"Yakko...can I maybe...go alone this time...?", Wakko asked his brother that one day. "Wakko. How many times have I told you, it's dangerous. You-" "And how many times have I told you!", Dot interrupted, "He's responsible enough to go on his own! Can't you just understand that?! Just let him go!". "Fiine!", said Yakko, waving his arms in the air, "You can go then". "Yaay!", said Wakko as he ran to the door, "Thank you, bye!", he said, running out and slamming the door.
"There he is!", said the nurse as she poimted to the window. "Who Sandra?", asked Minerva. "Wakko! Who else? Don't you see?", asked the nurse. "Oh, there! Yeah, I see now", said Minerva as she saw him wave to the nurse. "Ok, now go!", said the nurse and Minerva exited the psychiatry building.
"Huh?", Wakko asked to himself as he saw that Hello Nurse didn't wave back. He was even more confused when he saw Minerva coming out.
"Oh, there you are!", said Minerva as she walked up to him and they started walking, "How have you been?", she asked. "Uh...fine...?", said Wakko, still confused. "Oh...I know you're confused. Just wait here, ok?", she asked as they stopped not far from the building. Wakko just nodded and she quickly ran back to the building.
"Hey, what happened?", Hello Nurse asked as she saw Minerva enter. "Um...what did you say, should I tell him?", she asked. The nurse sighed, "Minerva. I told you, the point was to tell him, among other things". "Ok", Minerva shrugged and ran back to Wakko.
"Ok, we can go now", she said and they started walking again as she explained everything to him.
"So. your sister, Sandra and-" "Sandra?", asked Wakko. "Ah, yes, that's the nurse's real name", said Minerva. "Oh...", said Wakko. "As I was saying, your sister, Sandra and I made a plan to teach your brother a lesson" "A lesson? But Dot forgave him, right?", asked Wakko. "Wakko, it's not the same to forgive someone and teach them a lesson", said Minerva. "Oh", he said, "Ok. So, what's the plan?", he asked.
The two came to Minerva's little house near the lake. "Well, welcome!", she said, "Make yourself comfortable". "And how long am I going to stay here?", asked Wakko. "You heard me, until the time comes. In other words, for a few days", she said, "And then we'll tell him off". "Wait, me?", asked Wakko. "No. Just us girls", said Minerva, then got down to his level and whispered, "And then you can tell her how you feel, I promise". At that Wakko's cheecks heated up, but he still hugged her, "Thank you", he said quietly.
"So, what do you wanna do?", she asked. Wakko sighed, "I don't know...", he said as he sat against the wall on the floor and curled up. "Aww...", said Minerva and smiled warmly at him. After a while of thinking, she finaly snapped her fingers. "I know what can cheer you up!", she said, "Some music! Tell me, do you like The Zombies?", she asked. At that Wakko quickly lifted his head up, looking terrified. "Aahh! Noo! Not the whiny protest songs- wait, no, that's not it. But it's still from the 60's! That's the worst decade ever! And they're too emotional", he said. Minerva laughed, "Whatever you say. How about Blur then?", she asked. Now this time Wakko's face lit up. "Yes!", he said, "I love them! They're the best!". Minerva just smiled and went to the cd player.
"So, I guess you want to know a bit more about this, right?", she asked while they were listening. "Why do you have to tell Yakko off?", Wakko asked. Minerva sighed, "You know, the sad truth is, not all the members in one family are responsible enough to take care of others, and even if they are, not always", she said. "What do you mean?", asked Wakko. "First of all, your brother is overprotective. That means not being responsible enough. And second, sigh, this may sound rude, but he's a pervert. Yes, a pervert. Why? He keeps setting you up. And yes, Dot and Sandra told me everything. So, you can forgive him, but don't always expect everything being right. Everyone makes mistakes, and you have to know what's right for you, same goes to your sister. Get it?", she asked at the end. Wakko nodded. "Ok. Anything else?" "Where am I going to sleep?" "Wherever you want!", said Minerva, "And one more thing. Don't go out. Yakko might come looking for you, and that'll ruin everything. Ok?" "Ok...", said Wakko.
"So, that's why my sibs have been fighting all this time...", he said. "I guess so", said Minerva, "Hey, and what was that Yakko told you not to tell-", she started but quickly covered her mouth after realising she had just exposed herself. "Wait, you heard that?". It was too late. Minerva sighed, "Well, I only heard that part where he told you not to tell me about...that". "Oh...", said Wakko, "I...I don't think I can tell you right now. I'll think about it, ok?". "Deal", said Minerva and smiled, then went to get him and herself something to eat.
While still listening to his favourite album by Blur, "Modern Life Is Rubbish", that Minerva set on the cd player, Wakko tought of telling Hello Nurse how he felt. And it bothered him, very much. He didn't even know how to do it, 'cause he had never even done it before. And, that was for sure, he wasn't daring to ask his brother for advice. If anything he knew his brother did wrong, as Minerva said, it was giving advice about stuff like this. It didn't anger him, tough. He just knew it, that was all. But what if he asked Dot? What would she say? After that whole visit and her agreeing with Hello Nurse, he didn't know what to think. Plus this? With those toughts, he went to bed later that night and couldn't fall asleep for a long time.
A/n: ok, let me get this straight. Blur is yet another one of my fav bands and personaly my fav album is "Modern Life Is Rubbish", from 1993. Second, in this story, Wakko knows both bands, so yeah.
