After the defeat of Calamity Ganon, Zelda united the people of the ruined Hyrule and spent three years restoring the land and bringing the kingdom back to life. During that time, Zelda asked Link to marry her after revealing to him that she loved and needed him. Once Hyrule was revived, Zelda was crowned queen and once she married Link soon after, he was made her consort because Link felt more comfortable with helping Zelda rule than ruling himself. For the following year, Zelda began to improve Hyrule by starting villages and towns until there were plenty more than there were before the Great Calamity. She also decided to seal away the guardians and divine beasts because the guardians ended up broken after being controlled by Ganon for one hundred years and the divine beasts shut down after using most of their power from Ganon's control and the last of it by the champion spirits to attack Ganon. After everything was good enough, Zelda did everything in her power to make sure Hyrule would stay safe and peaceful while Link did everything he could to help her.

One night, two years later, things seemed peaceful in the castle that had been rebuilt in a better form than from before it's destruction until Zelda, woke up from a pain caused by a pregnancy she had gained eight months prior.

"Link, get up," Zelda shouted while shaking her husband.

"Zelda," said Link with some drowsiness, "Why are you waking me?" "And in this hour?"

"The baby is coming," explained Zelda, "I need you to wake the castle staff now."

Link, understanding the situation got over his drowsiness, quickly got out of bed, and woke up the people in the castle telling them that Hyrule's heir to the throne was ready for birth. Minutes later, Zelda was taken to the infirmary to begin the birthing. Zelda followed the instructions given to her by the doctor while Link was at her side the entire time.

"Well Your Majesty," said the doctor twenty minutes later, "You now have a lovely daughter."

"Thank you for helping me Doctor," said Zelda after the baby was born, "But why do I feel no different?"

"It appears that you have twins," said the doctor answering the question. "Don't worry we'll get the other one born soon."

"I'm surprised that we'll have two kids but I know you can handle this twice," said Link to Zelda while he was given the first baby.

"Thanks for the vote of confidence Link," thanked Zelda and she started going through the process again.

After about ten minutes, the second baby was born and just like the first baby, it was a girl.

"I'm glad that's over," said Zelda while holding the newly born second daughter, "Now we should give our daughters names and then try to return to sleep for the rest of the night."

"Aren't we going to name them Zelda," asked a confused Link, "I thought that was a tradition for the royal family to name daughters that."

"I never liked or understood that," explained Zelda, "And with Hyrule revived, I think we should stop doing that and start fresh." "Besides, they don't seem like my name could fit with them."

"Then how about this," suggested Link, "Right before you woke me, I was having a dream." I can't remember much of it but it seemed to have a connection to Korok Forest and for some reason it brought up a name of someone." "I forgot the name but there are two names that make me think of it and they are Sara and Aria."

"I see," said Zelda, "In that case, we'll name our first daughter, who will be the crown princess, Sara and our second daughter Aria."

During the rest of the night, the news of the birth of Princess Sara and Princess Aria went through the entire castle and by the time morning came, it was only a matter of time until all of Hyrule learned of it. With a restored kingdom and new family, Zelda felt happy and excited for what the future would have.
