A Bones FF reader's Summer 2021 Writing Challenge wish: Aubrey has Christine and Hank for a fun afternoon when something happens (author's choice) that means he'll end up with them through the weekend. I've been re-watching Bones and I really didn't like how the writers showed us Sweets with a bit of spine and then took it away again after Gormogon. These are scenes where I felt that Sweets should have his spine back.

In the end, Booth had only been able to spend a couple of hours with Parker on Christmas Day. An AU ending for episode 01x09: The Man in the Fallout Shelter, and what might have happened if Booth had been with Bones when she returned to the Jeffersonian.

He was going to leave for the army and she was going to the jungle, but this wasn’t going to happen without a goodbye at the airport. This is my take on how that scene could have gone differently.

Set toward the end of season 6: When a skeleton turns up at the location of an illegal high-stakes pool tournament run by the mysterious Mr. Green, Booth and Brennan must go undercover as Tony and Roxie so Brennan can examine the remains. She also uses their covers to distract Booth from falling victim to his gambling addiction. Scripted and structured like an actual episode.

Set Before Season 7. Angela is having a hard time keeping Booth and Brennan's pregnancy a secret. And it doesn't help that everyone in the Jeffersonian suspects something is up. Unfortunately, none of them suspect the right thing...

An AU set during 2x09 Aliens in a Spaceship with famous message from Brennan to Booth being revealed. No happy ending.
