In this season 5 Booth and Brennan love story, Brennan uses the hallucinogenic peyote to explore her feelings for Booth. In a dreamlike-trance so palpable that Brennan is fooled into thinking it is reality, she and Booth begin a "friends with benefits" arrangement. When she wakes up, will she have the courage to act on what she discovers?

These stories are my contributions to the 2020 Winter Holiday Bones Story Challenge. May those who read them gain a little enjoyment and a momentary break from the horrid virus which has affected all our lives this year. Here's hoping the New Year sees it ending soon.

Set during 3x15 the Pain in the Heart where Booth's death is faked. Brennan doesn't take it well, Zack hurts her even more, and it takes every ounce of courage she has to not run for the hills.

After watching "It's a Wonderful Life" with Booth, Brennan has a bizarre dream.

Booth has amnesia and can't remember Brennan or his life together with her. Will he ever remember her again or is it the end for B&B? Set around mid season 9. T Rating.

Booth writes his thoughts to Brennan after he tells her he loves her in a "professional, attagirl kind of way" at the end of episode 5x01 ("Harbingers in the Fountain"). Lots of angst and longing and love from his side of things.

This story will consist of short chapters using a list of words provided by Bonesology for their 2020 Holiday Challenge. I chose short chapters because I know we're all very busy at this time of year. I plan to post a chapter every day.

Takes place immediately following Woman in the Sand. Booth and Bones are staying undercover as Tony and Roxie. Booth is continuing to fight in the underground club to work his way into a much deeper illegal network while Bones digs up more bodies in the desert. Will they be able to keep their cover? Will Booth and Bones get lost in their new identities? Will Booth get in too deep?
