Baelon is indeed the heir, his mother became the heir because her father has no sons and is getting more and more unhealthy by the day. Rhaenyra is currently 4, the same age as Baelon.

They do have a more amicable relationship this time around, Vhagar is definitely an option for his dragon. Alyssa does love flying and everything dragon related and honestly Silverwing would be a great fit. I agree, Daemon would force his children to have dragons if they didn't want them. I've actually seen multiple oc and si sons of Rhea and Daemon, I'm actually suprised by how many there are, and have been accused of plagiarism multiple times already. Alyssa is meant to be very smart for her age and spirited, she takes after her father well. Alyssa might like a faster dragon more but I'm sure she'd love flying upon the oldest dragon in the world. Rhaenys took Meleys, his mother's dragon, when he was young, I was trying to imply he thought her a thief for doing so but perhaps it didn't come off well. Thank you.

I'm not sure of the total plan yet but I can assure you that nothing like you asked about will be happening in this story. I plan on Daemon being a mix of the first two with a smidgen of trying not to die thrown in.
