AN: Hey everyone, I have a new series here. So, I have been writing a lot of fanfics for over six years now as a hobby. After my first story, I had this idea to do a massive multiple series crossover with RWBY. However, I did not have the experience or confidence to pull it off at the time. Now, I have done a lot of single crossovers with RWBY, but with time limiting my ability to write more, I cannot do many new stories. So, I decided to make what I will a Sandbox Fanfiction Crossover. In this story, RWBY is the main focal world, but I include any series I want into it in the idea of them arriving for other dimensions. Basically, my personal version of Jump Force with any IP I like at the time. With this, a few things I want to clear up. Power levels mean nothing, as these are all AU versions of the characters, and this series has a world condition that already jumbles abilities and limitation. Basically, it is my perception of the character that determines their strength, how they grow, and how OP they are here. This is my fanfic and this it is how I wish to write it. My focus is not on action, but more interactions with characters in a crossover setting, which is why I like fanfiction. In the end, this series is more for me to vent ideas rather than make constant one-shots that reset elements I have already written before. As for the series you can expect, like I said, anything is possible here. Hope you enjoy this chapter, leave a review with your comments and questions, and have a nice day.
Chapter 1 – Many New Faces
It was midday in Vale as an Atlas Airship hoovered over the kingdom. Inside the vessel waling down one of the long hallways was team RWBY, "So, does anyone remember why we're here?" Yang asked the others.
"This was on Ozpin's order." Blake answered, "He said this was part of a mission we were selected for."
"Sweet, guess this means they're recognizing our skills," Yang responded with a smile.
"Or they realized it's pointless to get people like you and Ruby to pay attention in normal classes," Weiss said with a scowl while the blond brawler chuckled. However, the white heiress looked over to her team leader, who was looking down in confusion, "Are you okay?"
"Huh, y-yeah," Ruby responded.
"Are you sure, you've been cautious the last few days," Blake asked.
"That's not like you," Yang added on.
"Don't worry, it's all good." Ruby said with a smile, but broke eye contact, "It's just…Have you three felt…different lately?"
"Different how?" Weiss asked.
"I don't know…just…something feels…off?" Ruby spoke as she looked down, her friends looking at her in worry, "Like-"
"Your whole world has changed," a mysterious male voice spoke. Ruby looked up in shock to see a tall young man in a deep navy purple attire, including a blindfold over his eyes. His hair was white and spiked, but he had a confident smile on his face, "Well, that's pretty close."
"Wha-" Weiss said in shock. "When did you-"
"Yo," the blindfolded man said with a single wave, "Nice to me, I'm Satoru Gojo." He said before putting his hand in his pocket, "But you can call me your new teacher."
"Eh?" Ruby gasped.
"Ah, I guess that headmaster didn't explain the situation to you." Gojo said before turning around, "Follow me to meet the others."
"But you didn't explain the situation?" Yang asked, but Gojo kept walking. The blond brawler then sighed, she then looked over to Blake, "Hey, did you hear him coming?"
"No," Blake said as she looked back at him, "It's almost like he just appeared out of nowhere." The black cat fauns then looked back to Ruby, "What should we do?" she said with Weiss and Yang looking to their team leader as well.
"We follow him," Ruby said as she walked forward. The rest of her team nodded as they all followed down the hall.
Team RWBY continued to keep up with Gojo until he stopped at a double door. He then opened it with girls meeting three other young adults. One was a man with short black hair and wore what looked like a white shirt and cravat over a thin brown jacket. A brown harness over white pants and leather boots. He was drinking tea but held the cup by the rim instead of the handle. He sat across a man in a black uniform and white hayori with red flame-like ends. His eyes were a burning shade of red and yellow, as was his hair which looked like that of a roaring blaze. In his hands was a boxed lunch, "Tasty," he said after placing a portion of the meal in his mouth with chopsticks, "Tasty!"
"So, the short guy holding the cup wrong is called Levi Ackerman," Gojo introduced, "And the guy with rooster hair is Kyojuro Rengoku."
"Tasty!" Rengoku said as he continued to eat.
"Tsk," Levi scoffed at the comment, then looked over to Blake, who was shivering. He and the others followed her gaze to see the other person eating. He was a young woman with long ice-blue hair and wore a white military attire unlike that of Atlas. She was licking from an ice cream cone, but once she looked at the black cat Faunus, a sadistic smile came on her face.
"Oh, and that's Esdeath." Gojo said with a smile, "I think she's a General or something."
"Blake, calm down," Yang said to her partner, "What's wrong?"
"If I had to guess, your friend is trembling in fear." Esdeath said as she stood up, then looked at the black bow, seeing a slight twitch, "It's an animal's instinct to know when to run from a dangerous opponent. Or, when to attack for its survival."
"Ah, the fight or flight response," Gojo commented as Esdeath approached. She then stood before the black cat Faunus, who still trembled. However, the sadistic general remained poised as she looked down at Blake.
"I-I…" Blake had trouble speaking but then was cut off as Weiss walked between her and Esdeath. The white heiress glared down at the sadistic general with a cold gaze.
"Hm," Esdeath responded with a smirk, then finished off her ice cream.
"Okay, introductions are done for now." Gojo said while patting both Esdeath and Weiss on the backs at the same time, "Now for the first test."
"Right," Esdeath said before crossing her arms, "I assume you told them about the mission."
"They'll learn after the test," Gojo said, causing Esdeath to look at him with half-open eyes, "We've got to pick our favorites, don't we?"
"What are you talking about?" Yang asked.
"Ah yes, picking our students in this world is of the utmost importance!" Rengoku said as he put down the empty boxed lunch.
"Will you just explain what's going on!?" Weiss asked.
"The four of you will be separated," Levi said as he put down his tea. "Each will work under one of us in a new team."
"You want to break up Team RWBY?" Yang asked with her eyes turning red with rage, causing Rengoku to turn towards her, "Not if I have anything to say about it."
"Well, let's make it interesting then," Gojo offered, "If the four of you can beat the four of us, then you can remain as Team RWBY."
"But if you lose," Esdeath added on, "You follow our orders."
"Understood," Ruby said as she spoke for her team, all of which nodded.
"Cool," Gojo said as he clapped his hands, "Let's head to the open arena and settle this," he said with the eight then made their way to their destination. At one end, the four adults stood in a line. On the other, Team RWBY stood at the ready. All four girls readied their weapons, but their opponents remained empty-handed.
"Aren't you going to draw your weapons?" Ruby asked, noticing a long rapier at Esdeath's side, a sheathed Katana at Rengoku's, and thin blades at Levi's waits.
"Nah, all good here." Gojo responded, nothing at his sides at all anyways, "Just tell us when you're ready."
"Uh, okay," Ruby said before turning to her team, "Okay, we should rush one of them as fast as we can. If we do, this becomes a four-on-three."
"Then we win from there, easy," Yang responded.
"We can't underestimate them." Blake said as still tried to steady her breathing, glancing over to Esdeath, "Especially that one."
"You can leave that Ice Queen to me," Weiss commented.
"You mean Ice General," Yang corrected with a smirk, "You're still the Ice Queen." She said with Weiss pouting.
"Okay, ready," Ruby said as she looked back to her team, all of which nodded. Ruby nodded back as they faced their opponents. Yang hit her fists together, igniting her Ember Celica. Blake drew her Gambol Shroud, duel wielding her katana and cleaver. Weiss reposed her Myrtenaster, loading the dust chambers. Ruby readied her Crescent Rose in her Scythe form, forcing on Gojo, who looked on with a smirk, "Now, freezer-" Ruby was saying until getting cut off.
The rest of her team looked to their leader but gasped as Gojo was now behind her. With one flick of his right hand, he stuck the back of the red hooded girl's neck in a chopping motion. Ruby's limp body fell forward, dropping Crescent Rose. Before she could hit the ground, the blindfolded man caught her by the hood. Gojo then looked to the rest of Team RWBY with a smile, causing them to scatter.
Yang jumped back to her left, while Blake went right. Weiss jumped into the air, attempting to land on a black glyph platform. However, the white heiress soon felt a looming shadow overhead. In looking up, she discovered Esdeath glaring down at her with a sadistic smile as she was poised for an axel kick. Yang readied to punch a fire round towards Gojo and Esdeath but felt someone else approaching fast. She turned to discover Rengoku, his focused gaze like that of a tiger. The blond brawler tried to change to a defensive stance, but her opponent reached past her arms, grabbing her neck. Yang gasped for air as she unclenched her fists. Blake panicked as she tried to change her katana into its pistol form. However, she was quickly disarmed of her cleaver. The black cat Faunus turned to discover it was Levi. He took the weapon and spun at high speed. With continuous momentum, Levi jabbed the dull end of the cleaver into the black cat Faunus's stomach.
All at the same time; Gojo tossed Ruby into the air, Esdeath kicked Weiss towards the ground, Rengoku threw Yang to the right, and Levi launched Blake to the left. The four girls all collided midair, falling to the ground in a pile. Each grown in pain before looking up at the four adults, who all gathered to look down on their opponents.
"I think we can call it there." Gojo said with a smile, "We win." He said before kneeing to look at Ruby, "So, you might be wondering why we are this strong out of nowhere." The blindfolded teacher said before smirking, "Or, why do your abilities feel a bit different."
"Y-yeah," Ruby said with a reluctant groan.
"Man, this is weird," Yang added, rubbing her neck.
"My aura, it doesn't feel active." Blake commented, "But if it wasn't, I feel like that should have hurt more."
"The Glyph, making it felt odd that time," Weiss noted before seeing her glyph dissipate.
"I'll keep it short," Gojo responded, "We're all from other dimensions. Each one of us being from a different world than Remnant." He said with Team RWBY gasping,
"How did it happen?" Esdeath spoke.
"Don't know," Gojo answered.
"Can we get back?" Levi added.
"Don't know," Gojo answered.
"What do we do now?" Rengoku added.
"Well, I had an idea." Gojo answered, "It looks like multiple realities have collided. Allowing people of high potential to come here for…some reason. Haven't worked that out yet." He said before smirking, "In any case, some of us have gathered and realized which world we are in." the blindfolded man said as he pointed to Ruby, "Your world."
"Once we realized that, we sought out someone to explain this world to us," Esdeath said, then looked to Weiss, "Which lead us to a Military woman named Winter Schnee." She said with the white heiress gasping.
"Yeah, she was a big help," Gojo added, "Got her higher-ups to lend us the flying fortress as a base and let us contact someone to get some students for our mission."
"That mission is, The Reality Recovery Initiative," Rengoku said with a smile.
"Name pending, I wanted something cooler." Gojo commented, "Basically, we're trying to find as many people as possible that are not from this world so that we can paint the picture of what exactly is going on here." He said before leaning down to look at Ruby directly, "Before that, we need some people from this world to act as a baseline."
"But what does that have to do with our powers changing?" Ruby asked.
"Hm, don't know." Gojo responded with Ruby having half-open eyes, "But, I think it might have to do with the reality of this world falling apart and the inhabitants adapting to the change. That aura, semblance, and dust you use for those cool toys." He said as he smiled, offering him her hand. "Yeah, they mean nothing now as you knew then before."
"You have got to be kidding me," Yang said as she stood up.
"Nope, these are all true," Rengoku answered.
"So, our powers," Blake added as she got up as well. "They're just changing with the world?"
"It also seems to affect the people that have come here as well," Levi added, "Some here are stronger than they were before, while others are weaker."
"And those that refine their skills will adjust to this new world order," Weiss responded.
"Correct," Esdeath spoke, "It is quite literarily survival of the fitness."
"Which means we have to adapt to that." Ruby said as she looked back to Gojo, "And you're going to help us so long as we help you?" she said with Gojo smirking. Despite that, Ruby accepted his hand to lift her, "Okay, we'll follow your orders." She said with a slight scowl, "But, we're still Team RWBY, no matter how you try to separate us."
"Good to know," Gojo said, then turned around, "Now Ruby, you're with me!"
"I'll take the Schnee," Esdeath said as she walked away with her arms crossed, "Winter said she could be a handful."
"Hey." Levi said as Blake turned to him, seeing him passing handing her cleaver back to her, "Let's go." He said before walking away.
"You!" Rengoku said as he looked at Yang, "What is your name?"
"Yang," the blond brawler spoke in slight confusion.
"Perfect, from now on, you will be my student," Rengoku spoke with a smile on his face, "Come, we have much to do!"
Yang was still bewildered but looked back to the others of Team RWBY. Each had a look of worry, but Ruby extended her left hand in a fist and had a smile on her face. The others smiled, before responding in kind, all four of their hands touching. After a moment of silence, they each walked away to follow their new teachers.
Ruby.
Ruby picked up her Crescent Rose and caught up to Gojo, "So, what do we do now?" she asked him.
"Well, you should meet the others of your new team," Gojo responded.
"Others?" Ruby inquired, "This isn't a one-on-one teaching thing?"
"Nope, it seems like your world like to do things in teams of four." Gojo answered, "So, we split our known allies up so that they would get to learn from someone else. As well as be prepared for anyone or anything we go up against." He said with Ruby having a look of confusion, causing his voice to get slightly more serious, "You didn't think only good things came from other dimensions. There are many other monsters in this world far deadlier than Grimm." The blindfolded teacher said with Ruby gasping, "Any more questions?"
"...Why me?" Ruby asked.
"Hm?" Gojo responded.
"Why did you pick me?" Ruby asked again.
"Oh, well," Gojo said as he placed his right hand on his blindfold, "That headmaster said you were born with special eyes."
"I was?" Ruby responded.
"Apparently, but you haven't awakened it yet, and it might not even be what it's supposed to be anymore." Gojo said as he lowered his blindfold, "Still, I kind of know a thing or two about having special eyes." He said as Ruby saw his eyes, gasping at the sky-blue color of them. As Ruby stared at the iris, she felt as though she was gazing into infinity, "So, let's have some fun." He said before pulling his blindfold up, "But first, meet your new friends."
"Huh?" Ruby then looked around, discovering she and Gojo were no longer in the hallway they were walking in before. Rather, they were in a different training arena. She turned to the sound of a monstrous roar. However, the creature making it was not like any Grimm she had ever seen.
It was a massive humanoid being, one with messy brown hair and green eyes. Its jaw was jagged, but its roar echoed through the area, "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAA!" the monster roared as it reeled its arm back for a punch.
Ruby looked to be this attack was heading, realizing it was aimed at a young woman. She had long blond hair and blue eyes. Her attire was a white sleeveless long coat with black pants and boots. Her right arm was reeled back for a punch as well, but as the fists collided, it was the monsters that were blown back and obliterated. The red hooded girl gasped at the sight, seeing the woman's arm equipped with a type of gauntlet.
"Wow!" Ruby said in awe.
"Yeah, that girl is-" Gojo said with a smile but stopped as Ruby sprinted away, leaving rose petals behind.
The young woman resumed her fighting stance as the monster's arm started to regenerate. However, the two stopped as Ruby stood between them, "That's such a cool gauntlet," the red hooded girl said in amazement, "Its sphere knuckle must maximize damage in each punch, so cool!" she said while examining the weapon from every angle, "It can be very hard to manage, but the power increase must be huge."
"Uh, thanks, it is." The blond woman responded.
"Does it have a name? What do you call it?" Ruby fanatically asked, "And can my sister try it on?"
"Uh, it's called Crushing King." The blond woman responded, "And, I don't think that's wise, this weapon is really hard to use correctly without practice."
"I see," Ruby said before realizing something else, causing her to gasp again, "I'm sorry, I asked for the weapon's name before your name."
"It's okay," the crushing woman responded with a chuckle and a smile, "My name is Cornelia, but you can call me Cora." She then looked up to the monster she was fighting, "Let's call it for right now, okay."
Ruby then looked back to the monster as well, who leaned his head forward. She then gasped as steam radiated from the nape, followed by a person. It was a young boy around her age. He also had short brown hair and green eyes, a more human face than the monster did. The attire he wore was the same as Levi's but had on a faded yellow shirt underneath, "Right." He said before scaling down the monster's arm to meet the others, "Hello, I'm Eren Yeager." He said with his right hand over clenched his heart, his left hand behind his back.
"Same, I'm Ruby Rose." The red hooded girl introduced, then looked at the monster's body start to fully disintegrate, "So, how do you do that?"
Suddenly, Gojo spoke as he stood behind the red hooded girl, "Maybe some other time," he said with Ruby gasping again at his sudden appearance, "All you need to know is that it is called a titan." The blindfolded teacher said before pointing to Eren, "But for him, that version is called the Attack Titan."
"Oh…Okay," Ruby responded.
"Trust me, trying to memorize all this stuff will just give you a headache." Cora added with a smile, "All that matters is we understand each other enough to work together as a team."
"Right, I guess that makes sense." Ruby said before looking around, "But, I thought you said there would be four of us?"
"Oh, he's right there." Eren pointed in the distance with half-open eyes.
Ruby turned to discover a young man in a black uniform and yellow and orange hayori with triangles. His hair was also yellow and orange. He appeared to be hiding atop a tall structure, tears in his eyes, "No, this isn't fair." He spoke in a wining voice, "I already had to deal with demons, but now giant naked people who want to eat me as well!?" he continued to cry, the katana in a white sheath at his side, "That's it, I'm done! This isn't fair!"
"He's Zenitsu," Cora spoke, "He's a bit of a crybaby"
"Give him time," Gojo responded, "I think he's got a lot of potentials." He said before turning to the others, "All of you do, which is why I picked each of you for this team." The blindfolded teacher said before walking away, "Once I have a mission ready for you, it will be a chance to prove yourselves. Until then, you should enjoy each other's company."
Ruby then nodded before looking back to Eren and Cora, "…So…" Ruby said as an awkward silence fell over the area, "…"
"…" Eren also remained silent.
"…You hungry?" Cora offered, "I was just about to make a meal after that workout."
"Yeah," Ruby said with a smile, "I can help cook too."
"Good," Cora said before looking off to Zenitsu, "Hey, you want to eat too?" she said but was only answered with more whimpering, "He'll eat later," Cora said before walking away, soon followed by Eren and Ruby. Out of sight of them, Gojo watched with a smile before walking away again.
Weiss.
Weiss continued to follow Esdeath down the halls, "So, you met my sister?" she asked the sadistic general.
"Yes, a rather admirable military personal." Esdeath responded, "I much prefer her over that other General." She then turned to Weiss with a smile, "She was understanding of the unique situation before her, and knew it was better to work with us than against us."
"I see," Weiss answered, then had a look of focus, "Would you have fought her if she tried to fight back?"
"Of course, that would only be a natural response to such an action." Esdeath said before having a cold smile on her face, "Except, I'm confident I would kill her."
"Tsk!" Weiss said as she was about to draw her Myrtenaster but stopped herself.
"Oh, why did you stop?" Esdeath asked with Weiss having a look of confusion, "Are you afraid I will kill you? Or do you not wish to attack a higher office out of your pride." she said before smirking, "Then I will give you the same order I gave the others." The sadistic general said as she drew a long rapier, "Attack me as if your life depends on it!" she then trusted her blade towards Weiss.
Weiss drew her rapier to parry the attack but was forced to jump back to avoid a follow-up. The white heiress responded by creating a glyph to launch a pillar of ice. However, Esdeath responded by instantly creating a larger pillar of ice to block the attack, "What!? How could she-" Weiss questioned as Esdeath dashed in, the white heiress unable to block this incoming attack.
However, someone dashed from behind her at high speed. She only caught a glance as the young woman pass by. She wore the same uniform as Levi, but with a red scarf around her neck instead. Her hair was a short silky black, and she had a small horizontal scar on her cheek under her right eye. Her weapon was a set of thin blades that clashed with Esdeath's rapier. The two were pushed back as the girl with the scarf landed near Weiss.
"Who are-" Weiss was saying until she recalled what Esdeath had just told her, "Then I will give you the same order I gave the others." She realized before looking back to Esdeath.
The sadistic ice general readier for another assault, but then glanced to the ice pillar nearby. Though the image was blurry, she saw someone's position reeled back to punch the ice pillar. Esdeath jumped just before her body would have been crushed against the ice and the opposite wall. In looking at the attacker, she witnesses a young man with spiked pink hair. his outfit was like Gojo's, but he had on a red hood and matching sneakers.
Esdeath was about to launch a new pillar of ice toward this opponent. However, a fourth induvial attacked. This one was a young girl with a pink kimono and red checkered band. She had long black hair with orange ends that looked like fire. Her eyes were a focused pink with vain pulsating on her forehead, and a bamboo muzzle in her mouth. Her body was reeled back for a kick, but Esdeath blocked with her blade to send her flying back. The sadistic ice general skidded on the back of her heels before coming to a stop, while the girl landed on her feet near the brawler.
"Yes," Esdeath said as she looked at the four with a sadistic smile, "The four of you will be my team, but I cannot tolerate any weakness!" She said while readying her rapier to attack.
However, she was stopped as Gojo held her right shoulder, "Hey now, let's take it easy on them." He said with Esdeath scowling at him, "I don't want you killing off any students on the first day." The blindfolded teacher said with a smirk, "Even if you do have death in your name."
"Tsk," Esdeath scoffed before sheathing her weapon, "Fine, the four of you can rest before we leave on our first mission." She walked away before giving an icy glare to Gojo, who responded with a smirk. The blindfolded teacher then turned back to the others.
"So, you can get to know each other now," Gojo said before looking at the boy with the red hood, "Also Yuji, you can tell them that you are Sukuna's vessel. I don't think it matters."
"Uh okay," Yuji said before he turned back to the three girls, "Hello, my name is Yuji Itadori. And yeah, I'm the vessel for Sukuna."
"Who?" Weiss asked.
"The King of Curses." Gojo answered before waving, "Bye now."
"What? That doesn't sound good." Weiss asked but Gojo did not answer.
"It's okay, I have him suppressed it for the moment," Yuji responded.
"For the moment?" Weiss commented, "Anything else we should know about you?"
"Well," Yuji spoke while thinking of what to say next, "I'm into girls like Jennifer Lawrence. You know her?"
"…. You're from another dimension," Weiss said with half-open eyes, "How could I know her?"
"Oh, good point," Yuji responded.
"You have got to be kidding me." She said before feeling someone tug at her jacket. She turned to see it was the girl in the pink kimono, whose face was much calmer now, "Oh, I almost forgot you? What's your name?"
"Hmm," the girl in the pink kimono spoke, but her voice was muffled by the bamboo in her mouth, "Hmm."
"… What?" Weiss commented.
"Her name is Nezuko Kamado." Yuji answered, "At least that's what her brother told me." He said as he patted her on the head, "Oh, and she's a demon. But the good kind. Not like Sukuna, but he is technically a curse, not a demon, but kind of the same thing."
"Hmm," Nezuko said with a nod.
"…" Weiss closed her eyes as she thought to herself, "Am I cursed to always have the weirdest teammates." She thought before opening her eyes, then sighed, "Okay, that's fine. My name is Weiss Schnee." The white heiress sighed before seeing the girl with the scarf sheath her blades, "Hold on, what's your name?"
"Mikasa Akerman." The girl with the scarf said, her voice somewhat deadpan.
"Akerman?" Weiss said before recalling that name before, "Are you and Levi re-"
"No," Mikasa responded, "I don't care for Captain Levi," She said before looking down the hallway, "Or General Esdeath." She said before walking away, "I need to check on Eren."
"Who?" Weiss asked.
"I think that's her brother or stepbrother?" Yuji responded, "Someone she cares for."
"Hmm," Nezuko nodded.
Mikasa continued to walk away before, she was stopped by Weiss, "Out of my way." Mikasa asked in a cold voice.
"No, of these three, you seem the most normal," Weiss said in a raised voice, "I need to talk with someone with common sense here!"
"Hey," Yuji spoke in offense to that.
"Hmm," Nezuko added as well.
"…" Mikasa looked at the two before turning back to Weiss, "Fine, let's go." She said with Weiss smiling before the two walked away.
"Hmm!" Nezuko growled as her eyes flared for a second but were then calmed as she was patted on the head.
"Don't worry, you and I can hang out, even if you can't talk," Yuji said with a smile as he patted her head, "I get it, I know I guy who only can talk in onigiri ingredients."
"Hmm?" Nezuko said with a head tilt, thinking Weiss may have had a point with her prior comment.
Blake.
Blake followed Levi as they walked down the halls, "The four of you will have individual rooms, but you will all share a combat arena in this section of the airship." Levi instructed, "That is where they are right now." He then looked back to the black cat Faunus, "Also, you will address me as Captain Levi." He said before a sigh, "Even though these aren't the scouts I'm used to seeing."
"Understood," Blake responded, but looked down, "Uh, Captain Levi?"
"What is it?" Levi responded.
"Why did you pick me," Blake asked, "My friends are a lot stronger than I am." She said before recalling her trembling from the pressure of the sadistic ice general, "And they weren't scared of her like I was."
"…" Levi sighed, "If you're afraid of dying, it means you value life. But if you run away, it means you value survival and only your survival." He said with Blake looking back at him, "You didn't run, that is why I picked you."
Slowly, a smile formed on Blake's face, "Thank you," she said with a slight bow. The two continued down the hall before reaching a large double door, "Must be the training arena." Blake thought as her fist became clenched, "This time, I'll show him what I am truly capable-" the black cat Faunus said as she handed a broom, "Eh?"
Levi opened the doors to show a young man whipping the floor with a rag. He wore a black uniform and a green checkered hayori and he wore a set of hanafuda earrings. His hair was a ruffled black with burgundy tips, but on his forehead was a type of bloodstained scar over his left eye, "I'm about halfway done with cleaning the floor, Captain Levi."
"Hm," Levi then knelt, running his index finger across the floor. A squeaking sound was heard before he examined his figure, discovering no dirt on it at all, "Very good, but I gave you three enough time to clean more than half of the floor." He said before standing up, "Where are the others." He said before a drop of water fell on his head.
In looking up, the trio saw a girl auburn in a ponytail. She had on a tank top with shorts and leggings with ankle bands, "Hey." She said while hanging from a ceiling light, then let go of it to drop down, "You must be the last girl, I'm Poney." She said before putting the wet white towel over her right shoulder.
"Why were you up there?" Blake asked.
"He said to clean this place top to bottom." Poney said as she pointed to Levi, then to the boy with the scar, "So, he did bottom, and I did top."
"I don't think it was meant to be taken that literally." Blake said, but Levi did not correct her.
"What about Nobara?" Levi asked, "What did she clean?"
"Uh," the boy with the scar said before his eyes glanced to the right. Blake and Levi looked over to witness a girl sitting in chair as she looked at a scroll device. She had mid-length orange-like hair in with bangs. Her attire deep navy-purple skirt and jacket with leggings and brown loafers, "She said she didn't feel like cleaning and wanted to look up what kind of stores were in the kingdom nearby."
"Is that so," Levi said before glaring at the two girls, then turned back to the boy with the scar, "Introduce yourself to your new teammate" He said before walking away, "I need to have a chat with her in private."
"Understood," the boy with the scar said as he looked at Blake, then bowed, "Hello, I'm Tanjiro Kamado." He said before something caused him to sniff the air, "Uh, this may be an odd question, but do you have a cat on you?"
"Not exactly. My name is Blake Belladonna," She said before loosening the bow on her head, revealing her cat ears, "And I'm a Faunus, which gives me an animal trait."
"Amazing," Tanjiro said in awe.
"Neat," Poney said with her arms crossed, "Do you like tuna?"
"Poney, you can't just assume that because-" Tanjiro said in slight offence.
"Actually, I do." Blake cut him off.
"Oh," Tanjiro said with Poney smirked, "I'm sorry."
"It's okay," Blake said with a slight chuckle in her voice, "Still, you could tell something was off just by my scent."
"Yeah, I kind of have a strong sense of smell," Tanjiro said as Levi walked over.
"Nobara will help you clean in a bit," Levi said before tossing Tanjiro a small hammer, "Please wash her weapon." he said while continuing to walk away, "I'm going to see what other rooms need dusting."
"Yes sir," Tanjiro said before something caught his scent. He, Poney, and Blake looked down at the hammer, seeing multiple bloodstains on it. Their eyes widened before looking at each other in shock, then looked back to their team leader, "Captain Levi is dangerous." Tanjiro said with Blake and Poney nodding.
Yang.
"We will be our training arena," Rengoku spoke, "There, you can meet the rest of your team before breaking to eat."
"Weren't you just eating before that fight?" Yang commented then sighed, "So, why again did you pick me?"
"I can tell those who have a burning passion inside them to protect others." Rengoku responded, turning to Yang with a smile, "With my help, I hope to set your heart ablaze."
"Heh, have you seen my emblem?" Yang responded with a smirk.
"Hahaha," Rengoku laughed, then approached a door. "Allow me to introduce your team!" in opening the door, revealing two individuals in the middle of a sparring match. While both had black hair, one was a girl with long black hair and red eyes, wearing a white sleaves top and skirt. She wielded a dummy sword as her other had wooden batons to block the strikes. He had short spikey hair and navy-blue attire like Gojo's, "They are Akame and Megumi, your new teammates."
"Cool, but I thought there were three others?" Yang asked, causing her to look around. She then discovered looked over at a girl with blue eyes and short blond hair that was folded in the back. She wore the same uniform as Levi, but with a white hood instead. She stood with her fists up, striking a punching bag.
"She is Annie Leonhart," Rengoku spoke, "Please introduce yourself to her."
"Sure," Yang said as she walked over to Annie, who remained focused on the punching bag, "Sup, I'm Yang, the final teammate here I guess." She said with Annie not noticing her, "You know, I can help you spare if you want?" the blond brawler asked with Annie still quiet, "…I'll take that as a yes." Yang said with a smirk as she went for a punch to the back of Annie's head. However, the female fighter dodges out of the way, causing the punch to collide with the punching bag instead, "That got your attention."
"Leave me alone," Annie asked.
"Nope, you and I are on the same team now," Yang said before hitting her fists together, "So get used to me." She said with Annie scowling. The female fighter took a half step forward with her left leg. The heel of her right leg was slightly lifted off the ground. She raised her hands to eye level, slightly closing them into fists, "Okay, now we're talking." The blond brawler rushed in with a flurry of punches. The female fighter bobbed out of the way of the attacks. However, Yang rushed in and was now in range for a right hook, a smirk on her face.
Annie then glared up at the blond brawler. She then took a slight step forward with her right leg, sending her left leg into the side of Yang's right knee. From the sudden pain, Yang's stance faltered, and her attack was interrupted. Annie then grabbed her opponent's right arm, pulling her in for a grapple. The female fighter placed her head under and behind Yang's right armpit. Annie grabbed her right wrist with her left hand at Yang's left shoulder. As Annie's left leg moved behind Yang's legs, the blond brawler's body was lifted into the air. In a split second, Yang slammed into the floor, her throat pressed under the force of Annie's armlock.
"Very impressive," Rengoku commented from afar, "Yang, how will you get out of this one?"
"Damnit, I am not getting chocked out again!" Yang thought as she was reaching her last breath, then fired a blast from her left Ember Celica into the floor. The recoil jutted her and Annie, loosening the grip on the armlock. Yang slipped out as she aimed her weapon at Annie's body. However, the female fighter dodged the shots. She then reeled back her left leg before kicking Yang, the heel of her boot digging into just below the blond brawler's throat. Yang flew back a few feet, landing on her back. As Yang pushed herself up, Annie was already in the same stance she was at the beginning of the fight.
Rengoku watched as Akame and Megumi had finished their sparring, walking over to witness the fight, "This must be the new member, she looks like Cora." Akame spoke as Yang rushed Annie with a right jab, but Annie dodged. Yang's eyes began to turn red as she unleashed a flurry of punches, but none connected. In an opening between the punches, Annie's eyes focused. She ducked a right cross before unleashing a left punch. The female fighter's fist collided with Yang's lower jaw on the left side. Yang felt a loud clank in her mouth as she recoiled from the strike. She then turned to see Annie pivoting was a counterclockwise spin, unleashing a vicious left elbow into Yang's nose. The blond brawler shut her eyes from the pain, her nose profusely leaking blood. Annie then moved to Yang's right side, sweeping her legs from behind. The blond brawler landed on her shoulder blades, her nose blood spilling into her eyes. Yang opened her eyes, a red rage glowing in the irises. Her blond hair began to glow as she pushed herself up, but Annie resumed the same stance at the beginning of the fight.
"But she has the fighting style of Yuji," Megumi commented, "Meaning Annie will win." Yang rushed the female fighter again, unleashing a burning right hook. Annie dodged the punch and grabbed the right arm again. This time, Yang readied for the grapple. However, Annie pulled back on the right arm, throwing the blond brawler off balance. Annie then let go of the arm and placed both hands on the back of Yang's head. She then reeled back her left leg before thrusting her knee upwards. "That technique Annie uses, it doesn't matter how strong the opponent is. Because she uses their strength against them." At the same time as that comment, Annie pulled Yang's head down, ramming her face into the knee with destructive force. As Annie let go, Yang stubbled back a few feet, her vision blurry. Upon refocusing, Yang saw Annie in the stance again, already in motion for a right kick to the head. The blond brawler felt the boot slam into her left ear, sending her body a few feet into a nearby wall. As bounced off the wall, Annie continued the momentum to unleash a left straight kick into Yang's abdomen. The blond brawler gasped for air as she wheezed in pain.
As Annie removed her foot, Yang fell to her knees. The female fighter looked down at her open before turning around and walking away, "Hey!" Yang called out to Annie, "We're not done yet!" The blond brawler got back on her feet, her breathing heavy before as she held up her fist. Annie turned back around, her eyes devoid of emotion, as she assumed her stance from the beginning of the match.
"Maybe you should call if for now." Akame spoke up, "It's almost dinnertime."
"Just a few more minutes," Yang responded, still focused on the fight, "I'm about to knock that smug lock off her face." The blond brawler then rushed forward to try and hit Annie, "And maybe I'll fix that nose in the process!" Yang shouted as tried to land a left cross. However, Annie ducked as maneuvered behind her opponent. With her right hand, she grabbed a chunk of Yang's hair, then kicked the blond brawler in the back, ripping the locks out of her head. Yang stumbled forwarded as she held the back of her head. She then looked back to see Annie in the same stance. However, the lock of hair was in her right fist, and her eyes were full of murderous intent. Yang gritted her teeth, her eyes matching that level of hate.
With a reveres blast of Ember Celica, Yang launched herself towards her opponent. She saw her right fist come within a few centimeters of Annie's face. However, the female fighter's eyes focused again. She moved out of the way of the attack faster than the others, getting behind Yang. With the lock of hair, she coiled it around the blond brawler's neck. Annie then grabbed the other end with her left hand and pulled. She then delivered a left knee into Yang's back, forcing the blond brawler to her knees. With the hair acting like fiber wire, Yang's started to chock again. She tried to grab the hair with her fingers, but the threads already dug into her neck. She tried to blind fire with Ember Celica, but her hits continued to miss. Slowly, Yang's motions slowed as her eyes closed, then lost consciousness.
A while later.
"…Uh…" Yang slowly awakened to find herself at a lunch table. She was sitting across from Akame and Megumi, and Annie. All of them looked at her with half-open eyes, "Hey," The blond brawler said with a half-smile, then turned to the female fighter, "Sorry about before, lost a bit of my composure there." Yang said her head lowered, "But, please don't pull my hair again."
"Don't make fun of my nose either, then were square," Annie responded.
"Deal," Yang said with a slight chuckle, then looked back to the other two, "I'm Yang by the way, your new teammate." She said before scratching the back of her head, "I'm usually better at first impressions."
"Akame, a member of the Seven Elites of the Capital," the red-eyed girl said.
"Megumi Fushiguro, first-year sorcerer at Jujutsu High School," the black-haired student said, "Even though that doesn't matter now."
"Well, I guess we can think of this as high school right now." Yang responded as a smile formed, "So, let's make sure we have some fun." She said with all three looking at her with a deadpan expression, "…Boy, tough crowd."
"Sorry. We're each still missing people from our worlds." Megumi responded. "I'm still searching for the second-year students from my school."
"Most of the other Elites from my team are missing," Akame spoke with her eyes filling with remorse, "And my sister."
"Oh," Yang said before looking to Annie, "What about you?"
"My dad, if he is here." Annie responded, "And…maybe one other person."
"I see," Yang said before hitting her fist together, "Then you can count on me to help." She said before seeing a waiter bring over a plate of steaks, "But first, let's eat!" she said before she was about to dig in. However, she looked over to the other teammate's plates. Annie and Megumi had normal proportions, but Akame's plate was full of meat much higher than her body mass.
"…What?" Akame said before picking up the plate, allowing the meat to slide down the plate and into her mouth.
"…" Yang looked on with shock, as did the other two.
AN: There you go, a lot of new series here. To quickly recap, you saw Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, and Akame ga Kill here. While I have written the last already, this is more with the Zero prequel cast, hence while Akame is in white. Jujutsu is one of my favorite new series out there, I just had to write Gojo because of how OP he is. The trio is here too with Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara to have fun. But like with all the series here, the teams are now jumbled a bit to make things interesting. On the Attack on Titan side, we have Levi with Eren, Mikasa and Annie around all in pre basement time, (Sorry Armin). I have done some stuff with this series before, but nothing that stuck for long. Demon Slayer is also great with its cast here, including Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Zenitsu, (Boar head will have to wait for now). I also have Rengoku here, as I really like this character a lot. Finally, with Akame ga Kill Zero, I of course have prequel Akame here, but also have Cornelia, (Who is basically more Yang than Leone is) and Poney. However, rather than their father, (Who looks like Qrow) I descried to make it Esdeath here because…. she's cool. Like I said, this story is more a sandbox that a fanfic like my others. There is a plot, but I more want to just have this be a casual series were I have a new character come in to show off their skill, then keep in the backdrop until I need them again. This is how I can condense all the idea I have so that I can put them out for you to read and me to let leave my head. That is all for now, thanks for reading, and hope to see you in the next chapter.
