This is my first story.

Chapter 1. The letter

The wind blows by my window. I can hear the leaves off the tree russling by. Then my alarm goes off*

I huff and sigh as I realise my boring life will begin again. Like every week, we start on a monday morning at 5.15am*

I take the biggest stretch and 'yawn' as I get out my bed rub my eyes and switch on my lights*

I walk over to my dresser sit down on my stool and begin to brush out my hair. Tied my hair in a messy bun and shove my dressing gown on*

Mum- 'Good morning darling how did you sleep'

Y/N- 'It was alright, I had a great dream though.'

Mum- 'Yeah, what was it about?'

Y/N- 'I had gotten into Hogwarts, I was so excited and then my alarm went off. So I realised that it was all a dream'

Mum- 'Well Y/N I have some good news for you. *Mum hands you a letter with the Hogwarts Signature on it* Open it up and see what it says darling'

Y/N- 'Mum is it just letter written by you to make me feel better about not being special enough to get into Hogwarts' *I begin to open up the letter and see Professer McGonagall's Hand writing on the letter. This is definitely real*

Y/N- *I begin to read the letter and realise that I have in fact been accepted into Hogwarts*

'Dear Miss YLN,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Students shall be required to report to the Chamber of Reception upon arrival the dates for which shall be duly advised.

Please ensure that the utmost attention be made to the list of requirements attached herewith.

We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the new generation of Hogwarts heritage.

1 cauldron (Fewter standard size 2)

1 set of glass or crystal phials

I'm so shock at what I was reading I hadn't even noticed i was crying with joy, I'm really going to hogwarts*

Y/N- 'Mum I'm going to hogwarts!!!, I cant believe it. But I have non of the clothes and books and non of the equipment needed. What are we going to do?'

Mum-'Darling it's alright McGonagall already told me you were accepted into hogwarts. Our mail was running late, so when she phoned me about it I got all the things you would need already. I just wanted to wait till we got the letter through too tell you'

Y/N- 'Aawww mum thanks. I love you so much'
