Happy Anniversary Everyone!
Chapter 73: You Ain't Slick
"You don't deserve him. You don't deserve to love. You are hated. You are a freak. You are a loner and that will never change. The truth hurts and so will you. They all leave in the end. They all leave alone in the abyss. You are an outcast."
February 14, Sunday.
Michael: "Ah shit, ah shit. Where the hell did I leave my cologne at? Ah there it is." He sprays some on himself. "Ok, everything is all set. Snacks check, drinks stocked check, movie based off a novel she read check, money for dinner check, looking good check, room cleaned, living room cleaned, and kitchen cleaned check, check, and check. Ok that should be everything. Still got some time before she arrives."
The big day had finally arrived as he readies himself for his valentine's date with Yuri. He had difficulty sleeping after they confessed to each other yesterday and had decided to have their first date at his place. When he came home he did some quick cleaning so he would have less to do the following day. Under normal circumstances a couple would go out like watch a movie or a walk around town, but instead the two decided to be different and spend time with each other at his place.
To Michael it was weird at first since when he dated Sara they went out and the time he took Monika around town last week. Either way after coming to terms with himself, he grew to enjoy the idea of them just cuddling at the comfort of his own home. Just thinking about it made his heart skip beats as he gets ready for their date.
(Alright, just got to keep calm and not say anything or do anything stupid. Or so I would say, but apparently I'm cursed.) He hears the doorbell ring. (Ah that must be her?) He goes to answer the door and is greeted by a warm, but shy smile.
Yuri: "H-hello Michael."
Michael: "Hey" Awkward silence. You should know it by now. "Please right in. I got the place cleaned up before you came." (Shit!)
Yuri: "That's very thoughtful of you, but if you liked I could have helped you. I don't mind cleaning."
Michael: "Do you?" (Roll with it.) "!" He notices something in Yuri's hand. "Um?"
Yuri: "Oh right. Th-this is f-for you." She hands him a heart shaped box of chocolates. "H-happy V-Valentine's D-Day. P-please accept my gift."
Michael: "Uh thank you, but you didn't have to get me anything."
Yuri: "But I wanted to. I wanted us to m-maybe … sh-share as we … uh … c … cuddle?"
Michael: "That so? Well thank you." He smiles which made her happy.
Yuri: "Hm?" She notices something on his table. Another box of valentines chocolates.
Michael: "Ah you notice? Sayori was here earlier. She wanted to give me a box as a sign of our friendship."
Yuri: "Ah I see and how is she?"
Michael: "Good. She wanted to drop by before heading out. Apparently her, Sky, Monika, Natsuki, Sakura, Lily, and Jane went to go out and have a girls night."
Yuri: "Ah that."
Michael: "I take it they asked you to join?"
Yuri: "Indeed, but I told them I had other things to take care of."
Michael: "Ah" (Wonder if Monika doubted her claim?)
Yuri: "I know it was wrong of me to lie, but … I'm still embarrassed to let them know that we're …"
Michael: "It's ok. I know how you feel. I feel a bit embarrassed myself. For now let's just keep this a secret until we're both ready to reveal it. ok?"
Yuri: "Yes, thank you for being patient with me. What do you have plan today?"
He smiled as he told her their plans for the day. After getting everything set up the two would enjoy watching a movie while snacking on chocolates. The dark kind, not the regular kind. Thank God Yuri got the dark chocolate ones or this could get a whole lot more awkward than it needs to be. Aside from that, after the movie had ended Michael then ordered their dinner. While they wait for their order the two would talk about the movie they just watched as Michael would like to know more about the original novel it was based on.
By the time their food came the two would continue talking at the kitchen. Sharing each other's opinions about the movie. After they finished eating the two would head back to the living room and just cuddle as they read together. At first Michael wanted to read a novel, but unexpectedly Yuri wanted to continue reading Berserk instead as she wanted to see what happens next and to know more about their world.
Hearing her taking an interest in the world of Berserk. Michael happily accepted her request and went to grab the next volume. After reading a couple of chapters the two would just spend the rest of the day cuddling and talking as the day went by.
"Is this what it's like to be held by someone I love romantically?"
Michael: "It is." He tightens his arms around her. "Did you have fun today?"
Yuri: "I have. Thank you for having me."
Michael: "Good. I was worried that you might find this boring. There isn't much to do inside compared to out there. Aside from being with you."
Yuri: "Thank you for being considerate. I'm sorry that I'm uncomfortable to be around people, but despite that. When it comes to you. I'll have fun no matter what we do."
Michael: "Now who's being considerate." The two chuckle together.
Yuri: "I wish we could be like this forever, but we have a school day tomorrow and my parents will get worried if I don't return home."
Michael: "I take it they're coming to pick you up? It's already dark out."
Yuri: "They are. Though I'm worried what they'll say when they see me leaving my boyfriend's house with a blush on my face?"
Michael: "… Right?" The two get off the couch and walk towards the front door.
Yuri: "I had a great time. I'm sorry you had to spend Valentine's indoors instead of going out. It must have been boring?"
Michael: "No it's fine. Like you said, when it comes to you. I'll have fun no matter what we do."
Yuri: "True I did say that. I'll be seeing you at the club tomorrow."
Michael: "Right, but of course we'll have to act like we're just friends so the others won't know about us." (Though easier said than done.)
Yuri: "Of course … I'm sorry for being difficult. I know I'm high maintenance due to my personality, but I really am grateful to be with you."
Michael: "It's alright. You're not that difficult considering my Ex is, well, you know?"
Yuri: "Right" She feels a vibration from her phone and checks it. "Ah my mother will be here soon."
Michael: "Ok … Hey Yuri."
Yuri: "Yes?"
Michael: "I uh … I just want you to know, just how much you mean to me and I uh …" She giggles.
Yuri: "You mean a lot to me as well." Before she knows it he wraps his arms around her. "Ah Michael?"
Michael: "Sorry if I scared you, but I don't want to let you go just yet."
Yuri: "I know. I feel the same." She hugs him back.
Michael: "Yuri"
Yuri: "Y-yes?" The two lock eyes with each other.
Michael: "Kiss me."
Yuri: "Eh?" Her face blushes.
Michael: "Kiss me. I want you."
Yuri: "I … want you too."
Michael: "Then will you?"
Yuri: "Yes" The two closed their eyes and finally had their first kiss.
Michael: (This feeling I'm having? It feels similar to when Monika kissed me and yet this? This is far better than ever before. This woman. She is different than her, far different than Sara. This girl. This is my lover. The one I love, the one I want to protect, the one I never want to leave alone. This one. The one I'm with. I'm … at peace.)
*Honk*
The two break off from their kiss.
Yuri: "Ah that must be my mother."
Michael: "Yeah? I'll see you around school."
Yuri: "Okay, I'll see you soon."
Michael: "Love you."
Yuri: "I love you too." She opens the door and leaves to the car waiting out front and as soon as she does.
Michael: "Oh my God." He covers his lips and turns beet red. "That was so cheesy of me! What the hell man!? Smooth move dork!" While he panics to himself. Outside walking to the car.
Yuri: (Oh my. My heart is still beating like crazy.) "Eh?" She sees a smirk through the car.
Yuri's Mother: "My look at you all love struck? I take it he was the smooth talker?"
Yuri: "N-n-n-n-n-n-n"
Yuri's Mother: "Oh dear, looks like I broke her?"
Yuri: "Mother!"
The next day after a very uncomfortable talk with her mother. Gathering up at the club in groups. The Literature Club members enjoy a peaceful day of chatting as they relax from a hard day of school.
Johnny: "And that is how Ronald learned his mechanic skills." The big man grins.
Sebastian: "And he couldn't tell us the story himself why?"
Ronald: "He likes to speak for me even though I can speak for myself just fine."
Johnny: "Your fault for not stopping me."
Ronald: "Grr!"
Sebastian: "Feels like I'm watching a comedy show? Don't you think Michael? Michael?"
Michael: "Hm? Yeah, yeah fascinating."
Sebastian: "Something on your mind?"
Michael: "No not really. Just tired. Today was just wow."
Sebastian: "Tell me about it." He scratches his brown curly hair.
Michael: "Yeah" He looks over to see Yuri reading alone before turning his attention back to the guys as the day went by as normal.
Sayori: "You seem to be a good mood today?" She says as they walk home together.
Michael: "Aren't I always?"
Sayori: "Nope, that role belongs to me."
Michael: "Keep telling yourself that sunshine." He pets her and she smiles like one.
Sayori: "Well it's true especially since earlier after everyone else left."
Michael: "I know."
*Earlier*
Natsuki: "Here take it."
Michael: "For me?"
Natsuki: "Yeah, but don't take it for the wrong idea. Idiot."
Monika: "So sweet."
Natsuki: "Hmph!"
Michael: "Monika?"
Monika: "Here this is from me. Hope you enjoy what I got you."
Michael: "More chocolates?"
Monika: "Now make sure not to eat too much or you'll get fat."
Michael: "Uh?"
*Now*
(I have to admit. I was surprised when Monika and Natsuki both gave me a box full of chocolates. They both claim it to be friend chocolates, but I'm still embarrassed about the whole thing. Natsuki's was homemade, as expected from the master of sweets, but to get a box from Monika. She may no longer be a member of the Council, but she's still the Queen everyone admires.
Which only makes it more awkward for one getting a box of Valentine's chocolate from the Queen, and two because she confessed her love to me only to reject her. I don't know how to feel about all this? Thank God Yuri left for home earlier. I don't want to get her jealous or anything. Then again a jealous Yuri? No never mind. I rather not see that.)
Sayori: "Still thinking about it?"
Michael: "Huh?"
Sayori: "Look at you MC. The ladies man."
Michael: "Oh please. Me? No."
Sayori: "You're such a dork MC."
The two laugh as they continue walking home. Ending today's events and starting a new. Just arriving to the club. Michael takes notice on what everyone is up too. Sebastian, Hina, Sakura, Jane, and Lily hanging out in one group. Ronald and Johnny in a group of their own while Natsuki does her own reading under the window. Meanwhile Sayori and Sky are working together on their homework from class while Monika does her own work as she writes using the very same pen he got her for Christmas. After seeing what everyone was doing he then looked to the corner of the classroom to see Yuri reading alone as she always does. When he reached her she notices him and greeted him with a cute smile.
Yuri: "Ah Michael. How are you doing today?"
Michael: "I'm doing good. How about you?"
Yuri: "Well"
Michael: "Good. Say do you want to read together again?"
Yuri: "I was waiting for you to say that." She then whispers. "It was hard being alone yesterday."
Michael: "I know, but we don't want to make things too obvious."
Yuri: "I understand."
Michael: "So what do you feel like reading?" They talked normal again.
Yuri: "Did you by chance bring Berserk?"
Michael: "Sure did."
Yuri: "Perfect. I'm curious to know how Guts will get out of the mess he's in this time."
Michael: "I know. Imagine being in one those long time fans shoes as they have to wait for the next chapter to be released?"
Yuri: "I would have gone crazy if I had to wait."
Michael: "I know and it's still not done yet."
Yuri: "How unfortunate. We'll be caught up with it very soon."
Michael: "We're worry about it when we get there. Anyways ready?"
Yuri: "Indeed, but if I may ask? Could we sit on the ground this time?"
Michael: "Yeah, I don't mind."
Yuri: "Excellent."
The two take their seats on the ground and leaned on the wall. While they read together. Michael got a bit hungry as he felt his stomach growl. Not wanting to leave or let it continue to growl. He decided to eat some left over dark chocolates Yuri gave him during Valentine's from his backpack. When he saw how focus she was reading, he started to think back to when they first sat like this.
The time when he fed her a piece of chocolate and she went hyper, but was stopped when Natsuki intervened by smacking her upside the head. It was also when he learned that Yuri can't eat regular chocolate, but is able to eat dark chocolate which is why Natsuki always make her sweets that are dark or anything not chocolate related.
Michael: (Man time sure has flown since we first started hanging out? Only seemed like yesterday we were just friends and now we're a couple.) He took another piece of dark chocolate from his backpack and places it in her mouth. Instinctively she bit into it and ate it only to snap out of her trance. "Oh sorry. Did I mess with you concentration?"
Yuri: "N-no. I'm sorry if I've been ignoring you."
Michael: "Don't worry about it. I just got a bit hungry and stopped reading. You're fine."
Yuri: "B-but the Manga?"
Michael: "I already read it before we met. Don't worry about me and just enjoy it."
Yuri: "O-okay, b-but do please pass more of the chocolates."
Michael: "Heh, sure." The two continue on with their day.
Johnny: "Hmm?"
Ronald: "What's up?"
Johnny: "Nothing just curious about those two?"
Ronald: "Why? They're just reading?"
Johnny: "I can see that, but? Is it just me or do they seem close?"
Ronald: "Can't say. We don't know much about them to say."
Sky: "What are you two boys talking about?" The light blue hair randomly appears with Sayori.
Ronald: "Nothing, Johnny is just curious about those two." He points at Michael and Yuri.
Sky: "What they're just reading. What's wrong with that?"
Johnny: "No look closer. They look very close to each other. Like more than just friends. You know?"
Sky: "Oh, well I don't know much about them. Sayori, do you know anything?"
Sayori: "Oh those two are always close. Though they do seem a lot closer than before?"
Johnny: "For real?"
Sayori: "Well they always read together. I just let them be."
Johnny: "Uh ok?" (I'm not buying it, but whatever.) Him, Sky, and Ronald did what Sayori suggested and left them alone as the day went on.
Things would continue that way until Thursday as Yuri and Michael read a novel together. Growing tired from reading he decided to stop and stretch.
Yuri: "Are you tired?"
Michael: "Oh sorry I didn't mean to interrupt you."
Yuri: "It's quite alright. We have been reading a lot lately. You must be growing tired?"
Michael: "Well maybe just a little."
Yuri: "Is there anything else you would like to do? I don't mind having a change in paste."
Michael: "I don't have anything in mind, but tea does sound good right about now."
Yuri: "Okay, I'll get the tea set up then." She gets up and heads to the closet to grab the plug in stove and tea set.
Michael: (Woah, the way she walks is gracious. She has class.) He looks away. (It's hard not wanting to kiss her, but I have to keep our relationship on the low. Though how long can we keep this up? It's only a matter of time until the others find out.) While he thinks and she sets everything up. Staring from the other side of the classroom.
Natsuki: "Is it me or do they seem to be getting along a little too much?"
Sayori: "Johnny asked the same question before too."
Natsuki: "So it's not just me?"
Sayori: "Do you think?"
Natsuki: "Assuming you're not thinking about food then probably?"
Sayori: "Hmm?"
Natsuki: (Did they get together? If so then who confessed first?)
Yuri: "Okay I got everything set up. I just need to fill in the pitcher."
Michael: "Neat"
Yuri: "If it's okay with you? May you assist me?"
Michael: "Sure" He gets off his seat and the two walk towards door.
Monika: "Oh are two going out?"
Yuri/Michael: "Eh!?"
Monika: "Are the two of you heading somewhere?"
Yuri/Michael: (Oh!)
Michael: (For a second I thought …)
Yuri: "We were just heading out to get water for the pitcher to make tea."
Monika: "Ooo, tea does sound great. It has gone quite cold lately. Though I do find it odd that the both of you are going? Filling a pitcher is normally a one person job."
Yuri: "I'm well aware, but what we do is our business. I ask that you keep out of it."
Michael: "!"
Monika: "Eh?" Yuri walks out.
Michael: "Uh?" He clears his throat. "We'll be right back." He then follows as she walks down the hallways to the nearest fountain. "Wait up Yuri!" By the time he caught up, she suddenly stopped. "Yuri? Are you?"
Yuri: "Idiot"
Michael: "Huh?"
Yuri: "I'm such an idiot." She hits her forehead on the wall.
Michael: "Yuri?"
Yuri: "Why did I say that? Why did I make it sound so rude? Why was I so rude to her to a simple question she asked? Out of every other reasons I could have told her, I picked the rudest one. I'm such a jerk." She continues to sulk. "She must hate me now? First I took the boy she likes affection for myself and now I'm acting all cocky about it. What have I become? You must despise me as well don't you?"
Michael: (Well at least I know more about what's going through her head.) *Sigh* "No I don't despise you."
Yuri: "Yes you are. I didn't mean to sound like the jealous type. I don't know what came over me when she meant no harm. Is this what people were saying about me?"
Michael: (They said what about her?)
Yuri: (I know this was a mistake. I showed him an ugly side of me and now he's going to find me disgusting.)
Michael: "Listen, what you said was rude, but don't be so hard on yourself."
Yuri: "Wah!" She looks back to him with a sad expression.
Michael: "Look, there's no sugar coating it, but I'm sure she knows you didn't mean it like that."
Yuri: "But how? How can you tell?"
Michael: "Well maybe you're right, but if you're really feeling guilty about it then why not apologize to her when we get back?"
Yuri: "But what if she doesn't accept it or for that matter want to talk to me again?"
Michael: "You sure do like to over think things?"
Yuri: "Ga!" She sulks even more.
Michael: "Oh boy. Listen if you need help. I can go there with you, but you'll have to make the effort."
Yuri: "N-no I couldn't make you do that for my mistake."
Michael: "Then you know what you have to do right?"
Yuri: "R-right"
Michael: "Come on. Let's fill up the pitcher and head back."
Yuri: "Okay" She says quietly.
Michael: "Something wrong?"
Yuri: "I'm just confused."
Michael: "About?"
Yuri: "How are you this strong? How are you so forgiving after everything that has happened?"
Michael: "… I … I don't know for myself. I'm not that forgiving. I still have some hate in me for those who had wronged me, but you and the others. I could never hate you. That's just how I am. After all I'm only human."
Yuri: "Human?"
Michael: "Well, we better go get that pitcher filled. The faster we can do that the faster you can go back and apologize." Just as he set one foot forward.
Yuri: "Your name."
Michael: "Huh?" He stops in place confused as he turns to her.
Yuri: "Your name means Like God. The archangel was a being that protected, who showed compassion to humans, who always shows up to help those in need. Maybe that's why you are the way you are?"
Michael: "Are you saying I'm an angel?"
Yuri: "…"
Michael: "That's really nice of you to say, but I ain't no saint. I still made my own mistakes. If I was an angel I'm sure I'll already be casted out. I still carry negative emotions. I still sin."
Yuri: "Maybe so, but the lives you touched greatly improved upon by you."
Michael: "…" He stood there in silent, thinking on what to say next. "Hey Yuri, are you doing anything Saturday?"
Yuri: "No not necessarily."
Michael: "Do you want to go out?"
Yuri: "Eh?"
Michael: "Though I do suppose going out is a bit much since you don't like to go out with a crowd."
Yuri: "N-no that's okay. I would love to go out with you. Not by staying indoors, going out there in the world that is."
Michael: "You sure?"
Yuri: "As long as I'm with you. I'll be fine. I want to see the world with you." When she said that. He couldn't help but smile.
Michael: "Ok then let's go out. I hear there's a festival near the piers."
Yuri: "That sounds perfect." The two smile before continuing their original task. By the time they got back to the club. "Do you think you can get the tea ready? I need to have a word with Monika."
Michael: "Sure" She walks over to Monika's desk while he gets the tea ready. Later on, it was time to end today's club meeting. "Phew, what a long day. Ready to head home Sayori?"
Sayori: "Yeah about that."
Michael: "What?"
Sayori: "While you were gone. Monika asked me, Natsuki, and you to stay for a bit longer."
Michael: "For what reason?"
Sayori: "You'll see."
Michael: "O-ok?" (I don't like the sound of this.) Later after everyone left along including Yuri.
Monika: "Is everyone else gone?"
Natsuki: "Yeah, it's just us four. Yuri already left for home. Said she had work to do there."
Monika: "Good. Now, down with our real objective." The three girls look over to the only boy in the room.
Michael: "I'm in danger." He squeezes his chest.
Monika: "So we couldn't help but notice how close you and Yuri have gotten."
Michael: "Aren't we always?"
Monika: "True in ordinary occasion, but …"
Sayori: "We couldn't help but notice how the two of you give an odd look to each other."
Michael: "What?"
Sayori: "Yeah, like the two of you would stare into each other eyes."
Michael: "How is that odd? Shouldn't I be looking there when I'm talking with someone?"
Sayori: "Ah!"
Michael: "You just realized that!?"
Monika: "He's got a point."
Michael: "What are you girls implying here?"
Monika: "Well … how do we put it into words?"
Natsuki: "Are you two dating?" The room froze.
Monika: "Yeah I knew you wouldn't be holding any of your punches."
Michael: "I-is this what it's about?"
Sayori: "Oh did we get it right?"
Michael: *Sigh* "Yeah" The girls squeal.
Sayori: "When did it happen? Who confessed first? Did you two kiss already or did you two … oh my." She blushes as he groans in annoyance.
Michael: "This is going to be a long week."
Natsuki: "You're fault for making it obvious."
Michael: "Damnit"
Monika: "Is there a reason you two kept it a secret?"
Natsuki: "I think I can make a guess?" Not having much of a choice. He told them what happened during the weekend.
Monika: "Ah I see, so that's what happened."
Michael: "I'm sorry."
Monika: "For what?"
Michael: "For keeping it a secret and just after I rejected you."
Monika: "Eh, water under the bridge. I'm just glad to know you're happy. I know we haven't been the easiest people to deal with, but I just want to let you know how much we appreciate all your efforts in making us all happy."
Michael: "You do?"
Monika: "We do."
Michael: "…" He has a look of guilt on his face.
Natsuki: "Hey" She lifts up his face. "Chin up."
Sayori: "She's right you know. After everything you've been through. It's only fair that you're happy too."
Monika: "We care for you and Yuri's happiness. Never forget that. Don't worry about us. We're far stronger than ever before."
Michael: "Thanks … for understanding."
Monika: "I hope you two get along well, I wish you both the best."
Natsuki: "But try not to be all lovey dovey like a certain two people. If I catch you two flirting. I will cockblock you two so hard."
Michael: "I got it, I got it."
Sayori: "But do tell us the juice."
Michael: "What?"
Sayori: "The juice, the juicy details."
Michael: "I don't have much of an option do I?"
Sayori/Natsuki/Monika: "Nope!"
Michael: "Crap"
Later as the sun sets and the moon rises.
Michael: "And that's what happened." He says through the phone.
Yuri: "Ah I see."
Michael: "Sorry about that."
Yuri: "No, no. We were bound to be found out sooner or later. I was just not expecting it on the first week."
Michael: "Are you upset?"
Yuri: "No I'm not. I'm just nervous."
Michael: "Well despite us dating, not much really changed, so it won't be that awkward when we read together."
Yuri: "That's true."
Michael: "I'm just glad it's only those three that found out. They promised they won't tell the others until we're ready to be more open about it."
Yuri: "That's good. I'm glad we have close friends. Well I better get going. I have homework to do and I want to make sure I don't have any so we can spend time Saturday."
Michael: "Yeah I should do the same, so I won't worry about it."
Yuri: "Indeed. How is your story coming along?"
Michael: "Fine so far. The only road block I have is the dating scene."
Yuri: "Ah I see, well it's a good thing we're going out then. I'm sure our date could give you plenty of material to work with."
Michael: "Sure hope so. I'll let you go now. See tomorrow at the club."
Yuri: "Yes, bye for now."
Michael: "Yeah, later."
Yuri: "Uh?"
Michael: "Something wrong?"
Yuri: "No, I just want to say … oh dear how embarrassing."
Michael: "It's ok. You can tell me anything."
Yuri: "How difficult it is to say this, but … I … l-l … I … I hope to see you soon. I love you." She says it so fast.
Michael: "I love you too. Later."
Yuri: "Bye" The two hang up while their faces heat up. (How embarrassing.) She hugs her pillow. (What am I going to do?) She looks across from her bed and sees her knife collection. (Perhaps I should show him? He already accepts my interest and I don't want to shock him if we ever go to my room.
Maybe I could help ease him if I show him my collection right now? But then again? What if he sees this and breaks up with me? He said he accepts me for being me, but … what if he saw and … There's that urge again. The stress is building up again. I … I don't need it, but I do. Maybe just this once? Then I'll stop. It's … only one more time. I hope things go well tomorrow.)
While she struggles, on the other side of town. Walking down the streets eating a snack.
?: "There you are." The white hair blue eye girl says as she give the boy a certain look of disappointment.
?2: "What do you want Senna?" The boy with short brown hair says with an annoyed tone as he takes another bite of his snack.
Senna: "What do I want? Hello you ditched school again!"
?: "And?"
Senna: "And, if you keep doing this you're not going to graduate." The boy rolls his grey eyes.
?: "And why should I care?"
Senna: "So you can graduate with the rest of us, duh?"
?: "Whatever. I don't care." He starts walking away.
Senna: "God you're such a pain in the ass Clyde."
Clyde: "Not my fault you keep following me."
Senna: "We're childhood friend's. Of course I would follow you. I just want what's best for you."
Clyde: "If you cared then you drop it. Leave me alone."
Senna: "Not on my watch." She grabs him by the wrist. "You need to stop with this attitude of yours. You'll get into trouble if you keep doing this."
Clyde: "Tsk!"
Senna: "Now, allow me to tell you how you can get your score up. One, get good grades. Two"
Clyde: (Just end me now.)
Senna: "Show up on time. Three, have make up exams."
Clyde: "What's the point? I'm already far behind. There's no way I can make all that up in time."
Senna: "I was getting to the last part to help increase your odds. Four, join a club."
Clyde: "You done?"
Senna: "Telling you the plans yes. Lecturing you no."
Clyde: "Grrr!" (I hate this. I hate my life. I hate my school. I hate the team. I hate her and most importantly.)
"I hate couples."
End of Chapter 73
