Foreword.
We all know that the life of a demigod is dangerous. Terrifying. They must constantly look over their shoulders to avoid being horribly and painfully killed. And when you have nowhere to go, when there is no place where you can be safe, that danger only becomes greater.
That is the case with one of those demigods. His name is Percy. From the fateful day when he turned twelve, he was forced to be homeless for years. Unaware of the cruel world in which he inhabited. A world full of ancient Greek gods, mythological monsters and creatures that lurk in the darkness of the most common places, waiting to have a piece of it.
But even in the darkest place, you can still find a small ray of light. A hope. For Percy, that hope takes the form of a ten-year-old girl, Sammy, a very special mortal.
Luke, son of Hermes, joker and brave, always willing to never give up.
Thalia, daughter of Zeus, defiant and bold, ready to kill any monster that tries to harm those she loves.
And Annabeth, daughter of Athena, smart and fearless, who sees Thalia and Luke as her family.
Together, they will travel the country facing monsters and gods. During their travels, their bond will become stronger, coming to form what they thought it had lost; a family.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to a new JkAlex story!
On this occasion, I have decided to meddle in the world of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. For those who have already read my Attack on Titan story, you will know what kind of writer I am. And for those of you reading a story of mine for the first time, let me clear up a couple of things before we get started.
First, don't expect my story to focus solely on Percy.
Yes, he is the main character. And history would not be the same without him. But Percy is not the only interesting character, the book is full of dozens of them. That is why, even if Percy is the protagonist and his presence will be very important in the story, the plot will not revolve only around him.
Second, if you expect this book to be about a Percy Mary Sue, or a Percy drowning in his own pain and misery, then stop reading right now. I'm tired of the stories of Percy being betrayed and leaving camp, of Percy too wrapped up in his own grief that he walks away from everyone and ends up joining the Hunt, either because Annabeth died and betrayed him in some way.
So I've decided to do something different. I will start the story from the beginning, something that few have dared to do. And I will develop the story in my own way. Do not expect powers taken out of nowhere just for the sake of it, and that from one chapter to another, Percy is able to defeat an Olympian. I will try to make my story as realistic as possible, in the same way as the books, where Percy was eventually able to defeat Gods and Titans.
The Percy I will bring up in the story will be similar in the books in regard to his sarcasm, disrespect for authorities and gods, and very loyal to his friends. But he will also be someone more experienced and distrustful of others due to the lifestyle he has lived. That is, he will not be someone naive. In that sense, he will be somewhat similar to Percy from The Heroes of Olympus. Someone who, frankly, is really tired.
With that out of the way, I invite you to continue reading if you are still interested in this story.
And with nothing more to say... Until next time, handsome!
