California Candy Man

It's been a week after Hizuri Kuon or better known as Tsuruga Ren showed to his fans his brother in person, and even taking three days off with his fiancée to take their beloved little Hizuri around the Metropolis and introduce to him the culture the actor grew to love.

Of course, because of the Hizuri couple, Tsuruga Ren and Kyoko-chan's willingness to showcase the youngest Hizuri, a lot of variety shows and interview shows sent loads of invitations and request if they can have the boy Hizuri in their show. Kuu was not entirely against it, but it is up to his youngest if he wanted to.

Currently they are lounging in the family living room with both Kuon and Kyoko's managers to help facilitate everything, "What about this? The big chicken looked similar to Brian two-point-ow." Angel laughed showing the picture of the begging chicken. Kuon and Kyoko shared a knowing smile since it was Kyoko's former role and job, "And the three hosts looked fun."

The younger couple nodded in agreement, "Did you know that I used to work for that show?" Kyoko mentioned and Kuon chuckled nodding.

"And she played Boh, the rooster." Pointing at the begging mascot, Angel stared at Kyoko in awe, impressed that an actress like her would be willing to be under those comedic suit.

Kuon beamed in pride that his woman isn't like those picky and overrated actresses he often have as co-stars. Once they settled which show he wanted to appear, the two managers negotiated with the terms set by the older Hizuri couple in protection of their minor son. Of course, the producers and director was willing since the show had been a huge part of the younger Hizuri couple's life, especially Kyoko's.

Honored, the variety show made a special off-studio episode, and planned the best segments as well as location for the crew to take the young Hizuri for the whole day, of course, they will have to edit the best parts but the Hosts insisted they want to hang-out with the cook kid for a day as an excuse. They kept in touch with Kuu and Julie whether they allow their son to those establishments, and thus far the couple are very much open and lets their son pick on the places he wanted.

It didn't take long when the show started taping, The Ishibashi hosts were delighted to meet the California Candy Man in the flesh, and boy, he was indeed tall, taller than the three of them and even their mascot.

Yuusei whistled, "Cameras don't give your looks some justice." He commented, "I mean, you're like a younger version of Tsuruga-san… but blonde!" he laughed.

Angel corrected him politely, "Actually, Big-B is blonde too." The three hosts were shocked and turned to Tsuruga Ren by the Director with shocked faces. Ren in response chuckled and waved at the camera directed at him.

The camera followed the five around Akihabara, girls and fans tend to squeal and ask for their pictures, especially the infamous Tsuruga brother. They are on their way to their first stop, a famous arcade, and once they entered the security had a little trouble with the mobbing fans to hold them at bay. Yashiro and Kyoko's manager's combined death glares pushed the rabid ladies back.

It was hilarious when they asked Angel to play the basketball arcade. Since he was so tall he just reached the ring with a single ball making a back and forth action tricking the sensors. The three hosts were in fits after he took the highest score and grabbed a bunch of tickets. Next was the crane game, boy… poor Hikaru kept failing to get the single toy of Boh dressed as a badminton player, it was Kyoko's first persona for Boh.

Angel being talented with the game got it for him, and by the end of their games at the crane section, they got three huge bags of plush toys. It was really wholesome when he took the biggest one and handed it to a little boy crying, the mother thanked Angel and went on their way.

"Well, he's not named Angel for no reason." Joked by Shinichi which made Ren and Kyoko laugh.

They then dragged the young man for lunch and took him to some famous dining spots, of course they didn't go un-noticed to plenty of Ren and Kyoko's fans, now Angel's too. Once the director called for break, Angel took time and gave a lot of his winning plush toys to the ladies, and he was asked to sign it for them too, Ren and Kyoko showed their support by signing it as well and taking selfies with everyone.

"By the way what are you going to do with the rest of those?" Hikaru asked pointing at the two other bags of toys.

Angel just smiled, "I'll ask Nee-chan where is the nearest animal shelter, the dogs and cats needs these more than I do." He said.

Hikaru was speechless, "Wait, so you won all of these just for that?" And Angel nodded.

"I visit a local shelters in LA and help when I can, the animals there helped me emotionally when I needed it." Little did they know their little talk was being caught by Kyoko's camera.

Hikaru then went to the producers and directors asking for permission if he can make his personal interview at the teen, and they allowed him. Once lunch was done, they then went to some famous anime and souvenir shops. It was well known that Angel loved anime figures and Gundam diecasts, and the team wanted to give him a present.

The youngest Hizuri was so stoked when Yuusei handed him a giant box of the figure and said it was a present. Angel in return bought them a fitting gift as well, and everyone in the variety show crew also received a very heartfelt present from the young man.

Their last destination was the cafés, they tried all the snacks and drinks being offered as the best seller and one thing they noticed is that, Angel was never full and would just eat all the portions, Shinichi surrendering has been handing his shares to the teen who happily took it.

Hikaru's request finally came into play when they settled to a trendy café that overlooks the busy streets of Tokyo, "Earlier, you mentioned that animals, comforted you emotionally, if possible… can you tell me why?" Ren and Kyoko were about to step in and refrain the question when Angel turned and gave them a warm smile that it was fine.

"Hikaru-san, there is a reason why I wear different types of hats." Angel stated and the oldest host nodded since he noticed it from all the posts made by the Tsuruga couple. "That is to hide this." Removing his beanie and showing the scar or stitches after an emergency surgery for the hemorrhage, it was quite wide and he opt to have a fade hair cut that way it would easily blend on his scalp and avoid his hair having a huge gap obviously showing it.

I know few years ago, my parents already told on their interviews about what happened to me in my old middle-school, it really did numbers on me. I went through countless counseling and medications to get my act together. I was scared of strangers and crowds because of it." He took a deep breath. Ren and Kyoko at the back were holding each other and ready to step in and stop the interview but Angel holds them off.

"But one day, a friend of mine told me to visit a shelter or at least have a dog." The three hosts listened to him intently, "But I wasn't sure if I can care for a dog or cat, but instead I did visit a shelter and started to help as a volunteer, while cleaning, I tend to talk to one of the senior pets and they just sat there looking at me with no judgment or comments. It was relieving and comfortable, their little whines is like telling me it's okay." he explained.

Boh, out of impulse jumped and have the young Hizuri a tight hug which the other returned, "I'm glad you're doing well Angel-kun." Hikaru said, "But for your bully, do you hate him?"

Angel contemplated for a while, "At first, I do, I hated him so much that I want to stab him too." Ren smirked, proud that his brother wanted to fight back, "But as time goes on, I don't. I kind of felt okay and forgave him, of course I'm still pissed at the colorful names he called my mother, Juliana and would pulverize him if given a chance." Everyone laughed.

"We can't blame you! If my mom was called like that I would have buried a bully a live too." Yuusei commented.

"But I guess I forgive him and learn from that experience, I know how to fight, stand-up for myself and be a man." The back stage crew clapped.

Shinichi cringed a little, "But bullying to the extent of almost killing another kid is too much."

"At lease I was just stabbed and not shot." Angel added and the three have to agree. Once the director called it cut, the three hosts as well as everyone were invited to the Hizuri mansion, Kuu and Julie bought a property that way their family can settle in Japan whenever they wanted, and have the security and privacy.

Dinner with the family was rich and fun, the pool side was filled with laughter and conversations. The person playing the new Boh is actually Kyoko's Kohai from Love Me section and it was adorable when Angel gave her his personal jersey as present. Angel really thanked her from the warm hug she gave earlier and Julie approved.

All in all, the day with the California Candy Man was fun, wholesome and eventful. The fans that encountered the bunch earlier and was given plush toys made a lot of uploads and positive comments about the young Hizuri, the poor social media site had a temporary server maintenance after flood of appreciation and sweet messages were posted for Angel.

The very next day, Kyoko uploaded a picture of Angel brightly smiling candidly at the pack of puppies hounding him at the yard with the remaining toys after he gave most of it to the shelter, Kyoko thanked hers and Ren's fans for sending them puppies of all kinds and they will be relocated to LA once the teen and the older Hizuri couple comes home.

Shortly that week, Yappa Kimagure Rock aired their recorded taping and it won the hearts of their fans how wholesome that episode was. They even showed a following recording of Angel where he thanked all the staff, hosts and Boh, especially the person behind Boh for that comforting hug, "I would have broke-down-in-tears if weren't for Boh's comfort. Thank you." And proceed to show the huge plush toy of Boh wearing a Jersey with Hizuri on it.

Funny how Ren posted a picture of his brother sitting in the living room with the puppies and the plush Boh beside him watching the latest drama he and Kyoko are the starring lead, "Oh no! Is another Tsuruga going to steal another Boh?" That caused a comedic riot from the fans of Boh.

EXTRA: Aesthetic Bentos

Julie is known to horribly do some wear food combos, and her sons as well as husband are definitely aware of it. The fashionable woman is a great cook but sadly a terrible one when she mixes them. One day, she saw one of those short clips online where mothers pack lunches for their husbands or children. She wanted to do those for her son who's now in high school, however after she made a supposed healthy huge portion for him, he looked a little concerned.

Still baffled at the mountain of monstrosity, "Uh… Thank you momma…" He had an awkward chuckle, "This is quite the mound you got for me." Still approving the taste, "Still would it be nice if you can aesthetically make it? I know you're all about aesthetics~" Angel tried to swoon his mother, Kuu sighed and trusted his younger son's gentle and sensible ways to tell off his mother.

Julie gasped and clapped her hands, "You're right!" then she pouted, "But you don't like it?" Angel gently shook his head.

"On the contrary, I like it. But it would be a mess in my pack if I put it as is. I know you wanted to add stuff that are big and healthy, but it would be nice to use a container with divisions and separate them so that the taste wont overlap the others." Logically explained it to Julie.

Julie nodded and then retreated to watch some more videos, and the next day, it pleased Angel after his mother used a proper containers, an all the food was separated and placed to a stackable bento Tupperware. Julie even included plenty of sweets and salty snacks from Japan. "Did you make one for me?" Kuu smiled to his wife hopefully.

"Make your own, you're old enough." That wiped the smile off his face.

Kuu pouted, "AW! And I thought you love me!"

Julie yelled from the kitchen, "Not as much as I love my baby boys!" And that got Kuu complaining the whole day.
