Booth tries to fight the jealousy inside of him when a certain someone tries to ask out Brennan. Will he succeed

Bonesology summer challenge: take 100 words, wrestle 100 stories from them, but the stories are no longer than 300 words each. This will be a romance, a drama, a bit o'fluff, a bit of angst. Many, if not most, of the Bones family will appear because they're needed to sort out this puzzle of a story.

Brennan goes on a date, it goes wrong and she goes to Booth and they work out their relationship…eventually

Booth, down on one knee, proposed to the woman he loved. For the first time in her life, Brennan struggled with the realization that science had failed her. Reason had failed her. If only she was as cognizant of her feelings as the woman was. Hannah always knew and Brennan always fell short. He was out of reach now and she did it by burning her own fingers. (case-fic; slow burn)

There seems to be a misunderstanding in the newly changed relationship between Booth and Brennan. Rated T just to be on the safe side.
