Resolve:
The next morning rolled around, as Kendall made a few early calls. Jackie and her preparing to sneak out of the city, as well as prepare themselves for this encounter. Once ready, they set out, and drove to their destination. Jackie could tell Kendall had a lot on her mind, not that she didn't have quite a bit herself. However, she was going to be there for her, especially for this.
When they got to their destination, Kendall let out a breath, both still in the car. Jackie placed her hand on her shoulder.
"I'm here, you won't face him alone." Jackie reminded, a small smile on her lips and assuring her. "He won't hurt you ever again, and I'm here for you." Kendall let out another breath, before smiling at her, nodding.
"Thanks Jackie." Kendall's voice was soft. "I needed that." Jackie nodding as well. The two getting out of the car, seeing the building. It was dull, yet intimidating at the same time. It was bleak, no greenery on the outside, or around it. It was tall, yet small for a prison, however what could Kendall expect as she looked at it.
"A private prison…" Kendall spoke. "I'd say it's fitting….but then again…" She let out. Jackie glanced. "Let's just do this." She started to walk, Jackie following her.
They entered the place, the inside just as simple, yet clean. It was depressing and pressuring as the two looked around. Both girls could feel it. They were helped, and led to a private sector of the prison. There they saw the Trenton girls with some files and papers. The sisters immediately got up, heading over to the girls.
"Kendall, Jackie." Haley greeted.
"As much as I would love a greeting and interesting discussion with you two…." Kendall wanted to get these answers, even more, she just wanted to be out of this place. The sisters nodded.
"We understand." Haley stated. The two looked towards a door. "He is through there, being held until we leave." She informed. Jackie and Kendall glanced at the door.
"Do….do we have a…. is there…." Jackie was unsure how to ask this, or any of the questions forming in her head from time limit and what they could say or not say to him. Or was anything allowed.
"You girls can ask him anything." Julie figured she was going to ask this information. "And he's all yours until you're done."
"Hunter's tend to be a bit more lenient on time, when it comes to these things, however it….never really changes things, especially outcomes." Haley mentioned.
"I see…" Kendall replied.
"Good luck." Haley told them both, as both her and her sister went to finish their paperwork.
Kendall and Jackie looked at each other. Kendall glanced down briefly, letting out another small breath, before looking forward and walking to the door to go into the private cell. Jackie followed.
The door creaked open then shut as the girls walked in. The cell was lit enough that Kendall saw inside it, though it was cage like to say the least. Inside was a man who had seemed to have lost some of his weight, aged, grown grey and dark stumble on his face, and still had the coldest, most hateful eyes aimed at her. She swallowed, but walked forward.
He had a low chuckle, which made Jackie uncomfortable and creeped out, considering he was in cell, locked up, chained up even, yet he was laughing about it. Or even laughing at them. She was a bit behind Kendall as he just made her feel fearful. She couldn't help but wonder how Kendall was able to survive him for so long during her childhood.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you two…" His tone spewed venom, displeasure, and bitterness. Kendall stilled herself, letting out another breath, before giving him a hard look. It felt like all she could do was just breathe, to keep it together, with her anxiety and panicked heart at this time. To keep a level head and calm.
"It's been almost six months, many things have changed…" Kendall began.
"That long." He huffed out, seeming to be unimpressed. "Feels like only a short time, all considering." He continued. "Though, it's not surprising to hear that many things have changed." She just stared harder at him with that statement.
"Not surprising?" She spoke. "Considering you're in a special prison, two girls come to us, and tell us our parents are special types of supernatural vampire hunters, our mothers having some kind of pure blood, plus much more." She informed in a neutral, yet somewhat testy tone. "Is it really?" He had a small look aimed at the both of them.
"I see." He drawled. "So you both think you know everything now." He had a low chuckle again. "Finally having your worlds awaken…though I can guarantee you both don't know it all."
"We realize that." Kendall couldn't help but narrow her eyes at his words. She stepped forward more, but only slightly. "We're not here because we wanted to have a nice visit before you leave." She commented. "We're here for answers." She stared harder at him.
"That so?" He inquired, somewhat intrigued although still unfazed.
"You owe us that much, especially regarding our mothers." Kendall responded. This caught him slightly off guard, however he didn't show it. He just continued to stare.
"Your mothers…" He let out, a brief quiet moment passing. "So you're here about that…" He started. "You think I owe you answers…"
"You do." Kendall reasoned. "Considering everything that has happened." She spoke. "We want to know." He let out another huff with that.
"Is that right…" His voice was quiet again, but still audible. "I see…. However, do you two really think you're ready to know?" He countered. Jackie had a curious and a bit concerned expression.
"What….what do you mean?" Jackie questioned. Kendall continuing to just stare.
"Very simple." He began. "You might want to know, hell you might deserve to know…" He gave them a weird look, as if being serious now, which neither were expecting. "However, are you ready to know?" He was inquisitive. "Are you prepared for all that I might say? There might be quite a few things that….shall I say, you might not like to hear, let alone, be ready to hear." He told them. Kendall and Jackie glanced at one another.
"We….we want to know." Kendall affirmed. "Like I said you owe us that much, being we want to know what happened, why….." She swallowed thinking about it. "Everything…. We want to know everything about our mothers." He had an intrigued look, before a small simple shrug came off him.
"Very well, but I did warn you." He reminded.
"Tell us…about them, about how….how did this all start, why….with what you two…" Jackie wasn't sure she was ready, but she needed to know. She held onto Kendall, not liking what was already going through her mind. She wanted answers, but for some reason questions were hard to form. As was her voice, however she managed to say some things.
"Being a hunter is different than being a normal human." He started to say. "We live by different rules, customs, traditions and…statures than others. Just like those bloodsuckers do. We're not average mortals, though we may die, how we age and everything, is different." He mentioned. "We want to keep discrete and private. Almost as if we're in our own world. However, we also know that within that world, we are here only for a few purposes. One of those being to annihilate the loathsome, filthy bloodsuckers." Kendall and Jackie had their own looks to that. "It was simple, as some hunters had special gifts or skills, others had to learn quickly to adapt, and so on. It's how we are." He continued. "We knew what we had to do and who our enemy was." He stated. "However, your mothers…" He let out a breath. "I can remember it clear as day. Everything about them back then and the way things happened."
The girls just listened more intently, both having their own mind sets about how it could've gone. "We were young. All of us….well your mothers the youngest being that both Larson and I were quite a few years older." He told them. Jackie had a curious look, which he noticed. "Larson was your father's name, as I can only presume Angela wanted to never bring up his name again. Let alone tell you the truth about him." He informed. "Which only makes sense with how things happened between them…" He commented. "Larson and I were great friends, just as your mothers were. We did many things together from train, hunt and more. So, when it was decided that we be the ones that were going to be betrothed to your mothers, we accepted the honor and were happy to be chosen." He added. "However, being that your mothers were so young, and were…..different. They weren't thrilled, let alone happy about the decision." He recalled. "They hated the fact of being betrothed to us, as they said they hated having their futures planned out for them, and didn't want anything to do with it." He continued. "Many of the elder hunters and those of a higher rank at the time, remember your mothers and their rebelliousness. The girls, though their own parents were taken from them, as was much of their families, were always different since an early age. Which many couldn't understand." He remembered. "They dared to care about the bloodsuckers, dared to want something different than what was tradition." He breathed.
Jackie and Kendall only stared more, listening as they were unsure of how to respond to anything at the moment. "They were…..were always different." He repeated the word, going further into their mother's background. "They had almost everything taken away from them by some filthy bloodsuckers, however, had it set in their minds that not all bloodsuckers were bad. That they deserved chances and could do good." He hated the memories flooding back to him. "Your mothers thought, acted and were different, and many wondered if it was their up brining, or something else. The others wanted to make and instill in your mothers our ways and traditions. Although, your mothers had other plans, especially when it was announced they were to be engaged, and the elders and council were going to choose their matches." He explained. "When we were chosen, the decision didn't sit well with your mothers, and they did everything they could at their young age to revoke the decision." He recalled. "Larson and I thought it was disgraceful, considering their background and their blood that was purer and finer than any other hunter." He stated. "They were almost as close to that of royal blood, which many were excited for."
"Even if many were ecstatic for it, our mothers weren't happy. They wanted more, wanted different." Kendall came in. "So why deprive them of that?"
"Simple, it was unheard of and ridiculous notions they believed in." He looked at her. "What they wanted was against our code, against everything we stood for." He continued. "They wanted friendships and peace with the bloodsuckers, as though those vile creatures earned it or were worthy of it." He mentioned. "It was appalling for all hunters." He said. The girls just gave him harder looks with that.
He sighed. "So when your mothers had exercised all they could with trying to revoke the engagements, and nothing fruitful came about, they did the only thing they thought was logical." He told them. "They decided to flee. Sneak out of the society, away from the academy, and have their own lives." He spoke. "They left, leaving Larson and I to find them and bring them back. Otherwise shame, dishonor and more would befall the hunters and us."
"So you both just chased them, so you could force them to marry you?" Jackie questioned.
"They needed to accept their fate, as that was the hunters' way." He answered. "However, fate had other, interesting, different plans." He remembered. "In trying to find them both, they split up, so that they couldn't be found as easily. Not to mention your mother decided to come to the one place most wouldn't even dream to come to, unless it was for an assassination mission." He glanced over to Kendall. "She dared to enter Mellowbrooks, a known festering town with bloodsuckers in abundance, admit herself into schools here, and even befriend some of the worse of the worse." He breathed. "Heather thought herself clever, and she was until I, on a whim, decided to come here to look, finding her. However, by that time, it was too late. Bringing her back would be impossible, and she was too close with the pures for me to do anything."
"If that's so, how did you force her to marry you?" Kendall wondered. "How did any of this occur?"
"Because, there was a time I cared for and loved your mother, as hard as it is to believe." He responded. Kendall grew shocked by that, although anger started to rise.
"Bullshit." She replied. "That is nothing but a lie and you know it." She glared. "If you had ever loved her, ever, you wouldn't have done what you did….you wouldn't have…" She was fighting back tears.
"Be that as it may, killing your mother was never part of my plans." He confessed. Kendall just stared hard at him. "Whether or not your mother ever loved me, I will never know, but we did get married, and with that had Linnie shortly after." He stated. "I may have stayed because I could not do anything to bring her back, but I was once happy with her. And the fact our first child had no special skill or developments, meant she was normal. Something I also accepted as we lived a simple life, our past secret from Linnie." He added, in a rather neutral, yet Kendall could almost hear a hint of softness in his voice. It was the first time ever. "I can admit, it was a time I was happy, and it seemed your mother was as well." He commented. "However, as time passed and your mother continued her friendships with the pures and more vampires, my distain for them never ceased. In fact it only grew. And having a child with no hunters aspects grew to be troublesome and a mark I disliked." He informed.
Kendall still just had her hard look at him when she heard that comment, while Jackie held Kendall's arm for not only her own comfort, but to comfort Kendall as well. "When we had you, and you immediately reacted at birth to your mother's jewelry which you wear now." He noticed, causing Kendall to grab her necklace. "I knew things would be different." He said. "You were different. You had the skills, even more I saw how you were, how those bloodsuckers reacted around you. Both of you in fact." He mentioned. "I wanted to train you, wanted to develop your traits and skills you possessed. However, your mother…both of them in fact, when you moved into the neighborhood…" He looked at Jackie. "Refused. They utterly shot down the ideas and wanted to keep you girls blinded to the monsters and dangers around you. Not only that, they seemed to want to have nothing to do with the hunters, and raise you both so that pride, our ways, nothing…would never touch you." He was insulted by the idea as he continued. "They wanted to keep you from your potential, from who you could be…even more they wanted to raise you with a sense of not to judge others, and be kind to the blasted bloodsuckers. It was horrific."
Kendall and Jackie hated hearing this. Kendall tightened her fists. "So what…because of that, suddenly your supposed love vanished?" She questioned. "You….you just…"
"My love for your mother vanished in time yes." He responded. "Especially the second you were born and I couldn't raise you the way I wanted. The right way." He told her. Jackie gulped at that, not believing she heard him say that. She glanced at Kendall, who was just staring at him. A look on Kendall's face she never seen before forming. She didn't know if she should call it one emotion or mix thereof, being it looked like she had a few flashes from shock, anger, a deadliness, and something else. Jackie gulped. "It sickened me to no end. Even more, the fact as your mother worked more, plus out of the city, and you began to look more and more like her. It was maddening." He spoke. "Linnie didn't have such a resemblance to Heather, but you….you did." He added, staring more at her. "Even now…it's like….you're a spitting image of Heather, when she was younger…." He glanced away. "Well at least in her facial features and hair style that is…" He added. Kendall glanced down with that, Jackie noticing.
"Even now you still insult her." Jackie commented.
"It's no insult." He corrected. "Just like you practically look like your mother when she was that age…well so I was told." Her eyes went wide with that as Kendall looked up, then at Jackie.
"What….what do you know?" She trembled, holding Kendall more.
"Your father told me practically, if not everything, as he tried to find Angela." He remembered. "Your mother was good at running from him, being that she didn't want to be found by him." He stated. "Although I knew that Heather knew her whereabouts, being how close those two were and they would never stop their communications with one another, no matter how far they were from each other." He figured. "However, I never knew it, as both of your mothers kept that all secret from me, even when Angela came to Mellowbrooks." He told them.
The girls just listened. "However…over time, having to search for your mother so much, only infuriated Larson more, especially because your father grew to despise the human world and the supernaturals all at the same rate." He explained. "He grew an even bigger power complex than I did, wanting to eradicate more than just the bloodsuckers." He shook his head. "He was growing more and more corrupt to the point he got into things I never even heard of in this world having to deal with organizations that were just as corrupt and dangerous as the bloodsuckers, even though they were humans." He let out a breath. "It was….disappointing and concerning, especially as he, himself, became such a blood lusting scoundrel." Jackie gulped, unbelieving what she heard.
Kendall just held her, as Jackie tried to keep it together. "When I was told of the kidnapping of Angela, he was far too gone in the mind and rather power, lust and control, for anyone to do anything, especially when he forced your mother into the marriage." He informed. "I was not surprised Angela was fearful for her life. Larson completely lost it. Lost every sense of himself. He was no longer the friend I knew back at the academy. The friend I grew up with….he was different… lost, in a way and in others gone, never to return. He was…corrupted by this world." He let out another breath, looking down. "I never would have thought that would have happened. But maybe it was to be expected…" He looked up. "We both gave into the corruption of this world…into the corruption of power, humanity and so on…" He closed his eyes. "He just happened to want more than I did, and was willing to do much more than I was." He thought about it. "Although…. I never thought….he would do what he would have done…..the way he did it….especially to Angela…" Jackie's eyes widen with that.
"Was he?" Kendall questioned. He glanced at her. "At that time maybe, but in the end look at what you did…are you two really that different?"
He chuckled. "I suppose…in the end…maybe not." He answered. "Though, my reasons for doing what I did to you were to raise you with a sense to strengthen you up….whether you see that. Whereas he….he wanted utter control and power. To destroy everything, and have only the Hunters rule." He told them. "That makes us slightly different." Kendall stared hard at him.
"That right…" Kendall spoke, not sure how to feel about that response.
"Larson grew to be completely corrupt in what he wanted to accomplish for this world, whereas I at least wanted you to have some strength. No weaknesses." He mentioned. "Considering who you were around…who you both were around. And all the dangers you would face." He continued. "It was my only way to teach you, being you mother never let me. To strengthen you up in many avenues, physically, mentally and more. Given who and what was around." Both girls glared with that.
"However, Larson….we were still close." He admitted. "But the fact he did what he did to Angela…it was still…." He glanced away. Jackie gulped, unsure if she was ready to hear this, as her grip on Kendall tightened even more. Kendall looked at her. "Even I knew, Angela did not deserve such treatment." He breathed. "Considering the torture he put her through, kidnapping and all else. It was deplorable and at the time unimaginable." He closed his eyes as he recalled how he heard about it. "I remember him coming to me, it was a year after he had done the horrific atrocity. He wanted help. Needed help to find her, and that's when I knew he was gone."
Both girls were shocked to hear this, Jackie especially as she just listened. "He told me everything about what happened, how he had Angela, for how long, and suspected she was on the run again." He told them. "Something though, he never said anything about, was you." He glanced at Jackie. Jackie didn't know how to respond to that either, as her pulse was faster than ever, and her grip on Kendall tightening. Kendall looked at her. "He admitted to his deeds, and wanting to have a son with Angela, however of what I gathered..." He continued. "Though maybe the reason he never noticed, never even saw any changes…" He actually let out a breath which surprised both of them when he did that. "Was because he was too far gone in his delusions, too far gone in wanting power and what he did that he couldn't tell. Couldn't see anything really." He admitted. "Not to mention, he…and maybe I as well…had our own pre-assumptions of what a woman is supposed to look like during a pregnancy, plus act like..." He informed. "I suppose neither of us never expected that with your mother." Jackie glanced away then down as she was trying to comprehend and take this all in.
"So….so I really was…my mother….I mean…." Jackie didn't know how to ask this question. She couldn't even look up. Kendall just held her, trying to comfort her.
"I am not surprised that your mother never revealed the truth about the history behind your birth or even how you came about." The way he phrased it, irked her. She clenched her eyes and fists, however she figured how else would anyone phrase it. "Although, personally….I don't know much about what did happen after your mother escaped." He admitted. "If anyone did know it would be Heather. Being that they did keep in contact, and though I tried only a few times before we were married and once during our marriage," He was reminded. "Your mother made it perfectly and utterly clear she would never reveal where Angela was and that I was never to ask or bring it up again." He recalled. "I assume she thought I tell Larson or something. However, your mother was going to protect Angela no matter what." He explained.
"They were best friends, what did you expect?" Kendall inquired.
He chuckled in a small way at that. "I suppose I didn't expect anything." He shrugged. "I must admit though, it's interesting you never asked your own mother these questions after all of this was discovered." He glanced back at Jackie. "Although… I presume with her keeping herself in work, and the fact she might not wish to be reminded of that past, maybe it best." He shrugged. "However, I must admit, the second after…after Heather's….after what I did and that incident…" He breathed again, Kendall and Jackie noticing. "Angela certainly noticed my actions, and made sure to make me aware of her own." He recalled. "She wanted to do all she could in wanting to protect you from me, and made me swear to allow you over to her place or let Jackie over, and not to hurt you so long as Jackie was there." Both girls were shocked to hear this. "Angela was going to do all she could, and pull her rank on me if she could, but we weren't in the society, so it could only go so far." He further explained. "But I did listen…to an extent."
"That's….that's why Jackie was allowed over? Whenever I asked?" Kendall didn't know what to think.
"Of course." He nodded. "Not to mention she was the only friend I approved of." He added. "Unlike those monsters, I know you still hang around with. And one in which you had the audacity to fall for, that filthy pure blood." He shook his head. She glared at him. "I thought I had many things planned out, even with that one cowardly, pathetic blood sucker." He stated, "But unfortunately he screwed up." He rolled his eyes. "Another reason why those mongrels are good for nothings and can't be trusted with anything." He breathed. She just stared harder at him.
"You used Ronaldo, threatened him." Kendall started to have a tone. "How were you able to do that while keeping yourself secret?"
"Simple. I'm powerful enough without stating who I am." He replied. "Plus he really was worthless." He shrugged off. "I thought he would have been perfect for my plan and to manipulate." He stated. "And he somewhat was, even when he was with that other girl who he disgustingly turned." He had a look mixed between disgust and frustration. Kendall was a little shocked when she heard that. "Although, I knew his futile plans to escape with you, but it would never work as I was going to coerce him into going to a prestigious school in England, specifically one close to the academy so I could do something." He admitted. "However, the idiot managed to ruin that, by getting to caught up in his own plans, the London students who I didn't want you near, nor the Twins, and his little fling." He rolled his eyes. "Obviously the pressure was getting to the worthless fool, that he couldn't do a damn thing." Kendall was surprised when she heard this, as was Jackie, as she glanced at Kendall, not believing what she just heard.
"You…you knew he cheated on me, told him to…" She wasn't even sure she was processing this all right. "And even more, you're the one who told him to get me away from the others."
"They all were a threat." He shrugged. "I hated the fact with how close you already were to those filthy pures, why would I want you closer to more disgusting bloodsuckers?" His look and tone were neutral and showed no concern. "And it was a means to an end, especially to get you to the academy and train the way you should. Plus have negative emotions towards monsters." Both girls just glared.
"Means to an end huh?" Kendall repeated. "Doing all of that…"
"The only thing I wasn't counting on, and hated most, was you falling for that filthy, bloodsucking loathsome pure, Clarence Buttowski." He had a disdainful tone and hard disgusted look. "Both of you, falling for such atrocious monsters, it's appalling. And should have never have happened had you been raised correctly." The girls just hardened their looks.
"You don't know anything about them." Kendall defended.
"I know they probably are not as honest with you as you want them to be." He came back, Jackie swallowed with that. Kendall didn't say anything to that. He chuckled. "I'm right…aren't I?" He had a somewhat smug demeanor.
"Like you were any better most of my life?" Kendall had to think of something to counter.
"Oh please…" He rolled his eyes. "You would have known about their identities and their history had I raised you the way I wanted you too. Either of you." He corrected. "And let's be honest here as well…" He added. "You both did not come just for answers about your mothers." He spoke. "You want to know about the world you're actually living in. The one in which you're parents are indeed from a Supernatural Hunters background and Supernaturals exist." He continued. "You want to know about things that obviously are bothering, and these answers you're not getting from your supposed friends." He was still smug which bothered them.
"Something tells me had you had your way at all, with either of us, our points of views would be very narrowed, biased and filled with hate towards those who are actually underserving of it." Jackie came in. He let out a small huff.
"If you say so, though you don't know, being that I don't think you really know your friends so well. Especially those pures of yours." He commented. "Who's to say they're not really the ones you should be weary of as they're the monsters." Kendall rolled her eyes.
"Please the only monster who I have ever faced in life, felt any need to try and prove myself to, when it was not needed, and has always been, and continues to be so, is the person in the cage right now." Kendall stared hard at him. "I shouldn't have had to fight for your love, nor gone through anything you put me through. You shouldn't have hid anything, nor had any horrible, decisive plans." She told him. "So no…they're not monsters. And they never will be." She defended. "Because they'll never put me, nor Jackie, through the pain you put me through." She stated. "And that's what's most important." She turned around to leave. Jackie glanced at her, knowing that took a lot, but also knew that was what she needed to say after all this time. She followed.
He let out a breath. "Kendall…" She stopped short from grabbing the doorknob, her eyes the only looking back at him. "It will never mean much. And I know my fate is sealed." He started. "But I'm glad you were our daughter…my daughter….your strength, intelligence and what you will accomplish….all of you girls. I hope you all will be happy." His voice was very quiet, almost inaudible, soft and serious. He didn't look up from those comments. Jackie glanced again at Kendall, who still didn't fully turn around.
"Good bye father." Kendall uttered those final words as her and Jackie left. The Trenton girls noticed, coming over to them.
"How'd it all go?" Haley asked.
"I think we got mostly what we wanted." Kendall responded.
"Yeah." Jackie was still trying to process it all.
"Can I ask you girls something?" Kendall couldn't help but be curious.
"Of course." Haley smiled.
"When you are done with this paperwork, you said you're taking him." Kendall remembered. "What exactly does that mean, in the sense where are you taking him and what's going to happen?"
"Oh…" Haley knew what she wanting to know.
"Well I mean obviously it means the hunters are going…" Julie started to come in.
"Julie!" Her sister shot her a look and had a tone.
"What?" Julie got a questioning expression, "They want to know." She reasoned.
"Yes, but you don't have to say it like that or so enthusiastically." Her sister deadpanned.
"Oh….right." Julie looked away. Haley rolled her eyes.
"Anyway, answering the questions…" Haley wanted to get back on topic. "It means were going to take him back to the Hunters', which you know, there he will be dealt a punishment, since technically he was charged here, in a sort of special trial." She explained. "Our trials, and any supernatural trial really, tend to be quicker, as we get things done in a more accurate, precise way, and look at things differently, than human proceedings." She continued. "But anyway, his punishment will be handled on our end, and be very…well very swift."
"Swift?" Kendall inquired.
"Well…um…he's not ever coming back…nor going to be….his sentencing is death Kendall." Haley told her. "And there's no way for him to get out of it. It's a….sealed deal." Kendall didn't know what to think of that, she wasn't surprised, wasn't angry, but she couldn't say she was happy either. "When we're done with this paperwork, we leave, and it's done." All Kendall could do was nod.
"Well….thank you I guess…" Kendall finally spoke. Jackie glanced at her. "Can I ask when you're done with your paperwork?" She wondered.
"We're actually almost done." Haley admitted. "Tops will be done by tomorrow morning or night, and then we'll leave the following day…so…it will be all over." Her voice was soft.
"Right, well thank you again." Kendall spoke. "We um…we should be going." She and Jackie started to leave.
"Kendall, Jackie." Haley called. The girls turned. "I know I have probably said this a lot…." She let out a breath. "But if you girls want to talk I'm here, as is my annoying sister."
"Hey!" Julie came in.
"But also if you girls ever, and I do mean ever become interested in your girls history with Hunters or the Academy, we're here too." Haley skimmed over her sister. "We're just here okay, for both of you." She wanted to remind them. "Since I know…a lot of this can be rough."
"Thanks, we'll…we'll take that into consideration." Kendall had a small soft smile. "Although we're still not joining."
"I figured." Haley knew.
"But thanks for the kind words." Jackie also smiled, as both her and Kendall left, giving a final wave. The two made it to the car letting out a breath before Kendall began to drive back to Mellowbrooks.
