Hello everyone, nice to meet you. This is my first time writing a fanfic and I hope to get some good feedback from you all. This chapter doesn't really show much about the DxD universe, as I am gonna take it pretty slow at the start for this story.
There is currently no pairing decided just yet, I will be taking suggestions with reasons so feel free to send your opinion. But I will let you all know a few things.
First off, harems for Izuku are completely off the table, I don't think that it would fit his character without making him an OC with Izuku's name.
Second, he is not going to be overpowered in this story, he's strong yes, but I am not going to allow him to curb stomp every being he comes across(That's just not who Midoriya Izuku is).
Third, I will be basing most of Izuku's personality, skills, and intellect from the anime and manga, meaning no 'Mr. Steal Yo Chick' 'Smooth as butter' Izuku(It just doesn't make sense), No pulling skills out of his ass like becoming a cooking god(hell he didn't even know how to work a microwave), and no 1000 IQ genius prodigy Izuku(he's smart yes, but not that smart, he placed fourth in Midterms and his interests and specialties are based on quirk analysis)
Lastly, I will not be bashing on anyone so feel free to cheer, unless you're a fan of Mineta, because while I won't bash him, I will throw deserving jabs.

The sky was crying.
The streets were quiet, except for the storm that seemed to follow the chaos, the city was lawless, unhinged, all because he couldn't fulfill his duty properly.
People needed to be saved, everyone was in danger, citizens, heroes, his friends, his family.
It was all up to him to save them, no one else, his responsibility, it was what his power was created to do.
No one had to lose their quirk to this, or their life. This chaos, it thrives off of destroying what he swore to protect.
He reminds himself of the era his idol had brought with his time.
He reminds himself of the time when the symbol of peace and the symbol of evil clashed in a devastating showdown, destruction of the likes he had never seen before. But in the end peace had claimed victory.
He reminds himself how quickly that peace was destroyed.
Now it was up to him to step up to the mantle and save everyone with a smile.
After the trap set in Haibori forest, Deku couldn't rest, not while villains are still out there wreaking havoc. Not while he is still out there, scheming, preparing. "What are you planning All for One?" he muttered, dull emerald eyes narrowing, deciding where to patrol while his mind was running overtime 'Where are you?'
As he breathed in deeply, he squatted down, tensing his leg muscles, and launched off the ground propelling far and high into the raining sky looking for villain activity to draw All for One out. 'He can't be given any more time to prepare,' Deku thought to himself, 'Not when he's already been ten steps ahead of everyone.'
'You're Next' that same line being replayed inside of his head. The same line that All Might had passed on when he used up the last embers of One for All that dwelled within to fight him. The same line that he used to mock him before blowing up that mansion.
Not anymore, this game that All for One is playing ends soon, that Deku swears. 'I won't let him lay a finger on anyone else anymore…' His thoughts go to the innocent civilians in the cities, his friends at UA, and his mom, '...So people don't have to live in fear like this.' Throughout his task, he's seen so many in danger, in need of saving from the sheer amount of anarchy caused by one man. As he patrols the city he passes looted stores, broken cars, debris, and collapsed buildings all over. Streets that used to be filled with vibrance and life now reduced to ashes and rubble.
In his mind, Deku feels responsible for all of this. "I'll carry this burden" he promised, looking at the broken city beneath him. After all, it was what his quirk was created for. "So I…" He hears a villain causing destruction. "can smile with everyone once again." He shoots off.

All Might POV
"All Might, you don't have to follow me around anymore" It stung. "I'm fine on my own now" Regardless of the hero he had been and the battles he had fought, the inability to do anything to help young Midoriya hurts more than any wound ever could.
His successor isn't saying that because he sees him as dead weight. No, "Your kind heart doesn't want me to get involved in your mission as an inheritor of One for All" muttered All Might as he lay watching young Midoriya fly away from the mud. 'I know what you're going through' he thought. 'I know because I lived it.'
The weight of responsibility resting on the young man's back, All Might was there once, facing the antithesis of himself. He has something to tell him. He needs to tell him. But he doesn't know if he can before it's too late. 'Please, someone, anyone, let young Midoriya know…' A hum in his chest resonates, and he can only hope it is what he thinks it is, "That is all I ask, thank you."
As he picks himself up to walk to his car, he gets a call from headquarters. "Yes, All Might speaking" he answered.
On the other side you can hear Hawks in the background with Endeavor speaking frantically, "All Might, where is Deku? He hasn't contacted us for a while now and we are just starting to get alerts on our sensors of mass teleporting."
"All for One," All Might grimaced, "It has to be, the only other known mass teleporter is Kurogiri, who we have imprisoned, as for young Midoriya, he had left me to patrol around ten minutes ago."
"We need to get in contact with him now, we barely have any idea what All for One's plan is, and for all we know, what we have could have been fed as false information." sighed Hawks, his normally laid-back exterior falling apart.
'Fed false information.' Gears turning in his head, 'All for One's plan' All Might's brow was furrowing, slowly putting together what the symbol of Evil was going for. Pieces moving in his head like a puzzle coming to completion. "This was his plan the whole time" he concluded, reaching an epiphany.
""What"" Endeavor and Hawks asked, both confused on the uptake.
"All for One, he never gave any real information to his 'agents', they were all fodder, to keep us believing they had any knowledge, all to wear down young Midoriya." All Might explained hurriedly, getting into his car.
Eyes widening, the other two heroes were beginning to understand, "And once he's run ragged and alone-" Hawks started already moving.
"He would swoop in and defeat young Midoriya at his weakest, both physically and mentally," All Might finished remorsefully. It was definitely a tactic fitting for All for One, one similarly used on him when he was younger, albeit no way near as elaborate.
"That would mean the current alerts and the lack of communication are due to All for One making his move." The flame hero grunted, preparing to leave to assist.
"Me and Endeavor have already called for help and will be heading over to assist, you alert Nezu and tell him your findings." Hawks confirmed.
"Understood, will do and good luck" and with that All Might ended the call, speeding through the destroyed city like a madman to get to headquarters while entering the information to call Nezu. "Young Midoriya please hang on, help is on the way."
…
Deku POV - a few minutes earlier
After quickly dispatching a low-time thug, and evacuating the citizens from destroyed buildings, Deku prepared to launch off again, but before he did, he felt danger sense go off, the quirk wielded by the fourth user, Hikage Shinomori, allowing him to detect nearby threats. While not uncommon, he's never felt it more intense than he has now. Wincing in pain, he looks around, spotting a lone man in a suit with a sinister-looking mask looking down on him suspended in the air. "All for One!" Deku spat venomously, One for All coming to life in a green lightning fury with black whips emerging from him as if from some eldritch abomination. His costume was worn down with claw-like gauntlets and boots. Covered in scars, mud, and blood, those that see him would agree on one thing.
"Well you don't look like a hero now, do you?" All for One laughed out maliciously as if relishing the sight of a One for All user in a state like this brings him pure joy. "By my word, if one were to compare us right now they'd say you look more like a villain than I do" he pondered, then his voice turning serious and bloodlust filling the air, "I can't have that now can I?" Spreading his arms wide, sludge-like portals started forming around him, nomus and villains alike pouring out like an anthill being prodded, with his archnemesis he promised to save, Shigaraki Tomura appearing next to All for One suspended mid-air.
Undeterred, Deku faces forward, determination filled within his glowing emerald orbs. "It ends today All for One" he proclaimed, clenching his fists and preparing to launch forward into the horde of villains, "Everything you've taken, everything you've destroyed, I'm taking it all back today."
"Is that so young Midoriya?" All for One mused, making Deku grit his teeth. "Tired, wounded, and alone, it's almost pathetic to see how far One for All has fallen. The heroes are miles away now, and they'll never get here in time, not with all the cavalry they'll have to fight on the way."
Eyes widening in realization, Deku launched himself forward in hopes to stop the future danger before it came to pass. Unfortunately, the villains were given their cue and immediately spread out in different directions. "No!" Deku shouted, analyzing the paths of which they took. In hopes of stopping them from causing terror, the 9th wielder of One for All dashed to the nearest group in hopes of restraining them but was interrupted by a powerful familiar blast of air, knocking him back into an abandoned car, denting it.
"Tut tut, you can't have all the fun" the symbol of evil chastised, his voice betraying the amusement he is feeling from having his plan come together. "With One for All within my reach, there's no way we can just let you go play the hero." As if on a cue, Shigaraki Tomura descended to the ground with a manic smile as if to indicate what he is about to do.
Getting up from the ground, Deku sees Shigaraki's hands slowly move to the ground, realizing what he is going to do. 'No, not again,' his thoughts flash to the complete disintegration of Jaku City and all the people who died because of it. Because he couldn't stop him. "One for All 50%..." The young hero launches himself forward towards Shigaraki in a burst of speed. "St. Louis Smash Air Force!" Deku arches his leg back and performs a strong vertical roundhouse kick, firing a large blast of compressed air in Shigaraki's direction.
Forgoing the disintegration tactic to dodge, Shigaraki leaped to the side into the air grinning maliciously using stolen quirks to propel himself towards Deku. "Midoriya Izuku!" the All for One user exclaimed. "I'll make sure to put One for All to better use…" Stretching his arms out to meet Deku's head "To destroy society and rebuild it in my image!" Only to be stopped by several strands of black whips which seemed to stem from different parts of Deku's body.
"Shigaraki Tomura, no, Shimura Tenko," Deku started, confusion and anger replacing the manic expression that seemed to be glued to Shigaraki's face. Seeing the One for All user's sad emerald eyes that were betraying his thoughts made him snarl. "I'll save you, I promise I will." Yet despite that sadness, determination to save him welled from the depths of his heart.
"Well isn't this heartwarming" danger sense pinging, Deku released his hold on Shigaraki and with a burst speed, dodged downward back to the ground from red and black tendrils derived from All for One's fingertips. "You think he wants to be saved?" He inquired incredulously, "No Tomura is my successor, like a baton, my dream is passed on to him, that is why I will fulfill my last task as his mentor to help him obtain One for All…" He takes out a small capsule and stabs himself with it "...Regardless of the price" he finished.
A familiar golden aura started to emanate from the centuries-old monster, "What was that? What did you do All for One?" Deku yelled, eyes narrowing, trying to figure out what he had just taken. 'Trigger? Some kind of quirk-enhancing drug?' he internally figured. 'No he's never taken any of the sort, so it has to be something else.' Looking for any clues to indicate the drug's effect, he notices his aura, 'that golden glow, it can't be.' He slowly comes to a realization in horror. "Eri-chan's…?" he whispered.
"That's right" All for One laughed, apparently hearing Deku. "Created from the quirk erasing drug you heroes had gracefully delivered to us." Ripping off his mask, it revealed a rejuvenated white-haired man back into his physical prime, stunning even Shigaraki. "Now that I've used this rewind drug, I will eventually disappear and perish," he said somberly, but eventually broke out into a calculating smile. "But until then, forgive me if I seem like I'm rushing this."
Fallen down, frozen, fear like no other traveled up Deku's spine, as well as the other vestiges within his quirk. His mind racing, heart pounding, hands sweating, the 9th wielder of One for All doesn't know if he'll be able to win. The fire to fight was slowly being smothered out by the mountain of fear in front of him. He hasn't mastered One for All yet, he's tired from several days of no rest, he's deep in enemy territory by himself with no backup, and most of all he's scared. Scared of fighting, scared of dying, and terrified of what would happen if he loses. He doesn't know what to do. But then he remembers a lesson he had forgotten, a lesson that was imparted onto him when he was still at UA. "It's true that heroes have many things to protect. And that's why… We cannot lose!" 'That's right, I can't lose' Deku gets back up 'I have too much on the line to give up now!' One for All sparking up, the ember that was left bare lit up and roared into action creating a blazing inferno of fight within.
"Ho, still have the will to fight I see," All for One contemplated "I'm glad you'll make it a bit more interesting then," he said mockingly.
As if to remind him once more, Deku's mind flashes back to when All Might first truly showed him that with all his strength and speed he was still just human. "I smile to show the pressure of heroes and to trick the fear inside of me." The One for All inheritor reminisces internally, before unmasking himself, fully exposing his features. "One for All was created with the intention to defeat All for One…" Clenching his fists and readying into a stance, "But over time that has changed, it has become a power meant to save people! That's why…" Deku continued, looking straight at the symbol of evil with a determined smile. "I'll defeat you, and save everyone with a smile!"
All for One was quiet for once since the start of his arrival, almost seeming undisturbed by Deku's spiel. His face, however, betrayed him and his thoughts. He was furious, more so than he had been in a long time, having an expression that could kill any lesser man. Giving up on intimidation using words, The villain deactivated his levitation quirk and descended to the ground. As soon as he had made contact, with a tremendous burst of speed, he bolted to Deku in an attempt to end it in a single move.
Shigaraki Tomura on the other hand, snapping out of seeing a rejuvenated All for One, saw him make his move on the One for All user, prompting him to join in.
Deku being notified by danger sense of both the oncoming villains, he responds by activating a certain quirk. "Full Blast!" he shouts, unleashing the quirk at maximum force. 'Smokescreen,' the quirk of the sixth user, En, allowing Izuku to generate a thick cloud of smoke covering a very wide area in hopes of obstructing their vision long enough to form a plan.
Unfortunately, while it initially made the two All for One users hesitate, they were quick to adapt using sense quirks as well as pro hero Ragdoll's quirk 'Search' to locate him.
"We can see you Midoriya Izuku, there's no use hiding" Shigaraki boasted giddily as if he found someone when playing hide-and-seek. Extending his hands, Shigaraki uses the same black and red tendril quirk All for One had used earlier to try and pierce the hero through the smoke.
Launching into the air, forgoing the smokescreen Deku looks downward for the two villains, spotting only Shigaraki smiling crazily with All for One nowhere in sight. All of a sudden he feels danger sense pinging, notifying him where the missing enemy was. Pushing far past his limit to 70% of One for All, muscles straining, the young hero somersaults mid-air, dodging a stab wound in the stomach, but instead taking a slash wound to the front, also building the momentum to land an ax kick in front of him into an unamused All for One who attempted to grab his head. "Manchester Smash!" Landing the kick, Deku launches All for One several miles away using tremendous force, causing nearby shaking and nearby collapsed buildings to shift from the sheer air pressure.
Sensing more danger behind him, Deku turns to Shigaraki in the air and sees the same tendrils heading toward him at high speeds, wanting to dodge all of them, but finding himself too slow, the One for All user twists his body, dodging the tendrils aiming for his vitals but allowing some to be able to hit their target, puncturing through his calf and grazing his shoulder.
Smashing through the tendrils, Deku extended his arm towards Shigaraki and shouted "Pinpoint Focus!" using Blackwhip, he quickly shot out a tendril at the building behind him. Using it like a bungee cord, he shoots himself towards Shigaraki like a speeding bullet. "Detroit Smash!" Deku yells, striking Shigaraki in the temple with a 70% smash, knocking the All for One inheritor through several buildings miles long.
Breathing heavily the One for All inheritor is trying to formulate a plan to defeat them. But it isn't helping when he's being double-teamed by the two most powerful villains in the world. "How do I take them down?" Deku muttered under his breath.
"I've got an idea," a voice inside his head proposed, "but you'll have to shut up and learn fast."

One for All POV a few minutes ago
Within One for All, in the vestige world, the predecessors of the quirk are doing their best to formulate their own plan to help Deku win.
Nana Shimura, the seventh user of One for All paces back and forth on the platform suspended in the void. "It can't keep going like this, at this rate, he'll be tired out before he finds any kind of plan to defeat All for One" she expresses frantically.
"Well it's not like we can do much to help down here" opines the fifth user, Daigoro Banjo. "What are we doing down here anyway?" The vestige questioned. "Shouldn't we be out there to give ghostly advice to our little green bean and whatnot?"
The fourth user, Hikage Shinomori shares his opinion, "No we shouldn't, not when we have nothing to advise him with." Humming to himself, pondering, "If we go out there and have nothing useful to say, all we would do is become a distraction."
"Then what can we do?" Nana shouts distressfully. "We're in here, doing nothing when a kid whose problems should only consist of girls and homework is fighting out there, cleaning up messes us adults should have taken care of long ago." Tears in her eyes Nana Shimura sits down contemplating the choices she made in life.
"First of all…" The sixth user, En proposes, "we need to keep a cool head if we need to formulate any sort of plan, that means no crying-" Nana glares at him with tear-filled eyes "-over themselves into a pity party." Sighing to himself and running his hand through his hair, "Regardless of his age, he needs help, so, have any ideas, anyone?"
Everyone was quiet for a moment until one spoke up. "Just one." Yoichi Shigaraki, the first user of One for All as well as the brother of All for One spoke. All vestige eyes turned to him. "Let's face it, it's only a matter of time until one of them tries to steal One for All, most likely my brother" heads nodding in harsh agreement. "When that happens a door in All for One will appear, giving the 7 of us a chance to dive in and destroy it from the inside out, possibly giving Deku the edge he needs to defeat them." A moment of silence passes.
"So a final stand huh," chuckled Daigoro, which eventually grew into an outright laugh. "I can dig it! It's been getting pretty boring in here for a while now anyway."
"One more chance at beating the devil," En mused "Will this affect One for All in any way besides us leaving?" he questioned.
Hikage pondered, "It might be critical to our loss if Deku loses all of our quirks in the process." Vestige's eyes narrowing. "He will be able to use our quirks after we're gone, correct?"
Heads turn to look at Yoichi for confirmation. He nods his head "Yes, One for All will be fine" several sighs of relief pass through the room as he explains "Our quirks are already integrated within One for All's core along with all the power it stockpiled up, We are no longer needed here."
"We're in," heads turn to the second and third users, "As long as it'll help take All for One down, I'll sacrifice myself as many times as necessary." The second user asserted. The third user just nodded in agreement.
Yoichi nodded to them. He then looked at Nana, who's been quiet since his proposal. "Nana, what about you?" he asked gently.
The seventh user took a deep breath and exhaled. "I'm in, I'm just worried for Izuku after we leave," she explained with a worried expression. "Regardless of us putting All for One out of commission, I still can't see Izuku being able to take out Shigaraki through his super regeneration."
Vestiges wincing, remembering the threat of the All for One successor. She explains "For him to win, Izuku needs to take him out in one blow, as building up damage just isn't going to work on someone like Shigaraki." She pauses and then shakes her head. "If only we had more time-"
"Time we don't have and can't afford," the third user cuts in. "If he needs to take Shigaraki out in one blow, then my meta-ability can help." Seeing brows furrowed in confusion make him continue. "'Fa Jin' had allowed me to build up and store kinetic energy as I move and later release it as an explosive burst of speed and power."
Daigoro snorts in his chair, "Yes we know what your damn quirk does, we all do, we've been stuck together for the past several decades" the third turns and glares at him for interrupting. "Get to the point."
Still giving the fifth user the stink eye, the third continues,"On the other hand, like everyone else's meta-ability, it became stronger in Deku," heads nodding in agreement. "Until now, he hasn't truly used Fa Jin in tandem with One for All." Still puzzled, the other vestiges gestured for him to continue. "I noticed this in his fight with Nagant. He builds up the kinetic energy by just moving and releases it in a single area, but if he were to use the stockpiled power within One for All to build up the energy stores instead of the kinetic energy throughout his body, the force behind an attack powered like that would surpass anything we've seen so far." He paused, allowing them to soak the information in. "Theoretically of course, we can't say the damage for sure until he does it himself."
"And why do you only mention this now?" Nana questions inquisitively, but can already guess the reason.
"Simple," the third user states. "He wasn't ready, he can barely use my quirk as is with the parallel processing required for it, and I wasn't gonna add more to the kid's plate." Nodding Nana sat back.
"In any case" Yoichi opined, "I believe you need to get out there and coach ninth on how to use your ability properly while we prepare." Pausing for a moment, he then continued, "And let him know our plan to deal with All for One so he can give us a way in."
Nodding he vanished to head to Deku.
Nana Shimura sat in her chair looking at the ground. "Getting second thoughts," Yoichi inquired, standing next to her.
"Never in a million years" she replied quickly. She knew by now that the only way to save Shimura Tenko was to end Shigaraki, but it took a toll on her regardless.
"Then why the down face?" the first user continued. Knowing the reason of a problem and admitting it were completely two different things. That's why he needed her to steel herself so her will doesn't get smothered by All for One's.
"I'm scared" she admitted finally, closing her eyes, "Not of dying, but scared for Izuku, this weight on his shoulders, it never should have been his to carry, hell it shouldn't even have been Toshi's to carry, but here we are. Having children fight our battles for us when all we can do is hope."
A moment of silence passed. "Maybe, but if all we have done was hope, then why don't we try lightening up the burden this time."
Nana Shimura pauses, then opens her eyes, "Yeah, it's the least we can do for him." Smiling lightly, she stands up straight and looks forward. "Let's give this bastard hell."
…
Deku POV
Deku was confused, glad to have help from the vestiges, but confused nonetheless. "Learn fast? What do you-"
"First off, fly away from these two now" the third user ordered. "We need time to talk and you can't do it with two All for Ones beating the snot out of you."
Knowing better than to ask questions flew off, away from both Shigaraki and All for One, knowing that they would both catch up soon. "Okay, so what do I need to learn to defeat All for One?" He asked grimly, Steeling himself to hear whatever advice they could give him.
"Well first off, you haven't been using my meta-ability properly at all" he stated plainly. Causing Deku to nearly fly face first into a building and deactivate float.
"What!?" the ninth user exclaimed. He's been using Fa Jin for weeks now and he was just been told he hadn't been using it properly at all. "Then what have I been doing wrong then?"
"Simple, you're using it how I had used it when I was still around."
Deku's brow furrowed, "I don't see the problem with tha-"
The vestige interrupts him, "Look we don't have the time to play 20 questions, you already know all of our meta-abilities have been supercharged with One for All's well of energy." The third user explains hurriedly, "Smokescreen had an increase in maximum force, Blackwhip became far more powerful than before, Danger Sense now reacts faster and farther than before, and Float by itself can now allow you to fly at high speeds." Deku's head nodding in slow realization. "As of now, you have been using Fa Jin to limits even I had reached before, do you see the issue now?"
Gears turning in his head, Deku realizes there is some aspect of Fa Jin he hasn't tapped into until now. "I understand" nodding, but then another question pops into mind. "Why now?" He asks the vestige, who is unfazed by the question. "Why tell me this now and not earlier?"
"Because you weren't ready, you barely had any grasp on parallel processing which is required to even use my power, even more so with the changes One for All brought." Deku was gonna say something but stopped himself because he knew he was right. "But we don't have any more time, so you have to learn this now, or All for One wins."
"Yes sir" replied the One for All inheritor sternly.
"Good answer, we also have a plan to deal with All for One Sr. so listen closely, we only have a couple of minutes."
…
Despite the arduous explanation behind One for All powered Fa Jin, the theory behind was relatively simple. Deku needed to store the infinite wells of stockpiled energy from One for All in the stores of Fa Jin. "While simple in theory, it will be harder than just pouring energy on a body part, you have to find the stores of Fa Jin and direct One for All into it through a different path than you're used to." Gritting his teeth, he remembers what Third had said. He knows it makes sense, he just needs to apply it. While attempting to fill the stores up with One for All, he keeps flooding his body with One for All. "But what am I doing wrong?" he pondered frustratingly. It's like trying to squeeze a cup of water into his mouth but it goes everywhere.
"..."
'That's a terrible analogy brain, you can do better than that' he thought to himself. 'When would you ever need to squeeze a cup into your mouth when you can just use a straw…' He slowly trails off. Like a puzzle nearing completion, the young hero finally comes up with an epiphany, eyes widening in realization.
"I've been going about it all wrong, I thought I was supposed to be pushing One for All's energy into Fa Jin, but I should have been doing the opposite!" Deku exclaimed, feeling the Fa Jin stores fill up with a new energy, feeling so much easier than before when pulling instead of pushing. As he was about to test it out, a familiar ping in his head alerted him of the incoming danger.
"So this is where you've been hiding Midoriya Izuku," A smooth voice proclaimed. Turning his head Deku sees a calm and collected All for One with Shigaraki Tomura looking down on him once more, both looking completely unscratched, most likely due to their super regeneration quirks. "Forgive me for my outburst earlier, I will promise you that it will not happen again" he assured the One for All user.
Knowing he can't run, not with All for One keeping a cool head, Deku uses blackwhip to wrap around his limbs and body for compression support as he charges One for All up to 100%, gritting his teeth, nearly screaming in pain as he does.
"What, not gonna run again?" Shigaraki mocked with a knowing smile.
Deku took a deep breath, and exhaled, knowing his time at 100% was limited, "No, no more running, this ends now." Using the small reserves held within Fa Jin filled with One for All's stockpiled energy, he all but vanished from sight, at a speed that surprises even All for One. Reappearing in front of the symbol of evil "Detroit SMASH!" He all but screams, thrusting his fist into the man's solar plexus causing him to cough out blood, blasting All for One into the sky creating several sonic booms in the process. Knowing he was down an arm he looks towards Shigaraki, powering down while building up his Fa Jin stores.
The All for One successor had a wild expression on his face, one of anger, greed, happiness, and surprise. But in his eyes, Deku saw, no he felt a young child within, wanting to be saved from his misery, but suddenly it changed. "Don't you dare look at me like that," Shigaraki screamed, "I am not some bumbling idiot needing to be saved by you!" His eyes shouted desperation, the source of which he couldn't figure out. "I'll destroy everything!"
"Why do you feel the need to break everything?" Deku asked somberly, gesturing to their surroundings, both of them suspended in the air. "Is this senseless destruction what you truly want to achieve?"
Pausing for a moment, Shigaraki looks at the environment, the city destroyed, crumbling debris with no sign of life anywhere. His sight moved to his hands, which were to his surprise, shaking. "No… I…" He clenches his fist and looks up with a crazed guise, "The current system of this society has failed, it's been doomed to fail, having been built on the flaws of the people." His arm begins to bulge, enlarging to extreme levels even larger than his mentor's version in his last fight with All might. "That's why…" he snarled, "I'll destroy everything, then when I'm done I'll become God and everyone will become equal under my oppression!"
Deku stares at him with a sad expression, almost wistfully, thinking about what could have been, before charging One for All back to 100%. He was still building his Fa Jin stores, which were now close to reaching full capacity.
"As expected of my young successor, I couldn't have said it better myself." A familiar voice declared with a modicum of pride and arrogance behind Deku.
Eyes widening, 'How did he get back so fast?' he internally screamed, turning around, he is shown All for One, half of his body submerged in a sludge-like portal with his hand centimeters away from his face. While he would be able to just barely avoid his hand, he remembers the plan his predecessor had thought of to take him out of commission. With that, he closes his eyes and fully commits to charging Fa Jin.
All for One, seeing his enemy close his eyes as if in acceptance, would normally bring up several questions to avoid making mistakes, but considering he was seconds away from claiming his centuries-old prize he wasn't patient enough to remember. "It's my win" he boasted with a crazed grin so wide it threatened to split his face.

Vestige World POV
"This is it" The first user announced, "We go in there and we destroy as many quirks as we can and we leave the rest up to ninth."
The vestiges nod, preparing themselves for one last fight. In his mind, Yoichi hoped he could do one last thing for Deku as a farewell present.
Looking in the distance of the void, the vestiges saw it approaching, a platform of dozens upon dozens of other vestiges, lay there compliantly with a certain white-haired man in a suit standing grinning, arms raised as if to signify he's here.
"The bastard, look at him, acting as if he already has the quirk" Daigoro growled.
"He does if we don't step up," the second user scoffed. "I bet he thinks this is going to be a walk in the park for him."
"Ninth put his trust in us to take care of him," the third began, "I don't plan on letting him down."
"We won't," Nana Shimura asserted. "He goes down now, no more rematches, no more comebacks."
"Enough chatter," the fourth user, Hikage Shinomori, orders. "Here he comes."

Vestige World - All for One POV
Despite how unbecoming it is, he just couldn't stop smiling, and who can blame him? More than 200 Years had passed since this quirk escaped his grasp. All this time and resources poured into claiming his quarry, and time and time again, it evades and hides becoming stronger with each meeting. Like a cockroach, it just wouldn't submit.
But alas, his time was not wasted on it, through his pressure the quirk grew in strength and maturity. Much like a fine wine, with time it became a quirk unmatched by nearly all but his own. But just when he thought it had reached its limit with All Might being able to defeat him with it. He was delightfully proven wrong; not only did the quirk grow in strength, it evolved, allowing the user to tap into the supercharged versions of the previous holder's quirk. When he learned of this news, he all but salivated at the thought of obtaining it.
And now it was his to claim, he can already tell the will of the ninth inheritor will not be enough to stop him, in a few years maybe, but that was his mistake before, he allowed the bud to bloom into a flower, which paved the way to his defeat. Not again, All for One never makes the same mistake twice, this child will be an example of that.
Reaching near the entrance of One for All, the symbol of evil frowned, expecting to see some kind of 'welcoming party' in the front from some old dead friends and family. He had wanted to hold his win over their heads like a trophy, to let them know that their lives of rebelling against him filled with suffering were for naught. He knew they were all there, they had indeed met before within the recesses of Tomura's mind. With that in mind, "Where are you brother?" he mused.
"Looking for me All for One, or should I say, brother?" A familiar voice called out to him.
Turning his head lazily, unfazed by the appearance of his vestige of a brother. "Ah, there you are Yoichi, I was hoping I could see you this fine day, as our last meeting was cut short." Seeing his brother again did put a smile on his face, even if it was just a corpse.
"Indeed it was, but today is the last you'll ever see me or anyone again." The first user of One for All replied.
Baffled, All for One suddenly started giggling which eventually broke out into laughter, his voice filled with sinister joy permeating the void with its noise. "Really now, corpse, I applaud you for giving me a good laugh, but in reality, all you are going to do is sit back and do nothing while I take back the quirk you've wrongfully taken from me all these years." He said with a manic smile on his face.
"Not if we can destroy All for One before you do" Yoichi declared, his voice brimming in determination.
At this All for One smiled, was his brother truly still this naive after all this time? "Foolish little brother, I can't be destroyed regardless of what you believe."
Yoichi smiled in return, "I don't believe I was talking about you."
For once in several decades, All for One's face was muddled with confusion. But then he felt it. His body convulsing in pain, he screamed. After what felt like hours of torture, it let up. Breathing heavily, not being able to get up from the ground, The older brother stares at his younger sibling venomously, "What. Did. You. Do?" He spat out, with each word hurting him due to his sore throat.
"Not much besides destroying your collection of quirks," the One for All user explained, "I heard it was easier than they thought, considering how the original version of All for One is no longer here."
Gritting his teeth, the older man couldn't believe the amateur mistake he made. He knew something was up when the child accepted his hand, he should have seen this coming, he was All for One, the man who-
"Oi," his brother interrupted with a mocking smile. "Come now, don't be sad, I'll be with you till the end, I promise, I've already given my farewell gift now anyway."
"Damn you corpses" All for One snarled while struggling to move. "This isn't the end for me, Tomura will succeed where I failed and I will be reborn." Giving up on moving, he settled with staring at his former hostage, looking for a response.
Unperturbed by his brother's threats, Yoichi just looked forward into the void. "Don't count on it," he whispered just loud enough for his relative to hear. "He put his trust in us to take you down and we'll do the same." Staring at the entrance of One for All, "I hope I got you a good one ninth, you sure do deserve it."

Deku POV
Instead of wasting his time struggling to break free, Deku used it to overcharge Fa Jin. Knowing that if the jig goes on as planned, he'll have under a minute of time to build up and as much energy as possible and he needs every second he can get. Internally, he felt like a part of him left, but considering he was still using his quirk, he guessed it was his predecessors.
Seconds pass and All for One's hand falls down, his golden aura-coated body becoming limp, yet still upright, suspended mid-air in his portal. Taking that as his cue Deku turned around, bringing One for All back to life with him discharging emerald green lightning. Preparing to fully release Fa Jin's stored-up energy, the ninth wielder of One for All reeled back his fist to thrust it forward, ready to end the battle. Only to feel nothing being released or activated.
'No…' Deku stared at his fist in horror, 'this can't be happening now. the stores of energy in Fa Jin, I know it's there, I can feel it.' In his attempt to force it out results in excruciating pain all over his body. He couldn't help it, he screamed. It felt like thousands upon thousands of jagged needles were tearing into him. 'The power can't come out' the young hero realized. 'There's so much of it condensed together, it literally tears my body to shreds trying to leave.'
All of a sudden, Shigaraki starts laughing sinisterly, as if thriving on the hero's pain and screams. "It looks like Sensei hadn't completely failed I guess" he surmised, not looking too hung up about it. "Don't worry Midoriya Izuku, I'll leave you just barely alive, I haven't had the chance to take One for All just yet." He raised his enlarged arm towards Deku
"I can't lose…" Deku gritted his teeth, "Not when I promised, swore, to take back everything you all have taken." Clenching his fists, emerald light poured out of his body, "If it takes everything I have and more to take you down, then I'll risk it all…" A familiar expression emerges onto the ninth wielder's glowing face "...to save everyone with a smile!"
With that Shigaraki dashes toward Deku, grotesque arm extended. But right before he does, he hears one last line from his archnemesis.
"I'm sorry Tenko."
Hearing that line reaches far within the depths of Shigaraki, halting him, giving the chance for one Shimura Tenko to briefly take over. A kind face replacing the murderous look Shigaraki usually had on. "No need to apologize Deku…" Tenko spoke with a gentle childish voice "You got me out from that dark place after all. Thank you for everything!" He smiles widely with tears of joy running down his cheeks.
Deku looks at him with a sorrowful smile, his own tears running down his face betraying his thoughts. "A-anytime," he choked out.
With that said, power exploded from Deku, a wave of green energy expanding outwards like a sphere. Completely disintegrating everything within a 2-mile radius, including All for One and Shigaraki Tomura.
Unknown to all, the portal which suspended the rejuvenated All for One in midair was changed the most. Due to several factors, the portal changed, losing its sludge-like properties and color, converging on itself and reforming into a dark purplish form with thousands and thousands of differently colored lights as if it was a gateway of galaxies formed by sheer miracle.
Deku, having barely survived the blast, lost consciousness as well as his control on float, proceeding to fall into the mysterious portal.
