Birth By Sleep Arc Chapter 7:Neverland, Land of Adventure!
Last time, Sakore and Ven chased after an Unversed that boarded a giant spaceship. After traversing through the ship and with the help of Experiment 626 (aka Stitch) they were able to destroy the Unversed before it could destroy the ship. However as the trio made their escape, 626 (Stitch) activated the Hyperdrive which the shockwaves caused both Sakore and Ventus to be flying towards somewhere unknown. Where will they land? Let's arrive at the place they landed!
Up in the skies of the World of Neverland, small sparkles of light flew down onto the land in different locations. Then one sparkle of light moving strangely above the world, which then lands somewhere.
In the Indian Camp of Neverland stood Mickey as he was looking at his surroundings. He notices a Corridor of Darkness open and turns behind to see who made it.
"Move it." He said to the mouse.
In one other part of the Island Ventus was awoken by two kids known as the Lost Boys named Slightly and Cubby, they were also accompanied by a Pixie by the name of Tinker Bell. Ventus asked if they had seen Sakore describing him similarly dressed like him. Though they haven't, Ventus hoped that he might have landed somewhere from the shockwave back from up in space. They also mention a shooting star which Ventus was excited and curious about, so he tagged along which was a good idea as Unversed got in the way of their path.
They reach an area with a large withered tree called Hangman's Tree, and laying against it was who Ventus was looking for.
"Sakore!" He called out as he ran to him and Tinker Bell flew over to him curiously. "Guess he also fell asleep." He said to not let anyone know about other worlds so order is kept. Tinker Bell flies close to his face as Sakore starts to open his eyes. Tinker Bell does a swift kick at his cheek.
"Ah! Hey!" He shouted now fully awake. "Ok, who did that?" He looked up seeing Ven, then the Pixie flew right in front of him. He could see she is quite small as she has blonde hair with a tied up bun, she wears a light green leaf like dress with shoes on. Plus he could see that Tinker Bell has a glow from her body.
He looked at her then someone made a bird call and from the skies they saw a young boy fly by.
"Peter Pan!" The Lost Boys called out seeing him. Once the young boy flew down to their level to glimpse at the new guys. They see he is a young boy around their age having pale skin, black eyebrows, brown eyes, and has short orange hair. He wears a green elf-like hat with a red feather, a light-green short sleeve tunic, green tights, he also has tan pointed shoes, and has a brown strap around his waist that holds a dagger.
"Who are you guys? Never seen you before." Peter Pan asked the two.
"I'm Ventus. Call me Ven. And this is my friend Sakore." He answered as Sakore stood up.
"Well… if you say so." He says as lands on the ground he walks to the two boys. "Ten-shun!" They stood straight and saluted like soldiers. "Now then, men. I don't suppose you'd wanna capture some real pirate treasure?"
"Real Pirate Treasure?!/Sure!" The two boys said, excited hearing this.
"Well, guess who caught sight of Hook right when he was stashing his treasure?" Peter Pan asked the two, Sakore and Ven assumed he spotted this 'Hook' person who is most likely a pirate. "Whaddaya say we sneak in and grab it?" The two boys agreed with the idea only for Tinker Bell to kick the two in the face angry. She then flew over to Peter in a huff.
"Tinker Bell, what's gotten into you?" He asked her.
"We were all supposed to go hunt for a shooting star together." Ven answered.
"Shooting star?" Sakore muttered, wondering about if this 'Shooting Star' might be from something he saw before back in Radiant Garden.
"Forget that. Pirate treasure is way more fun." Peter said. "Tink, you're comin' with us!" She folded her arms like she was saying 'No way!' With a huff and flew away which Peter was surprised. "Well, that's no way to respond to an invitation. C'mon, Ven, Sakore, you're a better sport than her, right?" He asked the two.
"I'd love to join you, but… first I wanna find the shooting star." Ven answered him.
"Same here, I wanna see this shooting star." Sakore said also, to which Peter was dumbfounded hearing that they want to see a shooting star rather than go for Pirate Treasure. Tink follows both Sakore and Ven. Peter in disbelief flew off with the two boys following him.
While they were on the way they get stopped by Unversed, which they encounter two new ones. The first of which looks to be a totem pole of three totems known as the Triple Wrecker which are Yellow, Blue, and Red separately. The other is a gorilla like Unversed with a banana on its head called the Wild Bruiser as it is quite bulky with taking many hits against the two. Sakore took the time to add Aerial Slam in his new open slot after the fight on the Spaceship.
They continued forward reaching the Indian Camp, and the two could see something on the ground. To Sakore it was unknown, but Ventus recognized it.
"Mickey's Star Shard?" Ven questioned why it was there strangely. Tink flew to grab it but she was caught by someone as they chuckled.
"A shooting star and a pixie! Must be me birthday." A man spoke in a pirate-like accent. He is a thin man with curly black shoulder length hair that drapes over his shoulders, has a large hooked nose, a thin black mustache that angles upward sharply, and a large chin. He wears a frilly white shirt underneath a red coat with gold lining and maroon cuffs, each has two yellow buttons, has an orange sash over his right shoulder that holds his sword scabbard at his left hip. He wears maroon pants and white, knee-high socks, as well as black shoes with pink circles decorating each one. the tongues of his shoes reach halfway up the shins. He has a large maroon hat with a large white feather stuck in it. His left hand is replaced with a hook which made it obvious to the two this man is known as 'Hook' from what Peter said. The man grinned and noticed the two boys.
"Let Tinker Bell go!" The two shouted at the same time as they summoned their keyblades.
"Another pair of Peter Pan's brats. Well, tell that cowardly sparrow… if he wants his precious Tinker Bell back, he'd best meet me at Mermaid Lagoon!" He tells the two as he makes his getaway.
"Hold it!" Sakore shouted but before they could give chase, a bunch of Unversed appeared.
"Scram!" Ven yelled as the two started the fight. Sakore used Magnera bringing the Flood Unversed in one spot and taking them out. Mandrake then spawned with a Triple Wrecker. Sakore used his Sonic Blade skill attacking the totem Unversed as Ven takes out the Mandrakes using fire magic and his new Thunder Roll technique.
After dealing with those, 3 Wild Bruisers appeared which made things difficult for the two. Sakore then started the Bladechare command style allowing him to strike with long distance, at the same time Ven used his Wingblade command style which was doing quick work on the Unversed. As the two unleash the finishing strike they wiped the Wild Bruisers making them vanish in black vaper.
Once they finished they quickly moved to find out that Hook had gotten away.
"We lost them." Ven said disappointed. They get blinded by the sun a bit and start thinking back to the night they last spent together looking at the stars.
"Look out below!" Peter Pan called out to the two as he landed close to them.
"Peter! Tinker Bell's been Pixie-napped!" Sakore tells him. As Peter feared this realizing he didn't arrive on time.
"Then I'm too late. Hook's gonna pay for this!" He says like he was warned about this somehow.
"He said to meet him at Mermaid Lagoon." Ven tells him.
"Gotta be an ambush. Hmph, that old codfish thinks he's clever." Peter says knowing Hook will do any kind of dirty trick. He starts to fly away.
"Hang on, We're going too!" Sakore tells him.
"Well, we have to hurry. Can you keep up?" He asks the two Keyblade wielders.
"You bet!" Ven answers as they follow Peter to Mermaid Lagoon.
They reach Mermaid Lagoon and then look around like they hear something faint as it draws closer to them.
"You hear something?" Sakore asks as a cannonball nearly hits them. "Whoa!"
"Cannon fire? Where's it coming from?" Ven asked, bringing out his Keyblade looking around.
"On the water! Over there!" Peter points to the Pirate ship a far distance away from the trio, they see another fly towards them which they quickly get away. They notice a sparkle of light fly to them and they see what or who it was. "Tink, it's you! And you're all right!" She started telling him something. "What? A strange fella with a funny-lookin' sword has-'' Peter stopped because another cannonball landed close to them. "Hold on, I gotta stop that cannon!"
"Okay. We'll go after Hook!" Sakore tells him.
"Right. Tink, if you would." Peter says to her and she flies around both Ventus and Sakore as they feel lighter suddenly. "Pixie dust. Bet you feel lighter now, don'tcha?" He takes flight flying towards the ship.
"Alright, let's go pay Hook a little visit!" Sakore tells Ven with a grin as they move forward. They could glide which allowed them to go over water and reach long distance spots, They fight some Unversed that get in their way until they head to the Cove where Hook is currently at.
At the Cove, Captain Hook tapped his foot wondering if his trap had worked. He then noticed no cannon sounds being heard so he held a hand to his ear and of course the cannon shots had stopped.
"Alas, and so passeth a worthy opponent. To think that his would be such an inglorious end." He says in a dramatic way then starts laughing. "At last, that scurvy brat will never trouble me again!"
"I wouldn't be so sure of that, Hook!" Ventus spoke up, making Hook look behind to see both Ven and Sakore.
"Swoggle me eyes!" He said in disbelief then came to a realization. "No, don't tell me!" He pulled out his telescope and looked in the direction of his ship where he could see his Second-Hand Smee knocked out and Peter Pan bumping his fists at his chest like a gorilla then raising his arms into the air in Victory! This angered Hook as he tossed his telescope to the ground. "Blast that Peter Pan!" He turned around jumping to the circle platform surrounded by water.

He pulls out his sword as he prepares to fight both Sakore and Ven, he looked ready to take his anger out on them, when a sudden ticking sound of a clock started to make Hook look uneasy looking around.
"That sound!" He turns around to see a crocodile near the edge which is the source of the ticking which he started panicking. "No! Not again! S-stay away from me!" He turns back around only to be stopped by the two Keyblade wielders.
"What's wrong Hook? Afraid of a crocodile?!" Sakore joked with a grin.
The battle starts with Sakore charging in first as clashed his Keyblade with Hook's rapier which knocked him a bit. Sakore then tosses his keyblade causing Hook to go at the edge making him flail his arms trying to get his balance back. Ven charged and smacked Hook into the water, this allowed the crocodile to take a bite off Hook.
"Yowch!" He yelped as he got back onto the platform. "You scurvy brats! How dare ye cross with me!" He swings his blade wildly at them walking forward. They get some distance away from him as Sakore shoots a Firaga which starts to burn his bottom. "AH! Hot hot hot!" Hook pats his behind to stop the fire allowing Ven to get some hits on him. "Face me coward!" Hook swings his weapon strongly, hitting Ven. This only made Sakore toss his Freeze Raid dazing Hook for a moment.
"Stay back, you codfish!" Sakore shouted as he charged forth unleashing his Aerial Slam. Hitting him into the aim and then striking him back to the ground allowing Ventus to recover with a potion and tossing his Keyblade. Hook was getting annoyed so he reached into his pocket.
"Present for you!" He said tossing 3 wrapped gifts to them. Knowing how Hook is from Peter, it was most likely a trap.
"We don't want it!" Ven shouted as he shot a Fira at Hook causing the burn. As they continue dealing with Hooks strong swings and his explosive presents that he keeps tossing. Which a few did hit them doing some damage. As the battle continued he started attacking strongly and sometimes dodging their attacks as well as blocking with a counter. "I'll make you walk the plank!" He swung his blade while running at them which it was tricky getting away from while their platform didn't have much room to keep distance away. They did knock him into the water a few times, making the Crocodile take a bite off of Hook.
While it was difficult with him dodging and blocking their attacks, he was definitely wearing down from the fight as were the two wielders. They had him agitated from getting bitten by the Crocodile as well as having him getting burned from their fire magic attacks. They get him near the edge which he looked back in fear then turned back to see the two charging at him.
"It's over Hook!" The two say at the same time swinging their Keyblades at Hook. Which makes him fly into the water.
He comes out of the water noticing the crocodile looking at him, Hook panicked seeing the crocodile.
"Leave me alone!" Hook cried in panic as he started running across the water as the Crocodile swam after him. "Help me, Smee! Smeeeeee!" He continued getting away from his pursuer.
"Ahoy! Look what we brought!" The Lost boy Cubby called out to the two making them look to see Peter Pan flying next to the two on a small boat with a Treasure Chest arriving from Skull Rock.
"It's a pirate's treasure chest!" the other Lost Boy Slightly said. Once they got on land next to them they brought the chest out.
"Treasure!" Ven said excitedly!
"Yup! The same chest I told ya about." Peter explained. "We snatched it right from Hook's hiding place."
"Well don't keep the suspense, open it up!" Sakore told him. Peter nodded and opened it to see.
"Huh? How come it's empty?" It was true, the chest was completely empty with nothing inside.
"Uh, sorry, but… we losted all the treasures." Cubby explained, disappointed that they couldn't get a single piece of gold.
"Oh, well… That's too bad." Ven said disappointed also.
"Aw, who needs it?" Peter asked. "It was prob'ly just full of dumb old jewels or doubloons or somethin' anyways."
"We could just put what WE treasure in there instead, if you wanna." Slightly mentions the idea to him.
"Yeah, that's perfect!" Peter agreed with the idea. "Instead of fillin' it up with jewels and gold and stuff, we'll put in what's truly special to us. The real riches!" So the trio put in their own stuff like wooden swords, makeshift bows, hammers, and arrows.
"How about you guys? What are you putting in?" Peter asked Ven and Sakore. They looked at him and thought about what they would put in the chest. Then they pull out the wooden makeshift Keyblades they have been holding onto. Ven holding the one made by Terra, and Sakore holding the one he and his brother made. "What is it?"
"It's… just something that one of my best friends gave me." Ven answered.
"This… is something me and my brother built long ago." Sakore explained.
"So those are like keepsakes, huh?" Peter assumed. "You sure you both wanna part with somethin' special?"
"Yup." Ven answered and Sakore nodded. "We don't need them if we've got Terra and Aqua. Our best memories are still ahead."
"All right, then. Next time ya both visit, we'll have an even bigger chest waitin'. Enough for all those treasures and lots more." Peter tells them as Sakore smiles at his Enthusiasm.
"Okay. It's a deal." Ven replied as he and Sakore placed their items in the chest. Then Tink was coming by with the Star Shard. "Oh, wait, Tink. I'm pretty sure that belongs to a friend of ours. Do you think maybe I could hang onto it?" She shook her head, not giving it up.
"Now Tink!" Peter yelled at her which she flinched and placed it in Ven's hand.
"Thank you." He tells her as Sakore walks to Ven looking at the Star Shard which is a jewel that's bright blue with only 4 points of a star while one point had a light green bolt inside the center out the missing point. Suddenly the Shard shines, consuming both Ven and Sakore in bright light making them vanish before the others eyes. They looked around wondering where the two vanished too.
"They… they're gone!" Slightly mentioned at the obvious sight before them. Cubby looked up noticing something.
"Look! The Light!" He points to the wild shine of light moving at a curve like path going up to the sky.
"Don't worry, men. No matter where that light takes them… Ven and Sakore will always have friends waitin' to meet the two of them." Peter tells them watching the light vanishing into the sky.
Where will the Star Shard take them? What awaits them when they arrive at their destination? Will they be friends? Or will they be foes? And what of Mickey? Where did he vanish too without his Star Shard? Is he safe? Or is he in danger? These questions will be answered next time!
