CHAPTER 1

Hermione was confused. She thought the sight of Ron kissing Lavender Brown would hurt her a lot more. She didn't know what to do with this feeling. By nature, she liked to have everything tidy. Situations in which she could not find a solution irritated her, therefore she tried with all her strength to prevent them. This time, however, she failed. Until recently, she thought that she was beginning to feel something more than friendship for her redheaded friend. This kiss showed her how wrong she was.

- Don't be sad. My brother is an asshole. - She heard the voice of her fiery-haired friend. - Give him time and he will find out what he may lose.

The brunette looked at the girl stunned. - Why do you think she has feelings for him? I never had a romantic feeling for Ron. - she said truthfully.

Ginny looked at her as if she didn't understand what she meant. She reached out and placed it gently on her friend's shoulder. - You don't have to pretend. Everyone knows that you are in love with my brother.

- What? I was in love with your brother. But not in Ron. You have six brothers. Have you forgotten? - Her first meeting with Charlie Weasley at the Quiditch Cup and her short-lived infatuation with the older boy flashed before her eyes.

Without waiting for the girl's reply, Hermione just left. She wondered how many people thought like Ginny. How many people thought she had a crush on her friend when she herself had only recently begun to have doubts about the nature of their relationship. She had to take her distance. Firmly.

As she walked, she didn't notice that she had come down from Griffindor Tower to the library. The force of her habits had to work. Probably she would have gone further if she had not collided with something, but rather with someone unexpected.

- Holy shit Granger! Are you not looking where you go or what? Shouldn't you be with your bodyguards now?

Hermione looked up and saw the reason for her frustration. Draco Malfoy. He was not dressed in his usual school robes. The black T-shirt with long sleeves emphasized the more and more muscular figure. She realized that he hadn't actually looked like the sickly first-year boy in a long time. Still drunk, she dared to answer. Quite non-standard.

- Kiss Me. Looking at how Ron kissed Lavender, not only did I not feel jealous of him, but also imagined the touch of your lips on my lips. I would like to know if a real kiss is equal to this kiss in my imagination.

The blonde looked at her shocked. His pupils widened noticeably. He looked like he didn't know what to do, but it was only for a moment. As soon as he regained control of himself, he closed his eyelids, pulled her closer and gently touched his lips to hers.

- I've been thinking about more than that. - She was disappointed, to put it mildly.

Malfoy looked at her and his characteristic smile appeared on his face. He gently leaned over and when she thought he would kiss her again, he brought his lips to her ear and said in a confident voice three sentences .

- I'll kiss you when you're sober. Just remember when I kiss you, you will be mine, only mine. The Malfoys aren't sharing.

When he heard a groan of pleasure coming from her slightly parted lips, he added - I did not think that after losing I would be so happy. I unexpectedly got what I dreamed of as an eleven-year-old. An innocent kiss. Next time I will get what I dream about as a 16 year old.

The blonde looked Hermione in the eyes and leaned over so that he could brush his lips against her neck. The girl trembled feeling the effect of his kiss almost all over her body. However, she was so shocked that she didn't move.

- Ah, Hermione, don't look at me like that, or I will ignore my rules and take you here and now. At the door of the Potions Hall.

- You're right. - she sighed. - I would prefer not to expose my body to Professor Slugthorn.

A shadow of anxiety flashed across the boy's face. There was a hesitation in his eyes. - If you want to see my naked body, you will have the opportunity to come to the Requirements Room tomorrow after dinner. There you can find useful silence and… Privacy. You're gonna be Granger?

Against her sanity, Gryffindor decided to take the risk and said only one word before turning and heading back to the tower of her house. - I will be.

The girl wanted to leave the dungeons quickly, so she didn't notice that Draco Malfoy smiled. She also did not know that he was watching her steps, hoping that they would meet alone the next day.

- I'll be with her. And my father will not stop me. And mom will help.

Hermione wondered what to do with herself. She wasn't going to see Ron in the company of his girlfriend. It wasn't even that she was jealous of her redheaded friend. She was jealous of feelings. She was feeling very lonely at the moment. Harry looked after Ginny. Ron had Lavender. And she? This loneliness began to bother her so much that more and more often in her erotic fantasies it was Malfoy who played the main role. So how could she refuse him to meet him?

- The Dragon Calliope. - The girl said the password to the Fat Lady. She was annoyed because it took a moment to realize that the guardian of the Gryffindor entrance was not currently in the picture. The only thing left for her was to hope that someone would hear the knocking in the throes of fun that lasted in the common room. - What the hell is the Dragon Calliope? - she muttered to herself irritably.

- I don't know, actually. - Hermione heard first and then saw Neville Longbottom peering out from behind the tilted picture frame. - Miona, it's you. - A wide smile appeared on the boy's face. - Come on in.

Hermione looked around the common room, surprised that the party was practically over. - What happened? When I was leaving here ... - She didn't have time to finish as Neville said something that surprised and made her laugh at the same time.

- Apparently Professor McGonagall's headquarters are nearby. It was loud enough to show up here. School of Magic and none of us thought of using a silencing spell. She came wearing a tartan bathrobe and a cap on her head. At first there was some chuckle, but after the first of us laughed, the professor chased everyone away. Only those who wanted to learn could stay.

The brunette smiled to herself, wishing she had seen this situation. - Has anyone noticed that I wasn't here? - she asked.

- Probably not. Ron was glued to Lavender. And Harry was trying to communicate with sour Ginny. After you left, her mood deteriorated. Harry tried to find out what is going on. Where were you?

- On a walk. What are you learning today? - she was interested.

The boy blushed. He seemed confused. - Just don't tell Harry anything. I've been waiting for you. Harry got a used book during his first Slugthorn class. I think that book is propety of Snape. I'd like to give it back to him, but I don't know how to do it. You know he hates me.

Hermione looked at her first friend in the magical world and sighed before taking his hand and dragging him onto the couch in front of the fireplace. - Why do you want to give it back to him?

- You know what Harry is like. Impulsive. This book contains spells that were created by our professor. We both know what his past was. It is not known what they can be used for. Anyway, since the fourth year, I have been researching plants that enable them to stay temporarily under water. I would not like anyone to use my work without my knowledge.

The girl understood what he was talking about. - In particular, we do not know if he is preparing a publication under his own name.

Neville nodded in confirmation. - I have this book. I bet Harry will search the entire dormitory tomorrow with the intention of finding her. What will you help me? He thinks you are obnoxious all-knowing but he treats you better than me anyway. If only I knew what I did to him ...

She hugged the boy and whispered in his ear. - I'll help you. Will you come to breakfast with me tomorrow? We'll eat something in the kitchen.

- Of course. - Neville's face lit up with a smile.

She knew she was so tired that she would probably fall asleep immediately after laying her head on the pillow. With the last of her strength she walked over the stairs leading to her dormitory. She expected her roommates to be asleep a long time ago, but she was not so lucky.

- Where were you? - Lavender Brown said firmly.

- Exactly, where have you been? one of the Patil twins echoed her.

Hermione told them the first excuse that came to her mind. - Butter beer hurt me. I took advantage of my prefect status and went for a walk. - She wasn't going to explain what she was doing. - Congratulations Lavender. - She smiled sincerely at the surprised girl.

- Congratulations?

- Yeah. Ron is a great boy. He has his bad times but he can be very loyal. - Hermione was aware that her fatigue made her sound unconvincing. Tomorrow, she knew rumors would circulate that she envied Lavender being Ron's girlfriend.

- Thank you. Really. - It was nice to see a sincere smile on the faces of both girls with whom she has already spent over five years in one dormitory and with whom she still has not established any friendly relationship.

The last thing she thought before falling asleep was the touch of a blonde's lips on hers.

She wasn't aware that at the same time the blonde was having similar thoughts. Draco Malfoy was luckier than Gryffindor, because when he returned to his dorm it turned out that he was alone. He knew Theodor Nott was probably staying with his girlfriend Pansy Parkinson, and Blaise Zabini had discussions with Luna Lovegood about the Nargles. Not that he himself knew what it was, but he was happy that his friends were happy though. Unfortunately, the other two boys, whom he considered brothers, although they set themselves up as his bodyguards, moved away from him. Vincent Crabble and Gregory Goyle.

- Her lips. - he whispered. - The image of her eyes, hair, lips appeared in his head again and again. He did not know what was causing her, so he did not want to use her. If they were ever to be together like this, it would have to be special. He couldn't waste his first time on someone who wasn't worth it.

It turned out that a chance encounter in the empty corridors of Hogwarts had contributed to Draco Malfoy's quietest night since the day he realized that his father had not really been under the spell of imperius during the First War. The first peaceful night since Harry Potter announced that Voldemort had returned. For the first time, Draco Malfoy did not think about his bad position and the warmth of the girl's body, who was always beyond his reach.

I lengthened the first chapter a bit. As I reread the first three chapters of this story, I couldn't help but find something missing. So I added. Hope the change is positive. I'd love to hear from you. Regards, katie-krum.
