Part of the Bonesology Summer Challenge: take the 100 themes and turn them into story. Here is my solution for the cliffhanger at the end of season 9: Booth has been arrested, Brennan has been detained and the Mighty Hut is no longer so mighty. The writers and producers had their solution, this is mine. Spoilers abound as does speculation.

Hodgins' brother Jeffrey has been murdered to get to him. Booth and Bones assist he and Angela to discover those responsible, but their world could be rocked as they discover many painful truths in their quest to bring the guilty to justice.

What about that dinner Booth scheduled with his friend at the VA? How did Holly find out Brennan's a licensed foster parent? Loosely-connected one-shots set in the It's My Life universe that didn't fit in the story.
