The next day, Logan woke up feeling much better. It was like he really needed that sleep. He felt... normal even. He left the bedroom.
"Hey, buddy." Kendall Knight greeted."Feeling better?". Logan nodded."Yes, much better. I didn't throw up since the last time. I feel... normal"."That's good" Kendall said."It was probably just an upset stomach". Logan nodded once more.
"Yeah, you're probably right". Mrs. Knight came in.
"Feeling better, sweetie?". Logan nodded."Yeah, it was probably just an upset stomach. I feel much better today"."That's good. I'm glad" Mrs.Knight smiled. Logan felt pretty good throughout the day. He didn't feel sick at all. He spent time with Camille and his friends at the pool. He almost forgot he was sick last night. Down in the underworld, The devil and the other demon were planning their next attack.
"The kid is feeling better today, Lucifer" the demon said. The Devil smirked."That's fine. Let the kid have his fun. It'll be the last fun he'll ever have. The next strike will scare him"."What do you have planned?" the demon asked."I'm going to disguise myself as a producer and scare him tomorrow" The Devil told him. The demon smiled.
"Excellent. Please tell me more". The next day came and the guys had to go to the studio."Hey, Gustavo" Kendall greeted." What song are we recording today?"Kendall wondered."Actually. A record producer emailed me last night and wanted to just hear you guys sing"Gustavo told them."Wait a minute" James Diamond questioned."He hasn't heard us sing before?"."The record producer is named Daniel Thompson. He heard about you guys and he wanted to come and hear you guys today, to make a deal with Griffen to make you guys more popular".
"Yeah"Kelly added."Like more popular gigs and have your albums be in the top tens worldwide". James smiled."That's amazing!"."Yeah,so, don't mess up today!"Gustavo shouted at them."Deal" the guys said, together. Kelly let Daniel in.
"Hello boys" Daniel greeted." I'm very excited to hear you sing today"."Alright, Big Time Rush from the top"Gustavo said, and pressed a button. The guys sung the song as well as a couple of other songs. Daniel kept a very close eye on Logan, and Logan noticed this.
"Great job, boys. I am looking forward to working with Griffen. Logan, may I please see you outside for a moment"Daniel asked."What did he do?"Gustavo demanded."Nothing"Daniel answered."I would just like to have a friendly chat with Logan". Logan smiled and followed Daniel out of the room. Daniel suddenly pushed Logan against the wall. Logan's eyes widened.
"Don't scream" Daniel threatened. Logan nodded."Listen kid. I know who you are and I am not who you think I am"."Yeah, no kidding"Logan said, creeped out."Quiet! I'm not kidding. This is not how I look. I promise that you will see me again, very soon. But, right now, let's play a game. I know that you're the smart one of the group. So, answer this riddle for me, smart guy.'I am more powerful and evil than it may seem. I have come from under where? I have come for my child and whom may that child could be? And down will come that child for it's screams and all'" Daniel told him.
"I am stumped" Logan said."That's good" Daniel smirked."I will give you time to decide. Meanwhile, don't tell anyone what happened. Or else. Got it"Daniel pushed Logan back as he let go of his shirt.
"Why are you doing this to me?"Logan wondered. Daniel smirked.
"Oh, you'll understand soon, little Hortense". Logan's eyes widened. How did this man know my real first name?
"How do you know my name?"Logan asked.
"You'll know that soon, too, child. Remember, don't tell anyone what happened"Daniel warned. Daniel left Logan and went back into the studio. Logan was confused and scared. Why was this man out for him? Why did he have to answer this riddle? Why could he not tell anyone about this? What was he supposed to tell the guys, and Gustavo, and Kelly? Logan took a deep breath and walked back in to the studio. Daniel put on an act.
"Oh, Logan, my boy, there you are. I just told everyone about our great talk"Daniel smirked. Logan knew Daniel just lied to everyone."Yeah, Logan"Carlos added, happily."It's great that Daniel offered to give you interviews that could make you rise up in magazines". Daniel glared at Logan.
"Yeah"Logan lied, nervously."I can't wait to go viral".
"Don't worry, buddy"Kendall told him."You'll knock those interviews dead... I know it". Later on, after Kendall, James, and Carlos left, Daniel grabbed Logan's shoulder and turned him around to face him."Listen, Logan. Over time I'm going to say I provided us these private interview meetings. You know, for the magazine. But, really you're going to come and get to see the real me. You'll see where I'm from and where I'm taking you, got it?"Daniel told him. Logan just nodded. Daniel started to walk away.
"See you again soon,Mitchell".
