Emerald Forest: Vale
Ben, his new partner Luke the hawk faunus and Freyja, the little Beowolf pup were walking through the Emerald Forest after dealing with a new species of grimm that killed a King Taijitu. Their main goal was to find the temple in the Emerald Forest and collect a relic that they could bring back to the Emerald Cliffs. So far, they hadn't been able to find any signs of the temple. Neither of Luke's drones, Huginn and Muninn could find the temple. It was seeming like they were never going to be able to find the temple.
"We've been out here for hours now and still no sign of that temple" Ben said with an annoyed sigh
"It makes no sense, Huginn and Muninn should have found it by now" Luke said annoyed
"Maybe Ozpin put a disrupted around it so people couldn't use technology to find it" Ben suggests, coming up with a reason why Luke's drones hadn't found the temple
"It does make sense and it would make it harder for most people to find the temple" Luke said
"Either way we need to find, technology or not" Ben said sounding determined
"Maybe we could use your pet to fins the temple" Luke suggested, looking over at Freyja
"You think she could use her nose to pick up a scent and lead us to the temple?" Ben asked
"I don't know, I have no idea if Beowolves can pick up a scent from nothing" Luke answered
"I mean I guess it couldn't hurt to try it anyways" Ben said
Ben then took Freyja out of his jacket pocket and sat her down on the ground
"Okay Freyja, I need you to find the temple for me" Ben told Freyja
Freyja looked up at Ben with a confused look on her face as she tilted her head to the side
"The temple, can you find the temple?" Ben asked Freyja who still had a confused look on her face
"Find the temple for us" Luke told Freyja
Freyja sat down and just smiled and wagged her tail while both Ben and Luke let out an annoyed sigh
"Now what do we do?" Ben asked
"She clearly can't track the temple, if only we had something that could" Luke answered as he tried to think of another way he and Ben could find the temple
Thinking about it, Ben looked down at the omnitrix and then got an idea that would work
"I've got something that can work" Ben said
"Really?" Luke asks Ben
"I've got a transformation that can help us out" Ben answered as he lifted up his wrist, showing Luke the omnitrix
"Are you sure it will work?" Luke asked Ben
"I haven't met anything that can track better than it, plus we don't really have much of a choice at this point" Ben answered as he activated the omnitrix
Luke knew that Ben was right, they were out of options at this point so relying on a transformation was the last thing they could do instead of giving up. Ben turned the omnitrix dial looking for the icon of the transformation he wanted to transform into. Luke watched as Ben went past icon after icon and began to wonder how many transformations Ben's omnitrix actually had.
"Got it" Ben said as he stopped on the icon of the transformation he wanted
"Go for it" Luke told Ben
Ben then selected the transformation that he wanted which then caused the dial of the omnitrix to pop up. Ben quickly slammed the dial down which caused himself to become engulfed in a bright green light as he was transformed into the transformation that he selected. When the green light faded away, it was revealed that Ben had transformed into a large orange dog-like creature that also had gorilla like features. This transformation had the back legs of an animal with gorilla-like arms and hands wit the front two legs. This transformation also lacked a pair of eyes and nose and had gills on its neck with quills on its back and large sharp fangs.

Ben had been transformed into a creature that he called Wildmutt, as Wildmutt, Ben let lout a massive roar as he slammed his hand on the ground
"That is something else but how is it supposed to see and track anything without eyes and a nose?" Luke asked Ben
Ben made a few growling and snarling sounds to Luke which apparently Luke was able to understand
"You have some type of sonar sense that let's you see and hear everything around you as well as a bit of thermal sense?" Luke asks Ben
Ben nods his head and begins to paw at the ground as he sniffs for something, eventually Ben sticks his head up as his gills open up
"Find anything?" Luke asks Ben
Ben snarls a bit as drool comes dripping down from his mouth
"You want me to get on?" Luke asks Ben
Ben nods his head as he picks up Freyja off of the and sets her down on his back as she barks happily. Ben then motions for Luke to get on his back and sit down so he can follow the scent he picked up just now. Seeing no other option, Luke hesitantly sits down on Ben's back as Freyja crawls up on top of Ben's head.
"Okay, let's get a move on then" Luke said
With that, Ben quickly ran off on all fours towards the scent that he had picked up
"Take it slow" Luke tells Ben as he tries to hang on to Ben's back without falling off
Ben goes faster and faster through the forest, Freyja almost falls off of Ben buy Luke is able to catch her and stop that from happening. Freyja barks happily as she wags her tail, Luke tries to keep his head down as Ben jumps over logs and runs under low hanging tree branches.
"Take it easy, I'm going to fall off" Luke tells Ben
Time Skip
After going a certain distance, Ben ended up suddenly stopping which confused Luke
"What is it?" Luke asked Ben as he got off of him with Freyja
Ben sniffed the ground then began to growl, Freyja started to grow as well which worried Luke. It was then that the smell of blood and death filled Luke's nose.
"That can't be good" Luke said as he covered his nose and mouth
Ben made some growling noises at Luke and motioned for him to follow
"You stay in the front then" Luke tells Ben
The two then slowly approach where the smell is coming from as Freyja follows behind them. Ben picks Freyja up and sets her down on his back so she would be safe.
Small Clearing: Emerald Forest
After walking through some trees, Ben and Luke end up walking into a small clearing. What they see next is truly horrific and cannot be expressed in words. Laying all over the ground are the dead bodies of Ursa as well as Ursa Major. Some are ripped in half and in pieces while others have broken skulls and their ribs are sticking out of their chest. Whatever happened here, something slaughtered all of these grimm and it was still in the area.
"Please don't tell me we are dealing with another one of those new grimm species?" Luke asks worried
All of a sudden, some rustling in the trees got the attention of Ben and Luke. The two readied themselves as they saw a massive figure slowly walk into the clearing. As the figure stepped into the clearing, Ben and Luke could see a massive Ursa looking creature but something seemed off about it. Ben's gills opened up as Luke switched his bow into its sword form.
"Come on Ben, let's take care of this thing" Luke said to Ben
Before Luke could go off and fight the massive Ursa, Ben stuck out his arm and stopped him
"What is it Ben?" Luke asked Ben
Ben just sniffed the air some more before the Ursa somehow ended up speaking
"Hey uh, who are you and what is that thing next to you?" The Ursa asked
"The grimm just talked!?!" Luke said stunned
"I'm not a grimm" the Ursa said
All of a sudden, the large Ursa was thrown to the ground revealing it to have been actually dead. What was standing there was actually a giant man who was covered in grimm blood. Soon that man suddenly started to shrink down as his body lost more and more mass to it. Eventually the man had returned his normal size, he was still tall but wasn't a giant.
"Sorry if I scared you" the man said, revealing himself to actually he Kyle
"We thought you were a giant grimm" Luke said
"Yeah, that's my semblance, it lets me increase my body's muscle mass as well as harden it" Kyle said, rubbing the back of his head
Kyle looked over and saw Ben in his Wildmutt form and didn't recognize him
"Okay, what the heck is that thing standing next to you? Is it like your dog or something?" Kyle asked Luke
"This is my partner Ben and he transformed into this thing" Luke answered
"That thing is Ben? I don't believe it" Kyle said in disbelief
Ben let out a sigh and hit the omnitrix badge on his arm, transforming himself back into his human form
"What the?" Kyle asked confused
"I told you I could transform but you didn't believe me" Ben says
"Holy crap, you can actually transform!!!" Kyle said amazed
"That's what I told you" Ben said with an annoyed sigh
"Sorry I didn't believe you man" Kyle said, apologizing to Ben
"Don't worry about it" Ben said acting like it was nothing
"I hate to ruin this friendly reunion but there is a temple we need to get to" Luke said, speaking up
"Oh yeah, we need to find the temple" Ben said with a sudden realization
"I think I saw some ruins off in that distance before I fell into that Ursa den" Kyle said, pointing west
"Those ruins could be the temple" Luke said
"Then we need to get a move on then" Ben said
"Let's get going then" Kyle said as he sheathed his sword
Freyja let out a cheerful bark as she climbed up onto Ben's shoulder
"And who might this be?" Kyle asked Ben, looking at Freyja
"Her name is Freyja and she is with me" Ben answered as he scratched Freyja's head
"She's kinda cute for a Beowolf" Kyle said as he pet Freyja under her chin causing her to wag her tail
"Come on we need to go" Luke said sounding impatient
"We're coming" Ben said, motioning for Luke to start walking
"Who's that guy?" Kyle asked Ben, pointing at Luke
"That's Luke, don't let his demeanor fool you, he's nice guy once he gets to know you" Ben tells Kyle
"I see" Kyle said
And with that, both Ben and Kyle quickly hurried up and tried to catch up to Luke before they lost him

Emerald Forest: Vale
Following where Kyle had pointed out where he had seen some ruins while he was falling, Ben, Luke and Kyle were on their way to find the temple and collect their artifact. So far however, they hadn't found anything but that wasn't just it though. All three of them noticed that something was off all around them and there was a strange feeling in the air. Ben and Luke had felt this feeling before, the complete silence like there was no animals or even grimm around. It was the same feeling the two of them got before they encountered that new species of grimm.
"Is it just me or is the forest dead?" Kyle asked
"No, it isn't just you" Ben answered
"I don't like this feeling Ben, Huginn and Muninn aren't picking anything up" Luke tells Ben
"Huginn and Muninn?" Kyle asks
"His two drones that connect to his semblance" Ben explained to Kyle
The three continued to walk through the forest but they kept their guard up just in case anything would attack them. Kyle and Luke had their weapons out while Ben had the omnitrix activated and ready to use at any moment. As they continued to walk, the three heard a rustling coming from the trees. Kyle switched his sword to its rail cannon form while Luke readied one of his last few arrows. Freyja started to bark and growl at whatever was up in the trees.
"What is it girl?" Ben asked Freyja
"Whatever it is, it's going to be dead here real soon" Kyle said as he was ready to fire his rail cannon
"I see a pair of glowing eyes" Luke said
Ben and Kyle looked up into the trees and they saw the pair of glowing eyes that Luke said he saw. It was then that the body of a dead Nevermore fell down out of the tree. Startled by the dead grimm, Kyle and Luke were going to attack whatever was up in the tree. That was until someone jumped down out of the tree and landed in front of the dead Nevermore.
"Corina?" Kyle said confused
"Corina is that you?" Ben asked
Standing in front of the dead Nevermore was the black leopard faunus herself, Corina with her spear in her hand
"Hey guys, I am surprised to see you" Corina said, greeting Ben and Kyle
"Someone else you know?" Luke asked Ben
"Yeah, that's my other friend Corina" Ben answered
"I see" Luke said looking up and down at Corina
"Who's the bird?" Corina asked, looking over at Luke
"I'm a hawk, big difference" Luke said, correcting Corina
"A bird is a bird" Corina said, angering Luke
Ben could see that the two were about to fight one another so he stepped in between the two of them before anything could happen
"Corina, this is Luke, he's the first person I met after I landed" Ben tells Corina, introducing Luke to her
"I see" Corina said
"Now that you two know each other can we get along?" Ben asked the two faunus
"As long as she doesn't get in my way" Luke said before walking away
"Ditto" Corina said in disgust
Ben let out an annoyed sigh, as long as the two weren't fighting or going to try it, Ben hoped they could get to the temple without having any problems
"So Corina, what were you doing in that tree?" Kyle asked Corina, trying to change the subject
"That Nevermore attacked me when I was in the sky and stole the necklace my mother gave me when I was little" Corina answered as she kicked the body of the dead Nevermore
"At least you got it back" Kyle said
"Why do you smell like blood and death?" Corina asked Kyle, sniffing the air around him
"I fell into a den of Ursa and I ended up killing all of them" Kyle answered, sounding embarrassed
Corina had a look of disbelief on her face when Kyle told her that
"Can confirm" Ben said speaking up
"Really? That is crazy" Corina said once she realized that Kyle was telling the truth about that happening
"I saw the aftermath and it wasn't pretty" Ben said with a shiver as remembered seeing all of the dead Ursa
Freyja barked and licked Ben's face, seeing Freyja caused Corina to jump backwards
"What are you doing with a Beowolf pup?" Corina asked Ben, aiming her spear at Freyja
"Don't worry about Freyja, she isn't like other Beowolves" Ben tells Corina
"He's telling the truth Corina, just look at her" Kyle tells Corina
Corina looks at Freyja, hesitantly getting closer to her
"Hmm" Corina says as she looks at Freyja
Corina can see that Freyja looks different from other Beowolves and actually looks more wolf like then an actually grimm. Freyja looks up at Corina and barks happily at her as she wags her tail.
"Okay, she's cute and isn't a threat" Corina says as she lowers her spear
"Great, now we can get back to finding the temple" Kyle says
"The temple? I am pretty sure I saw it that way" Corina says pointing off in a direction
"We better get going that way then" Ben says as he stands up
"You guys should come and check this out" Luke calls out to them
Hearing the sound of urgency in his voice, Ben, Kyle and Corina quickly rush off to were Luke was
Time Skip
Destroyed Clearing: Emerald Forest
Ben, Corina and Kyle had made it to where Luke was and what they saw was extremely concerning
"Huginn and Muninn detected something so I went to check it out and this is what I found
All over the ground was the bodies of dead grimm as well destroyed trees, the ground had been torn up and rocks were all over. The blood of the dead grimm had pooled up into small craters that were made in the ground. From the looks of things, it seemed like these grimm had gotten into a battle with something that won.
"What could have done this?" Kyle asked in horror
"Ben, you don't think it could be one of those?" Luke asks Ben
"One of what?" Corina asks
"Luke and I had encountered a new type of grimm awhile back, it had killed a King Taijitu and was eating it before he and I killed it" Ben answers
"A new species of grimm?" Kyle asks
"It has bone spikes on its arms that it could stretch and extend, we had a hard time killing it" Luke answered, telling Kyle about the grimm he and Ben fought
"Do you think another one of those grimm could have done this?" Corina asks
"Sure the grimm we fought was strong and brutal but I don't think it could have been capable of this" Ben answers
"Do you think it could be another new species of grimm?" Kyle asks
"Its either that or we are going to school with someone who's a real monster" Luke answered
Off in the distance, the four of them could hear a loud roar that sounded like something they'd never heard before. They also heard the roars of grimm coming from the same direction but it sounded like something was slaughtering them. Ben and the others all looked at each other and without saying a word the decided to check it out.
"But do we really have to?" Kyle asked
"If it is a new species of grimm, we need to see what it is and stop it" Corina tells Kyle
"If that thing keeps killing grimm, there won't be anymore left and then it will start attacking people" Ben tells Kyle
"We either take care of it now or wait until it becomes an even bigger problem" Luke tells Kyle
"When you guys put it that way, I guess there really isn't any other choice" Kyle says as he draws his sword
"Let's get a move on then" Ben said
Time Skip
Emerald Forest: Vale
Ben and the others made their way through the forest as they got closer and closer to where they heard the fighting going on. The roars got louder and louder the closer they got as they heard less and less grimm fighting. Once Ben and the others made it, they hid in the bushes and watched what was going on. What they saw was a massive creature that had giant bone spikes coming out of the tops of its head like horns. It long arms with spikes coming out of its arms with sharp claws.

This new menacing looking grimm was fighting off a pack of Beowolves and was slaughtering them one by one. A Beowolf bit it on the arm only for the grimm to grab it and snap its neck, killing it. Ben and the others watched as the arm of the grimm grew in size as did the rest of its body, becoming more muscular.
"What do we do?" Kyle asks quietly
"We need to kill it" Corina answered
"How do you plan on us doing that?" Luke asked
"We kill like any other grimm" Corina answers
"I don't think that will work" Ben says
"What do you mean?" Corina asks Ben
"That thing clearly gets stronger the more damage it takes and gains more mass which means our attacks won't do anything but maker hard to kill" Ben answers
Corina and the others watch as the Beowolves attack the grimm causing it to gain more mass before it killed them
"It has to have a weakness" Kyle says
"Let's try and hit that soft spot on its neck" Luke suggests
"What soft spot?" Kyle asks
"I see it, that's the only part of its body that doesn't gain any mass" Corina says
"I don't see what it is you are seeing" Kyle says
"Faunus have superior eye sight as well as other senses, those two are seeing its weak spot" Ben explains to Kyle
"Oh, okay, that does make sense" Kyle says
"If we are going to attack, now would be the time to do it" Corina tells everyone
"It's run out of Beowolves" Luke says
Ben and Kyle look over and see the massive grimm finish off the last of the Beowolves, ripping its head off with the spine still attached
"Okay, here's the plan, I'll hold it down while you two focus on hitting its weak spot" Ben tells Luke and Corina
"What about me?" Kyle asks
"Kyle, I need you to keep its attention and keep it from attacking Corina and Luke" Ben tells Kyle
"Okay, I can do that" Kyle says
"How do you plan on restraining the grimm with only a dagger?" Corina asks Ben
"I've got something that will work" Ben answered, looking down at the omnitrix
With the plan set, Luke, Corina and Kyle charged out from where they were hiding and engaged the grimm, getting its attention. Ben stayed behind and activated the omnitrix and began to select the transformation that would help him restrain the massive grimm. While Ben twisted the dial looking for the transformation, Freyja barked at him.
"Don't worry about me, you just stay here until we're done with it, just like the last time" Ben tells Freyja as he pats her on the head
Eventually Ben found the transformation that he was looking for and selected it. The omnitrix dial popped up and Ben slammed it down, transforming into the transformation that he selected. Ben was engulfed in a bright green light as he transformed. When the green light faded away, Ben had transformed into a green plant-like transformation that had four vine legs with eggplant-like seeds on its back with a venus flytrap thing around its head. The transformation also had thorns on its arm and one eye.

As Corina and Luke targeted the weak spot on the grimm's neck, Kyle focused on the legs of the grimm and tried to bring it down and keep its attention on him
"Where is Ben?" Corina asks as she sends her flying star blades at the grimm
"He should be here by now" Luke says as he fires his last explosive arrow at the grimm
All of a sudden, massive vines came out of the ground and started to wrap around the grimm and pushed it down towards the ground. Everyone watched as Ben in his Wildvine form appeared on top of the grimm, his arms wrapped around the grimm.
"What the heck is that thing?" Corina asked, pointing at Ben
"That's Ben" Kyle answered
"That looks nothing like Ben, it looks like a plant creature" Corina said in disbelief
"Its one of his transformations" Kyle tells Corina
"You mean he wasn't lying when he said he could transform?" Corina asks, still in disbelief
"I didn't believe it until I saw him transform back" Kyle tells Corina as he swings his massive sword in its saw form at the lower half of the grimm's body
"If you guys don't mind, I could really use some help with keeping this guy down" Ben said as his vines started to break
"I've got you" Kyle said
Kyle activated his semblance which caused his body to gain more mass as he grew. Eventually Kyle jumped up and landed down on top of the grimm's back next to Ben.
"Hey Kyle, could you help out here?" Ben asks Kyle as his arms slowly start rip in half before repairing themselves only to rip again
"Don't worry I've got you" Kyle said as he lifted his sword over his head
With his body gaining more mass, Kyle slammed his sword down onto the grimm with enough force to knock it down to the ground with one swing. Now that it was on the ground, Ben was able to strengthen his roots which allowed me to easily hold the grimm down without his body ripping apart.
"Okay guys, hurry and finish it off before it breaks free" Ben said as he felt the grimm trying to get free
"Hold it a little bit longer" Corina tells Ben
Corina then readies her spear and stabs it into the neck of the grimm causing it to roar in pain
"One more should do it" Luke says as he switches his bow into its sword form and stabs it deep into the neck of the grimm, pulling the blade downwards
The grimm let out one last roar before its body went limp, it appeared as though Ben and his friends had defeated the grimm. That was the case until Ben saw some strange red electricity start to appear around the horns on the grimm's head. It took him a minute to realize what was going on but before he could say or do anything it was too late.
"EVERYONE RUN!!!" Ben yelled
The others looked up at Ben but before they could do anything, there was a massive red energy explosion that came from the grimm's body. The explosions knocked everyone back and freed the grimm from Ben's vines. As everyone recovered from the explosion, they saw that the grimm had become even more massive and muscular, it's horns forming into spikes on its back as a red lighting began to spark all over its body.
"What happened?" Corina asked
"It got stronger" Ben answered
Everyone looked over and saw Ben's body in pieces and started to panic
"Holy crap Ben, you've been torn to pieces" Kyle said holding up Ben's head
"Don't worry about me, I'm fine" Ben said
"Clearly you don't see that you are just a head" Corina tells Ben
"I'm a root, pulling myself back together is easy" Ben said as he began to reform his body back to its full form
"Okay then, now what do we do to defeat this monster?" Kyle asks looking at the monstrous grimm
"It's outer skin is stronger then steel now and is far to dense to pierce" Luke said
"Any weak spots?" Ben asks
"If there are, I'm not seeing them" Corina answered
"We need to do something quickly before it rampages towards the school" Kyle said
"If it's outside is too thick to pierce does that mean it's insides are as well?" Ben asks
"They could be" Kyle answers
"What are you exactly supposing we do?" Corina asks Ben
"You aren't suggesting we jump down the monster's gullet are you?" Luke asks Ben
"No, I've got something a little bit better" Ben answers as he pulls multiple seed pods off of his back
"What are you going to do with those?" Kyle asks Ben
"Watch and see" Ben answers before he burrows himself into the ground
Luke, Corina and Kyle all watched as Ben sprung out from the ground and threw his seed pods at the grimm, when the seed pods hit the grimm they exploded on impact, knocking the grimm back
"Holy crap" Kyle said
"Hurry up and distract this thing" Ben tells the others
Luke and the others rush in and start attacking the grimm, allowing Ben to throw his seed pods at it. Each and everyone attacks the grimm but it knocks them away with its s red lightning infused attacks that destroy everything they hit. Kyle increased his mass and density but still could feel the hits from the grimm. Corina used her semblance, Shadow Walk to move around the grimm and hit it from all over but the grimm slammed its fists on the ground and shattered the earth beneath them which threw Corina out of place and allowed the grimm to hit her once she came out of a shadow. Luke had basically ran out of arrows and had to switch to melee attacks with his bow in its sword form which didn't do much damage to the grimm. His Odin's Eye allowed him to read the movements of the grimm but he wasn't able to dodge the red lightning that came after and ended up being taken out by it.
"GUYS!!!" Ben yelled as he saw all of his team taken out by the grimm
Before Ben could do anything else, the grimm grabbed ahold him and ripped him in half before swallowing each of his halves
"BEN!!!" Kyle yelled as he saw Ben get eaten by the grimm
"Ben, NO!!!" Corina yelled as she reached out towards Ben
"This can't be, it can't be" Luke said in disbelief
Freyja came running out from her hiding spot and was barking and growling at the massive grimm, Corina grabbed Freyja and stopped her before the grimm killed her too
"Its too late" Corina told Freyja
Freyja howled loudly as the grimm let out a massive earth shaking roar, slamming its fists down on the ground. Luke and the others watched as the grimm turned its attention towards them but before it went after them, something strange happened. The grimm flinched and was knocked backwards like it had been hit in the gut. Everyone watched as the grimm was knocked around from side to side as it's body began to swell up and gain even more mass. Eventually the grimm to a ginormous size until there was a massive explosion that spread grimm blood and guts all over the place. There was a massive hole in the grimm's body as it fell backwards onto the ground, lifeless and dead.
"What just happened?" Corina asked confused
"I think it exploded" Kyle answered stunned
"But how?" Luke asked
"That would be me" a voice answered
The three looked behind them and saw Ben slowly regenerate his body as he walked over to them
"BEN!!!" All three of them yelled as they ran over to Ben
Corina hugs Ben tightly before letting him go and letting Kyle hug him
"Easy there, there's still parts of my body regenerating" Ben said as one his arms grew back
"That was stupid what you did" Luke tells Ben
"It worked didn't it?" Ben asked Luke
"I guess you are right about that, just warn us before you do something like that again" Luke tells Ben
"I don't think I plan on getting eaten again but I'll make sure to let you know a stupid idea occurs" Ben responds
"We thought you were dead" Corina says
"Its going to take a lot more then that to kill me" Ben replies
"Let's hope we don't run into anything like that again" Kyle says
"Yeah, lets just focus on getting to the temple and getting out of this forest" Ben says
"Guys, I think Huginn and Muninn have found the temple" Luke speaks up
"Which way?" Kyle asks
"That way" Luke answers, pointing in the direction his two drones found the temple
"Time to complete this thing" Ben says before he transforms back into himself
Freyja runs over to Ben barking at him before jumping into his arms
"Don't worry, you are coming with me" Ben tells Freyja
With that, Ben alongside Luke, Corina and Kyle with Freyja all head off towards the temple so they can collect an artifact and return to cliffs where Ozpin was waiting for them
Emerald Cliffs: Beacon Academy
"I have news sir, all of the partnerships have been formed" Glynda tells Ozpin
"What of Benjamin and his partner?" Ozpin asks Glynda
"Young Tennyson and Wright have formed a team with Kyle White and Corina Felis" Glynda tells Ozpin
"What of the two new species of grimm?" Ozpin asks Glynda
"Tennyson and his new partners have taken care of both new grimm species and the remains of each of them have been collected sir" Glynda answers
"Good, take them to chambers under the academy immediately and don't let anyone find out about them, I don't want Ironwood rushing in with his war machines" Ozpin tells Glynda
"I will inform everyone of this and make sure they keep these new grimm a secret but if I may sir, what exactly do you plan on doing with the remains?" Glynda asks Ozpin
"I don't intend to do anything, I just want to know more about these new grimm and see what makes them different from other grimm as well as if there are more new species of grimm, I have someone who is willing to help me study the corpses and learn as much about them as he can" Ozpin answers, telling Glynda what he plans on doing with the grimm corpses
"Who would this person be exactly?" Glynda asks Ozpin
"He's older then me and has a real bad temper, he's a genius and he already has stakes in what is going on and who's involved" Ozpin answers, being cryptic
As the two look out over the forest from the cliffs, Glynda gets an alert on her scroll
"Sir, another group has collected an artifact from the temple" Glynda tells Ozpin
"Good, only a few more left then we can assign this year's teams" Ozpin says as he takes a drink of his coffee
"It appears as though Tennyson and his group have just arrived at the temple while the last few groups will be arriving shortly" Glynda tells Ozpin
"Thank you for the update Glynda, I must get ready for the team forming once those last few initiates arrive back here" Ozpin tells Glynda
"If I may sir, what exactly did you go with for artifacts this year?" Glynda asks Ozpin
"You'll see" Ozpin says before he walks away
Time Skip
Temple Ruins: Emerald Forest
It took them some time but Ben and the others had finally arrived at the temple ruins and were about to collect their artifact. As they slowly approached the temple, each of them had their weapons out while Ben had the omnitrix ready to go just in case something appeared and tried to stop them. None of them were taking any chances, each of them wanted to collect an artifact and yet back to the Emerald Cliffs as quickly as they could.
"Up there" Luke says, pointing towards some steps
"The artifact must be up there" Kyle says
"It seems like the most obvious spot" Ben replies
Ben is the first to walk up the steps as the others follow behind him. Once they reach the top, Ben and the others see a chess board laying down on a stone table.
"It's a chess board?" Corina says confused
"Looks like we take a piece and head back to the cliffs" Ben says
"You pick a piece Ben" Kyle tells Ben
"Pick something so we can go, I don't like being out in the open" Luke tells Ben as he surveils the area for threats
"Okay, I'll pick something" Ben says as he walks up to the chess board
Looking at the chess board, Ben could see a lot of pieces missing which meant that others had been here and already had collected their piece. Ben would have been here a lot quicker but he did run into a few roadblocks and detours along the way, so he wasn't mad. Looking at all of the remaining pieces on the board, Ben ends up choosing the black king piece and puts it in his pocket.
"I got one, lets get out of here" Ben says to the others
"We've got people coming up" Luke warns everyone
Every one turns around and sees two people running out of the forest to the temple. Looking at the two of them, Ben recognizes the one with blonde hair right away.
"Yang?" Ben asked confused
"You know her" Luke asks Ben
"Yeah, she's the older sister of my friend Ruby" Ben answers
"Who's that with her?" Corina asks
Ben looks out and sees a girl with black hair that has a bow in her hair. In an instant, Ben knew who he was looking at right away, he had seen her many times in the past and could easily recognize her face.
"Blake" Ben says to himself quietly
The two girls ran up the stairs and met with Ben and the others, both were surprised to see Ben there with his partners
"Woah Ben, didn't expect to see you here" Yang says
"Yeah, I just got here" Ben replies
"Who are they?" Yang asks, pointing at Luke and the others
"They're my friends and I met them on the way here" Ben answers
"Cool, this is Blake, I met her also on my way here" Yang tells Ben, showing Blake to him
Ben looks at Blake and sees her look away from him
"Well, I'm going to collect my artifact now" Yang says as she walks over to the stone table with the chess board on it
Blake keeps looking away from Ben and Ben wants to say something to her so badly but as he reaches out towards her and tries to say something, a loud yelling stops him. The others noticed the yelling and looked around for the source. Eventually they all look up and see a girl in a red cloak falling down towards them, Ben and Yang recognize the girl as Ruby.
"Ruby!?!" Ben says loudly and confused
"What the heck?" Yang asks
"LOOK OUT!!!" Ruby yells loudly to Ben and the others as she continues to fall
Author's Note
Hello there readers, here is the 5th chapter of Alien Huntsman, I hope you all enjoyed it and are ready for the next chapter. It looks like Ben has officially gotten his team together and they've finally gotten an artifact from the temple. However, things are not over yet and they aren't going to be exactly easy, I don't want to spoil anything but I will say that you readers are not going to want to miss anything. Just like with the last few chapters, here I've combined part 1 and 2 of the Emerald Forest episodes into one chapter so it can be long enough. I won't be doing that as much in the future its just that these past few episodes have been really short and there wasn't much to make a whole chapter from.
I should let you readers know that I have a new crossover story coming out this Saturday, so be ready for it. I don't want to spoil anything about it or tell you what the story is and what kind of crossover it is but I can definitely say that there is going to be a lot of green in it. Okay then, moving on, in this chapter you got to see Ben use Wildmutt, Wildvine, you'll get to see more transformations as the story continues as well as some OC transformations. Still haven't decided if I am going to have ultimate forms in this story but I know I am going to have something that makes this Ben stand out from the others I've written. Now, I am going to be responding to comments from the last chapter.
Hero Time 81: I like the blue and black as well but I think I am going to most likely go with the white and black since it looks more cool and fits with the classic series redesign thing for the aliens that I am going with
NewUltimateDragon55: There will be a few chapters where Ben tries to find out more about the omnitrix as well as his past and his connection with the device
