Wow. it's been a while since I last typed up something. That shows my
laziness. Anyway, onwards with the story that remains plot-less!!
Kenji rolled over, the curtain's letting in the morning light. He squinted a bit, and sat up, still in a hazy daze. He rubbed his eyes trying to get them in focus, "W-what time is it.?" He mumbled, looking down at the clock. "I. Oh great." He mumbled, "I'm going to be late." But apparently, he was too tired to care. A few noises stomping up the stairs, then the door swung open.
"KENJI!! WAKE UP ALREADY!!" Yugo cried, hoping he at least scared Kenji into waking up. At least it worked; Kenji was hanging off the side of the bed, wide eyed.
"You know, I WAS getting out of bed, Yugo." He yawned, slightly covering himself from the draft. "And not to mention getting undressed so I may get into my uniform." He looked over to the side and held up his pants, "See?"
"You know, you have only a bit of time to get to school." Yugo said, arching an eyebrow.
".what." Kenji mumbled, freezing in his spot.
"Kenji, c'mon now. Hurry up." Yugo nodded his head, "You can still make it if you run." Yugo turned to leave Kenji in privacy.
'Yugo seems to be acting. a bit strange. Perhaps I should watch his actions more accurately so I can figure out what is the matter with him.' Kenji thought as he slid on his pants. He then quickly jerked on his shirt (C'mon people, I'm not going to get into detail about his dressing, all right?! ._.) and ran down the stairs.
"All right Kenji, go on." Yugo held out breakfast to him, and yet at the same time held the door open.
"Er. I'll just go now." Kenji nodded his head, picked up his book bag and uncomfortably stepped outside. 'Yugo was anxious to get rid of me.' He shook his head, 'No, no. M-maybe he just wants me to get to school in time?' Kenji was at the edge of their property. where he saw the murder. 'It's the peak of day, so am I going to die?' He taunted in his mind. He then looked about, 'Well? Any- where's that pool of blood? That figure. landed here when they were stabbed. maybe clues were left behind?' He looked about, wondering if he looked suspicious or just plain stupid, looking at their lawn. 'What's this.?' Kenji slightly let out his hand, and touched an odd, discolored puddle that remained. "Blood." Kenji murmured, turning his head about, looking for anybody watching him. "And another. the dew didn't wash this part?" Kenji got on all fours, now most definitely looking stupid.
"Kenji what the hell are you doing?" Came Yugo's voice from behind.
"Gah." Kenji mumbled slightly, not expecting to hear Yugo's voice. He stood up, wiping off traces of grass and dirt.
"You should be at school already, what're you doing here?" Yugo asked, leaning over the patch Kenji had been examining. "Why were you looking here?"
"I-it's nothing. I dropped my." Kenji couldn't think of anything. 'Time for drastic measures.' He thought, looking about. He looked down, and while Yugo wasn't looking, he ripped off a button from his shirt and threw it somewhere in the grass (o.o That's drastic?). "I've lost my button." He said, pointing to his chest where the button 'fell off'.
Yugo sighed, "Well. looks like you're going to be late. c'mon Kenji. Let's get you a different shirt." Yugo sat up, and began to walk to the house.
"O-oh no! I can find my shirt by myself! I'm in no condition where I need help dressing myse-" Kenji was then cut off.
"Come now Kenji." Was all Yugo murmured. He then walked into the house, making Kenji feel uncomfortable.
'It's like Yugo's giving off a miasma.' Kenji thought, holding his hand up to his face. 'Something's going on. and I'm caught in the middle of it.' Kenji walked up to the front door; the whole house had an ominous feeling and look to it. He opened the door, and peeked inside, "Yugo.? Where'd you go?" He asked, reaching for the light switch. He flicked it on, but nothing gave off a light. "Yugo!" He yelled, shutting the door behind him as he walked in.
"Kenji." Came a voice, though Kenji wasn't too sure it was Yugo's, or even a male's voice.
'What the.?' Kenji thought, looking around, goosebumps crawling up his spine.
"Kenji." It repeated.
"Yes?" Kenji asked, wondering if he was on the brink of insanity. 'Maybe. I'm going crazy? Perhaps the stress of the test has put me in an emotional state of a temporary psychotic state.'
"Kenji." It repeated, growing on his nerves.
"What already?" He mumbled. (-.- Oh yes, you can tell he's scared out of his mind.)
"Turn around." It murmured.
"What?" He asked, not paying attention to it because he figured it would only repeat his name.
"Turn around." It was definitely a girl's voice now.
"A-all right." He said, knowing it was a bad idea. He turned around, ever so slowly, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw a figure looming over him. "What?!" He cried, dodging out of the way. "Yugo?! What's going on?" He asked, only seeing Yugo's outline.
"Come." Yugo extended his arm an hand, "Now."
"Make me." Kenji said, apparently being a smart ass now that he was on alert. He wasn't in his best state of mind, and his choices of words would lead him to a negative outcome.
"Fine then." Yugo said, lifting a blunt object over his head.
"Y-Yugo?" Kenji asked. But that's all he could let out. Yugo had swung down on Kenji's body and head with a mighty force. Kenji slumped onto the ground, while Yugo nodded his head and turned around, walking away.
"And he listened to disembodied voices. this was easy." Said the female's voice.
"Yes." Came Yugo's, "Let's start to carry on business."
