Chapter 1: Prologue
Our story begins in Pallet Town in the Kanto region where a boy with black hair and z marks on him face was waiting outside. This was 5 year old Ash Ketchum a boy from Pallet who dreams about going of on his own Pokemon Journey and become a Pokemon master one he reaches the required age of 10. At the moment he is an energetic boy awaiting his mother Delia Ketchum to drive him to Professor Oaks Summer Camp. Once Delia comes out she asks "Ash do you have Everything?" Ash exclaims "Yeah!" After this both of them get the car and drive to Professor Oaks Lab.
On the way Ash looks outside and sees different types of Pokemon dreaming of him catching some of those one day. He doesn't notice that they have arrived after noticing he gets out of the car with his mother. they meet up with the other parents and Professor Oak. He then tell the children to line up and enter the bus as all the children say goodbye to their parents and board the bus. After the long bus ride the kids free to do whatever they want so they go and play with each other. during the time at the camp Professor Oak show them different types of Pokemon, Pokemon evolution and many other things it is at the end of the camp where he takes them to a battle arena to see a real Pokemon battle take place Ash is very excited when he realizes who is competing it is a Pokemon trainer who he idolizes so he was very excited.
Once the crowd was seated the the battle went under way but it was not the battle Ash hoped he hoped his idol would defeat the opponent easily but he was wrong his opponent was smart and was able to counter every move his Pokemon threw and even with the type advantage he still lost. The worst part was the guy was not even nice to his Pokemon he treated them like crap and didn't care about them. After beating him the man was given a trophy and was asked to give a speech and the speech he gave was what changed something in Ash he said "To all Pokemon trainers or kids wanting to become one take my advice Pokemon are tools to success and tools must be used when worn out or not worthy get a new won do not treat them as friends treat them as Tools."
That word rung in Ash's head for the remainder of the trip home and when he got home he locked himself in his bedroom and thought about until he came to a decision ... He was right. They are meant to be used as tools and that is the same lifestyle Ash intends to use. So from this day his journey will be different and so will his attitude.
