It was a quiet night in suburbs, specifically in the Parker household where May Parker was currently getting ready for bed. That was until she heard a knock at her front door. She slowly made her way towards the front of the house in her white robe, and once she reached the entrance, she looked out her peephole to see who it was.

Once she realized who was at her door, she made haste to open it. Outside her steps was Loona with a small smile present on her face, she even made a small wave gesture towards May. "Hey, Mrs. Parker. I hope I'm not intruding or anything?" Loona then noticed that May was wearing her nightgown, guilt crept on her as she tried to apologize

"Crap, I'm so sorry..I didn't mean to bug you, especially if you were just about to head to bed." Loona said quietly as she tried to excuse herself from the older woman. May just shook her head with a smile as she grabbed the younger girl's hand, before giving her a hug. She then let go after a moment, it was then that she invited Loona inside.

"It's quite alright my dear, come inside. Want some tea? Or are you more of a coffee person?" May asked as she led Loona inside the house, closing the door behind them. Loona made her way inside and took a good look around. She smiled blissfully; she always felt such a loving whenever she was here, If Loona had to guess as to why then it would have to be because of May.

"Um...Coffee please." May just nodded as she made sure Loona had a seat on the couch as she herself made her way to the kitchen. "How do you like your coffee? Any cream and sugar?" May asked as she popped her head out of the kitchen. "Just black please..." Loona answered as May gave her a warm smile as she went back into the kitchen. What she wouldn't have given to have had a mother like May.

After a few moments, May came back out with two cups of coffee, one for her and one for Loona. She then set the cups down on the table in front of them before having a seat herself on the opposite side of Loona. "Now what can I help you with dear? Is everything alright between you and Peter?" May asked, concern evident in her voice.

"Things are going great between Peter and I actually, thankfully." May smiled at the answer as she took a sip of her coffee.

"That is great news to hear, I'm so happy that you and Peter were able to have such a strong bond towards one another." She commented with a tone full of glee, her eyes shining as she said so. "Thank you, Mrs. Parker. That truly means a lot, to the both of us."

"No worries my dear, speaking of Peter, why isn't he here with you? Is he still doing one of his patrols?" Loona just nodded, and just as she was about to her open her mouth the doorbell once again rang. "Oh? Did you tell Peter you were here?" May asked as she slowly stood up, with Loona doing the same.

"I did, but he said he was still gonna be on patrol for another few hours." Loona couldn't help but feel a little worried, what if one of his enemies managed to track May down? Loona then slowly walked in front of May. "Let me see who it is, just in case." May just nodded as Loona slowly made her way towards the door. She stood there for a moment before she decided to look out the peephole herself. Once she saw who it was, she let out a breath of relief.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Parker. It's just Millie and Moxxie." Loona informed as May also let out a sigh. "Oh, thank goodness. Well go ahead and let them in. It would be rude to just leave them out there in the night." Devil, she really was too kind at times. They really didn't deserve her. Loona nodded her head in compliance as she opened the door. Both Millie and Moxxie waited for May to open the door, and once it was, they both say someone they didn't expect.

"OH! Hey Loona! What are you doing here?" Millie asked with her signature grin, and Moxxie groaned in annoyance at the sight of the Hellhound before waving his hand somewhat. "Hello, Loona." Loona didn't answer the question as she just stared at the both of them before letting them inside. It was then that both Millie and Moxxie saw May. Both of the Imps gave the older woman a smile as they went up to greet her.

"Oh my, if it isn't Millie and Moxxie! What are you two doing here?" May asked as she hugged both of the smaller beings. Both of them hugged right back. "Hiya May! We just came here to visit ya!" Millie answered as she continued the hug. "Nice to see you again, Mrs. Parker. Always a pleasure to see that you are doing alright. That is about half right though, we came to actually ask a few questions if you don't mind? As long as we're not trespassing or anything of course." Moxxie continued as he finally let go of May.

"Of course, that is if that's alright with Loona." May said as both Millie and Moxxie looked up at Loona. She inwardly groaned, but this did give her an opportunity to ask her own questions as well. So as much as she hated them for interrupting her time with May, she might as well let them stay.

"That's fine by me, if anything Mrs. Parker, are you sure this is alright with you? If it's too late, we can always come back another day." Loona asked as she didn't want to keep up the poor woman more than she already had. "It's alright with me, besides why put off what can be done today for tomorrow?" She smiled lovingly as she made Millie a coffee and a tea for Moxxie. It was then that they all sat around the table once more in the living room.

"Now, who wants to go first?" May questioned as the three demons looked at each other before coming to a conclusion.

"I guess I'll go first." Loona answered as she cleared her throat. Maybe this was a bit too personal to ask, but she just had to know.

"We all know about what happened to Peter's uncle...and why he's a hero but...and forgive me if this isn't something if you're comfortable with but..why does he push himself so hard? I know with great power comes great responsibility, but this is more than that...I hate to see him do it, I truly do and that's why I'm asking you but why does he push himself to such extremes? When we first started dating, he hardly ate, slept, and don't even get me started on his self-esteem." Loona finished as she looked down at the table with a somber expression on her face.

It was quiet for a few moments before May sighed. "It's because of Ben." She answered simply as Loona looked back up. "He pushes himself to said extremes, because in his eyes he is as much guilty as the man that killed Ben."

"But it wasn't his fault!" Millie interrupted as Moxxie tried to calm down his wife. "Why does he have to torture himself to much for something that he wasn't even responsible for?" Millie questioned as she slowly sat back down before apologizing to May for the sudden outburst. "I..I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scream..."

May just gave her a kind smiled as she kept going. "It's okay, it just shows that you care a great deal for Peter, but as I was saying. He believes that no matter what he does, it will never make up for the loss of Ben." May finished solemnly.

Loona already knew all of this, so she didn't why she had to ask such a stupid question. She was just making this poor innocent woman remember such a dark time in her life.

"Have you tried talking to him, maybe if he hears it from you?..." Loona asked as she looked into her coffee. May just sighed as she sat back a bit.

"Believe me, I have tried...and while he did take some of it to heart, he still doesn't forgive himself. Deep down, he is still as broken as that day we lost Ben." May couldn't help but let out a few tears as Millie just gave the woman a hug. May appreciated the gesture as she returned the sentiment.

Loona couldn't help but let out a few tears of her own. Why? Why did he have to punish himself? Would he ever be able to forgive himself? She clenched her fists rather tightly as she remembered all the times he broke down over Ben. It broke her heart having to witness that, but what really killed her inside is watching the very same city Peter swore to protect curse his very existence. Going so far as to wish him dead, saying that everything was better before he came around. Yet he still went out, he still did his very best to save them all because his heart was just that kind.

"Loona?" Moxxie called out as he waved his hand in front of her face. "What?" She barked out rather harshly as everyone turned to look at her which caused her to look down, guilt ridden from snapping at the fatty. "Sorry.." She whispered out. Moxxie just nodded in acknowledgment.

"May, Millie and I were actually curious about something, and we wanted your opinion on it." Moxxie spoke out as May and his wife turned to look at him. Millie already knew what the answer would most likely be she still wanted to ask, she still wanted to try.

"What is it my dear Moxxie?" May questioned as she rubbed the tears from her eyes. Her eyes slightly red from the crying, even Millie had a few tears in her eyes. The one person that had a wonderful was the one who was suffering the most, while literal demons, selfish, horrible demons were living their best life with no consequences while Peter was giving everything he had, only for him to be punished for his deeds.

"Is...Is there a way to convince Peter to stop being Spider-Man?" May and Loona immediately stood up straight with wide eyes.

"Moxxie!" Loona called out as she glared at the shorter being. Moxxie just stared back at her with indifference. "Don't act like you hadn't thought about it before." She'd be lying if she said no, but just to blurt it out like that? Did he have no shame? Then again, they all wanted the same thing. Peter to be safe and happy.

May just sat there for a few moments, not responding. Everyone then began to get nervous by the silence, they all began to wonder if they woman was alright until she finally started speaking a moment later.

"No, even if he would ever move on from Ben, he would never stop being Spider-Man." She stated, she then took a quick breath. "Because for as long as someone needs help, he will always be there. Like Ben once said, with great power there must also come great responsibility. Peter, I believe is the physical representation of that saying." May finished as Loona and Millie looked at May with a smile. They knew she was right, that's just who Peter was. He wouldn't be there lovable idiot if he wasn't.

Moxxie on the other hand just sighed and frowned for a moment before looking back up at them. "I see, well I guess we'll just have to back him up every step of the way. Even if he does have bad taste in wo-" It was then Millie covered his mouth. Loona just stared at the both of them with a glare. "Finish that sentence fatty, I dare you." She growled out as May just giggled at the sight. "Well I believe it's time for all of you to head home now, I do have to go to sleep now but it was oh so nice to see all of you again."

Loona, Millie, and Moxxie smiled warmly at her with love in their eyes. Peter was lucky to have someone like her, he truly was. If the world did one thing right, it was giving Peter such loving parents. All of them bid their farewells with all of them giving May one final hug. They all separated and went their separate ways, with Loona using her necklace to go back to hers and Peters apartment and Millie, and Moxxie using the grimoire to go back to Hell.

Once Loona was back in the apartment, she saw Peter tinkering with his costume. "I'm home." She muttered as she approached Peter from behind, wrapping her arms around his body. Peter smiled lovingly as he stopped working on his suit and turned around. "Welcome home Loona." He said warmly as they both leaned in for a kiss. It lasted for a fair bit until they pulled apart. They both just grinned.

"So how was May?" They both stood in place, locking their gaze into each other's eyes.

"May was good, you should visit her one of these days. Also, our talk went well. We even talked about you for a bit." This piqued his interest.

"Oh? About little ol' me? All good things I hope." She winked in response.

"Just about you being a loveable idiot is all." She nuzzled his nose for a quick second which caused him to smile even more.

"Well as long as I'm loveable, I guess that's what counts. I do wanna hear more about it though." He told her as they led each other to the bed.

"Another day, right now I just wanna lay with by hot boyfriend and not have a care in the world." Loona replied as she plopped down on the bed.

Peter just shook his head in response to her actions. "Fine fine." He then laid down right next to her. "I spoil you too much, you know that?" She grinned in return as she turned into her human form to be able to be the little spoon.

"True, buuuut I spoil you right back." She countered as she snuggled up against his chest.

"I suppose that's fair." He just began to play with her hair for a bit. "I love you." He said suddenly which cast a blush from his partner. "I love you too, my loveable dumbass."

It was at that moment that Loona promised once more to help Peter through anything and everything because in her eyes, he was the most important person in her life, and she would damned if life continued to fuck him over. He deserved better than the people here showed him, and she was going to give him just that and no one was gonna take her away from him and that was a promise she intended to keep.

And with that, we have another chapter for this story! In this chapter, I wanted to show that just because he met the I.M.P squad, and Loona didn't mean that he was immediately better but rather he now has friends, and family that truly look out for him and his mental health. We will get more of this as he we deeper into the story, with everyone trying to help Peter and his broken mental state, well more like toxic thinking. anyways hope you all enjoyed this chapter and if you did please leave a like and a review. Here is one little teaser for the future and I hope you all have a great day!

"Are you sure this is what you want Parker? If you do this, there will be no going back."

Peter pondered about it for a moment before he nodded his head.

"Do it."
