Gorilla was driving Adrien to school as Nathalie was reading out his latest list of things he needed to do through the week, Adrien wasn't listening as his mind was elsewhere thinking about Marinette. It was almost a month since Adrien broke up with Kagami and was ready to confess his love to Marinette revealing himself to be Chat Noir, instead the love of his life confessed her indentity to Luka giving her heart to the guitar player instead of the one that truly loved her. After finding out Ladybug's true identiy Adrien was thinking of ways to spend more time with Marinette by hanging out with their friends, telling his idea to Alya who was all for it but Nino being the voice of reason told them that Marinette wanted to be with Luka who treated her like she was his world then he had no problem with them being together.
Alya finally and reluctantly agreed with her boyfriend when he told her the facts, Alya always got her way and really didn't like to be told she was wrong but Nino put his foot down on this and Adrien was back at square one.
"Adrien... Adrien are you listening to me?" Asked Nathalie when she noticed the boy wasn't paying attention to her, Adrien wasn't in the mood to have an arguement with Nathalie as he repeated to his father's PA what he knew by heart glad that he was finally at school. Once the car drove away Adrien was greeted by Nino and Alya who were waiting for Marinette to arrive, the blond was soon smiling but his smile dropped when he saw Luka Couffaine waiting for his girlfriend. Something in Adrien snapped as the blonde stormed over with the look of hatred on his face, no one was expecting the sweet Agreste boy would lose his temper like he did as he punched Luka splitting his bottom lip.
Luka tried to turn the other cheek and be civil to Adrien for Marrinettes's sake as the boy was her friend, the teal-haired boy tried to reason with the blond saying he didn't want to fight. Adrien called Luka a coward and to fight back, again Luka refused and this angered Adrien as clenched his fist and swung in just as Luka weaved away. Agreste finally landed a hit as he smirked as he looked down expecting to see Luka on the ground- his smirk turned into a look of horror when instead of seeing Luka bleeding on the ground was Marinette who was holding the side of her face that was quickly swelling. Adrien was close to tears apologising for hurting her, but Luka seeing his melody on the floor groaning in pain was the last straw as reared back his fist and punched Adrien to the ground and layered in punches he could get in as Adrien covered his head.
That was when Principal La Reine storming out of the school roaring for everyone to step away as she glared at the two boys fighting, her attention then turned to Marinette who was staggering onto her feet and with a look of concern asked Juleka to take Marinette to see the nurse. Alya walked over to Marinette telling the purple-haired shy girl that she'll take over from here, Juleka was about to agree when Principal La Reine gave the Ladyblogger a stern look. "Miss Cesaire, as much as I know of your concern about a friend I need a vice class president to organise things with your teacher till Marinette's return," stated the Principal as she told everyone to get into class.
The crowd was thinning as the students went to their classes, both Adrien and Luka were glaring and threatening each other each bloody and bruised. Adrien was about to hit the girlfriend stealing SOB when a small but strong hand was on the blonds's shoulder. "I won't tolerate any violence in this school Mr Agreste and I don't care who started it as long as its stops here." Principal La Reine then turned her stern gold eyes to the older boy, "if you're a student in this school then I reccommend going to the school nurse before class."
Adrien was about to go the school nurse himself when he was stopped by the Principal as she told him to go to her office as she was a licenced first aider, also she didn't need another fight on her hands. As the Principal and her receptionist as witness tended to Adrien's cuts and bruises while Adrien stayed silent through it all, once finished and the boy was giving an icepack for his bruised knuckles the receptionist Ms Blanchet made a call to Mr Agreste as well as called to Captain Anarka to arrange a meeting for this afternoon.
Lionne La Reine looked at Adrien who still hadn't said a word as he put his focus on his injured hands than the angry woman in front of him, knowing she wasn't going to get answers she made two cups of raspberry leaf and mint tea to sooth her nerves and to calm the boy as handed him a plate with two croissants. "I can practically hear your stomach rumbling Mr Agreste so eat up then you can tell me why you attacked mr Couffraine?" said the red-haired woman as she took a sip of her tea, watching as the boy looked at the croissants as he tearfully began to sob that it wasn't fair. Now Ms La Reine was getting somewhere as she wanted an explaination and eventually Adrien told the Principal everything without revealing his secret idenity of his feelings he had for Marinette he realised too late.
Lionne took another sip of her tea and breathed in a sigh, "I'm sorry Mr Agreste but I have to punish you for what you did and report it to your father. I know you're a good student and this is your first time getting into trouble so I will put this into consideration. I want you and mr Couffriane back in my office after classes is that understood," Adrien nodded standing up ready to leave when Ms La Reine told him to take the croissants as a empty stomach is not a focused mind, the boy grinned as he took the food and quickly headed to class while the Principal as hungry as she was, was glad her breakfast was given to a student who needed it more as she made herself another cup of tea before getting on with her work.

As scheduled both Captain Anarka Couffraine and Mr Agreste's Assistant with a large I-Pad in her hands with Gabriel Agreste on Zoom call impatiently wanted this meeting to end as he had more important things to worry about. Oh how Principal La Reine wanted to smack the arrogance of the infuriating man, but she gritted her teeth and told herself to be professional as she told Adrien to apologise for his actions before deciding what Adrien's punishment should be, both Luka and Marinette didn't want to press charges so the blond was lucky on that front but Adrien still needed to face the consciences.
Taking a deep breath Principal La Reine informed Adrien's father of his son's uncalled for attack on a student and since it is recorded and there were plenty of witnesses that state that Adrien did start the attack, all she needed was Adrien's side of the story and his motive in why he did what he did. Gabriel smirked when he said he was going to prosecute the school for negligence as Nathalie was starting procedures when Lionne smiled as she went through the laws that state that Mr Agreste had no right to take his son out of school unless a family emergency or he was sick, since there was no emergency of any kind as photoshoots wasn't an emergency that means that Mr Agreste had to pay a trunacy fine of almost three thousand euros or three months in prison. Nathalie had her argument ready but even she couldn't find a loophole, Gabriel's smirk dropped when he realised he wasn't going to win his arguement.
Adrien was now dreading that he was going to be suspended or thrown out of the only freedom he really had, Luka and his mother agreed that this wouldn't go any further when Adrien apologised for his actions. Now that Adrien admited to his guilt there was nothing that Gabriel could do, instead of the mocking smile on the Principal's face as Gabriel was expecting he more than surprised that Lionne's smile was open and warm- it was the reason why so many of the students adored her. Finally agreeing to the Principal's terms that Adrien would attend his afterschool detentions for a month, there was a gleam in Lionne's gold eyes when Mr Agreste tried to argue his point of his son attending important photo shoots but Ms La Reine couldn't be budged on the subject.
Finally coming to an agreement that Adrien's photoshoots will be after school, Adrien was shocked that his father agreed to these terms as the man had always got his way in these things. When the call ended Nathalie always professional got to work in rescheduling everything for the next month. Once again Miss Sancoeur arranged appointments as she informed Adrien that Gorilla would pick him up once his detentions were over, when Nathalie left the Principal's office Adrien finally relaxed as he waited for his punishment.
