, we anger everybody" Tuffnut said
"Guys this is serious, Mildew wants our dragons caged I don't know about you but that's not okay with me" Hiccup said "You're right, she's sorry" Tuffnut said pointing at Ruffnut
"Okay next problem, dragons are eating everything at sight" Hiccup said while he and Blake grabbed a bread from the basket making Toothless and Thunder look at them wanting to eat the bread
"Now, when a dragon grabs something it's not supposed to have" Hiccup said when Toothless grabbed the bread "You can make them drop it by giving it a scratch just below the chin" Hiccup gave Toothless a scratch below the chin making him drop the bread enjoying the scratch
"It works with almost every dragon" Blake said scratching Thunder as well
"No, no, no" Snotlout said getting close to Hiccup and Blake "That might work for Toothless and Thunder" Snotlout said taking the bread from Hiccup's hand
"But Hookfang and me we do things a little different" Snotlout said throwing the bread at Hookfang "When I want this big boy to do something I got right up to his face and say DROP THAT THING RIGHT NOW YOU HEAR ME?!"
Hookfang immediately dropped the bread but instead he grabbed Snotlout with his jaws "See? He dropped it" Snotlout said but his voice was muffled
"Should we help him?" Tuffnut asked "Yeah, in a minute" Astrid said "let's concentrate guys we got a lot of training to do" Blake said "Together we can keep these dragons under control
Everyone went to get ready leaving Snotlout on Hookfang's jaws "Uh, can someone do the scratchy thing? Hello? You guys still there?" Snotlout asked
(The Village)
The teens were all walking around the plaza but there were no dragons "Huh, no dragons" Fishlegs said "That was easy" Ruffnut said
"Lunch?" Snotlout asked "That's weird" Hiccup said "Something is definitely wrong" Blake said, suddenly an explosion happened getting everyone's attention "Something tells me the dragons are that way" Astrid said
They all ran up where the explosion was heard and they found the dragons eating everything in the storage room "Stormfly?" "Hookfang?" Astrid and Snotlout called for their dragons making them take their heads off some baskets with fish
"They've eaten everything!" Stoick said "We got nothing left for the freeze" "I warned you Stoick, but you listen to me? No, you put a bunch of teenagers in charge" Mildew said pointing at the teens "And look what the dragons have done"
"Dad, I swear Blake and I can fix thi-" Hiccup began "Enough Hiccup how can I trust you two to control all dragons when you can even control your own? Stoick said
Hiccup and Blake looked at their dragons and saw them eating the rest of the fish "Oh, Toothless" Hiccup said "Thunder, why?" Blake said facepalming
"Bucket, Mulch get to the boats we need another catch" Stoick said entering the destroyed storage house
"It's too late Stoick, it took us six months to catch all of that fish" Mulch said "Don't tell me is too late we got to try" Stoick said "Dad please, you got to listen to me" Hiccup said entering with Blake "We know the dragons and-" Blake said
"Not now, I got a village to feed" Stoick said interrupting Blake "The dragons caused enough damage, by tonight I want every one of them caged, understand?"
"You can't just cage these dragons you have to send them away now!" Mildew said Stoick only sighed when other Vikings started to yell in agreement with Mildew
"You are right Mildew, we'll cage them tonight and in the morning Hiccup and Blake will sent them off the island" Stoick said before looking at Hiccup and Blake "I'm sorry"
Hiccup and Blake were only able to look at each other with sad faces
(The Great Hall)
The teens were on the Great Hall eating dinner, all of them were upset because they were going to say goodbye to their dragons, the only dragons with them at the moment were Toothless and Thunder
"I can't believe we just have to send them away" Snotlout said with a sad voice "Things are just going to be weird, I got used to Stormly's face being the first thing I see every morning" Astrid said making an image of Stormfly on her soup
"Every night before I went to sleep Meatlug would lick my feet, who's going to do it now?" Fishlegs said
"I volunteer Tuffnut" Ruffnut said "Whatever, what time should I be there?" Tuffnut asked "Come un guys" Astrid said standing up "Let's get this over with" "The worst day of my life" Fishlegs said as they all leave "We're never see them again"
The only ones felt on the Great Hall were Hiccup, Blake and their dragons "We got to do something" Blake said "You're right, we can't let that happened" Hiccup said
"Toothless is one of the best friends I've ever had" Hiccup said "I can't imagine a Berk with no dragons" Blake said
"Toothless, Thunder, I'll miss you so much" Mildew said approaching Hiccup and Blake with fake sadness "You know what your mistake was? Thinking that dragons could be trained, a dragon is going to do what a dragon is going to do! It's their nature and nature always win"
Mildew walked away leaving Hiccup and Blake, suddenly the fire on the center blew out but Toothless shot a plasma blast that created a new fire "Oh, thank you Toothless" a woman said
After that an idea showed up on Hiccup's mind "Mildew might be right" Hiccup said leaving Blake confused "Why would you-" Blake suddenly stop when he realized what Hiccup was saying "Oh, now I get it"
Then Hiccup and Blake with their dragons ran out of the Great Hall
(The Arena)
"I'm so sorry Stormfly now go" Astrid said pointing at the arena making the dragons enter the arena slowly
"It feels like big sharp teeth are ripping this thing in my chest" Snotlout said putting a hand on his chest "That's how it feels like when your heart is braking" Astrid said "I don't have a heart, I'm not a girl" Snotlout said
When they were closing the arena "Don't close it" two voices said the voices were Hiccup and Blake arriving on their dragons "We're not locking them up" Hiccup said jumping up Toothless
"What happened?" Astrid asked "Did you manage to change your fathers mind or…Are going behind his back again?"
"The second option actually, but we got a plan" Blake said "Oh, really?" Astrid asked crossing her arms
"Look, the dragons are going to do what they're going to do, it's their nature we just need to learn how to use it" Hiccup said
(Fishing boat on the ocean)
On the morning Bucket and Mulch were on their boat trying to catch some fish
"It's empty again" Mulch said "Did I ate them already? Did I enjoy it? Am I being to negative?" Bucket asked
Suddenly Hiccup and Snotlout appeared riding their dragons "Snotlout scare up some fish" Hiccup said before flying away
Snotlout took deep breath as Hookfang dived into the ocean chasing some fish scaring them and making them enter in the Fishing net "Hey thanks dragons!" Mulch said
(Mildew's house)
Blake, Astrid and Fishlegs were on Mildew's house on the mountains "Afternoon Mildew" Astrid greeted before Stomfly dropped herself on the dirt creating marks with her tail
"Get ready for the fertilizer" Blake said "Fertilizer?" Mildew asked confused then he turned around to see Fishlegs leading a group of dragons flying over the field "Okay, Meatlug let a rip" Fishlegs said
Then all of the dragons began to poo on the field "You better be grate full Mildew we save you from some work" Blake said before flying away in Thunder
(The Forest)
The Twins were chasing some hogs than ran away from their barn, when the twins lead the hogs out of the forest Hiccup and Blake flew over with their dragons
Toothless and Thunder fire at the hogs making them run back at the barn for safety once they finished the teens returned for the village
"That was awesome!" Fishlegs cheered "How do you know that was going to work?" Astrid asked when they landed
"Because is the dragon's nature" Blake said "We just need to learn to work with them and not against them" Hiccup said
"There they are Stoick" Mildew said appearing with Stoick "Those dragons don't look like they're in cages to me"
"No" Stoick said looking at Hiccup and Blake "This is not what I asked for" Hiccup and Blake knew they were in trouble
(The Arena)
The teens were at the center of the arena and some Vikings were above of it looking at them, then Stoick entered the arena with Gobber
"Oh no, what's Stoick going to do to us?" Fishlegs asked in fear "I'm too pretty for jail" Ruffnut said "Where'd you heard that from? Tuffnut asked
"You all disobey my orders, and there will be consequences" Stoick said "I told you never listen to me" Astrid whispered to Hiccup
"Dad" Hiccup said stepping forward "If anyone's going to get in trouble it should be me" "I was also part of this" Blake said standing next to Hiccup
"No, you all have a hand in this" Stoick said
Mildew was seeing everything with a smile with his sheep "Oh, this is going to be great Fungus it's about to get ugly"
"You took over this place without asking, you release the dragons against my wishes, there are going to be a few changes round here, that's why-" Stoick said "You're getting a dragon academy!" Gobber announced making everyone gasp
"GOBBER!" Stoick yelled "I wanted to tell them" "I'm sorry you're right" Gobber apologized "Go ahed"
"Well you told the most of it" Stoick said a little annoyed "You can tell him the part about how proud you are from him" Gobber said
"Gobber!" Stoick repeated before looking back at the teens "Hiccup, well what he said you made me all proud, this academy is for you" Stoick said opening the gates of the arena realizing the dragons
Everyone run up to their dragons and hug them like they never hug them before, Mildew however was not happy about this "I'll get those dragons" Mildew said before leaving
"Now all you have to do is train them" Stoick said looking at Hiccup and Blake
"No problem" Blake said "After all we got them" Hiccup said pointing at the dragons, Astrid cleared her throat "And them too" Hiccup said
(Night time)
Hiccup was in his room making a drawing of him and his friends with their dragons, he looked up at Toothless who jumped into a rock platform that he uses as bed, Toothless used his fire to warm up the rock and he went to sleep
Blake was in his room scratching Thunder who was purring gently with the scratch and when Blake scratched the special spot Thunder fall asleep in seconds
Fishlegs was sleeping on his bed giggling because Meatlug was licking his feet
The next morning Astrid woke up and saw Stormfly's head on her window making Astrid smile
On the arena the new symbol of the dragon academy it was a Night Fury with a part of its tail red and a Skrill that looked like it was roaring
"The Berk Dragon Academy I like the sound of that" Astrid said
Hiccup and Blake looked at each other and hi-fived "I didn't expect this to happened" Blake said "Me neither but, it look that we got a lot of work to do"
A/n: And here it is the fist episode of the sequel for A new boy in berk, it took me more time than the originally expected so updates might be slower but don't worry if there's a long time with no updates because I won't discontinue this story
