FULL MOON

Chapter 10.

After reassuring Emmett that everything was fine, they returned to the house. Emmett had asked if he could still call her little sis, and Bella laughed at his cuteness. "Of course you can. That's what I am, right?"

Emmett winked at her. "Damn right, you are!"

Bella smiled at him. Emmett was a simple man, but his heart was complicated. He gave his trust quickly and his love easier still, which made him an easy target of disappointment. Bella didn't want to disappoint Emmett, he was too sweet and too good, but she would have ended up doing just that if she had lied to him.

As it turned out, Emmett was just jealous of her relationship with what she called the Withlocks. It was just one of those things that happened in life. You meet someone; you fall in love, get your heart broken, grow up, get over it, meet new people, fall in love again and form new relationships along the way. It was nature, vampire or human; it happened.

Every relationship she had -romantic or friendship- was different. Her relationship with Edward was something utterly different from her relationship with Jasper. That's part of growing up and not making the same mistakes.

When she first met Jasper, it was a matter of the right person at the wrong time. The same happened when he went back to apologize. And if it weren't for Charlotte and Peter recognizing her and helping her, who knows how long it would have been for the right person to come at the right time.

She was glad she didn't have to figure it out. She had her right person at the right time, and he brought along a family she loved deeply.

Bella went straight to Jasper's lap when she came into the cabin. Jasper loved it when she did that. He didn't care that she interrupted his reading, writing, or whatever he was doing.

"Hey, cowboy." Jasper smiled cheekily at her, making her giggle.

Bella tried something that she hadn't tried before. She knew Jasper could feel what she was feeling, but what if she actually pushed that emotion to him? It's not as if she was replicating his gift.

She looked him in the eyes and pushed her love to him. She thought about how he made her feel with just a look, what she felt every time he kissed her, how beautiful she felt when she was in his arms, and how she didn't feel like an experiment that needed to be fixed just because she was a newborn. He let her be whatever she wanted to be.

Jasper smiled happily but shyly at her. His answer was a soft and sweet kiss.

"Are they always this sickening sweet?" Rose teased.

"They are." Peter answered.

Without breaking the kiss, she flipped them both, causing laughter from everyone.

Emmett, Rose, Bella, and Charlotte were engrossed in one of the Disney villain board games, each reading the instructions and planning their strategies in their minds. Jasper had preferred to sit out this one, and Peter did the same.

Jasper could feel the desperation coming from Peter, but knowing him as well as he knew him, Peter was biding his time.

When the game began, and it was too late for any player to leave, Peter's desperation turned to resolve.

"Everything ok?" He asked casually. Charlotte met his eyes and nodded. "Do you mind holding the fort while Jas and I go for a hunt?"

"Sure." Bella answered, smiling at them.

Jasper and Peter kissed their respective mates and went off.

"Is Emmett going to be a problem?" This wasn't a war necessarily, but he still liked his neck as it was -attached to his body.

He didn't need any light triggers in his mist. If they weren't united, they stood no chance against the damn newborns. He was taking a big shot by trusting the Cullens temporarily.

"No. I trust him. Whatever is going on, we'll deal with it." Jasper hoped that Bella had gotten to Emmett. It was true what she said. In his state, he would have listened to her. He seemed in better spirits when they returned. He felt happy and lighthearted, although some of that sadness still lingered, but it wasn't consuming and mixed with jealousy and anger as it had been before.

"I won't risk Charlotte, Jasper. If he's got a hair trigger, he's dangerous."

"I know." Jasper sighed. "I don't know what got into him. Bella seemed confident that he would listen to her, and he was calmer when they returned. Perhaps she got to him and did some magic."

Peter was still feeling uneasy. There was a reason he didn't do big crowds and why he'd stayed a nomad with Charlotte for so long. Having Emmett and Rosalie constantly under his roof, with the threat that was coming, was taking a toll on his sanity.

"Peter. You know I wouldn't risk Bella, or anyone by that matter, if I didn't trust those close to me. I'll talk to Bella and then decide what to do. But trust me when I say Emmett's behavior is not directed at anyone in particular."

Peter calmed down when Jasper promised to speak with Bella.

"Let's do some actual hunting."

When Peter finished draining his hunt, Jasper teased. "An animal? I thought you were going for a drug addict or something tonight."

Peter smiled sarcastically. "I didn't want to go that far. An animal a day keeps the doctor away." Jasper rolled his eyes. Peter was back. "Besides, I have a healthy balanced diet. Consider this a snack."

Jasper simply shook his head and took off to the cabin. He took the time to consider what Peter had said. He trusted Emmett; otherwise, he wouldn't be inside the house, and he wouldn't have left him alone with the girls. Rosalie was fiercely loyal to anyone she considered family. On that front, Jasper was at ease. But Emmett being angry and unstable made him wonder what had happened. Emmett was one of his best fighters, and he could always trust him to keep a cool head. He would have to speak with Bella because Peter was right as much as he disliked it. They couldn't afford anyone being that unbalanced. One newborn was enough, and Bella was unpredictable enough as it was.

"Take a walk with me." Jasper whispered unnecessarily in Bella's ear.

Bella immediately forfeited her game and, after throwing a playful wink at Charlotte, took Jasper's hand and ran as fast as she could.

Once they reached their spot in the river, she turned to him and, swiftly, had him pinned against a tree and kissed him as if her life depended on it. He didn't waste any time wrapping her head in his hands and meeting her ferocity with his own. She would have normally broken the kiss at this point, but he was pleased when she deepened it and jumped to wrap her legs around his waist.

He turned around, so Bella was the one being pinned against the tree now. His hands wandered on their own accord, up and down Bella's torso, eliciting soft moans from her, the most delicious ones being when he brushed his hands across her breasts.

She ripped his shirt, exposing his toned torso. Jasper chuckled at her urgency. He managed to be more careful with her clothes, removing them quickly, but in one piece. However, her underwear didn't meet the same fate. He ripped it off, leaving her bare as the day she was born. Bella worked the bottom of his jeans and used all her concentration to take them off without ripping them.

At this point, Jasper was struggling with his lust, so used not to let it get out of control in a house full of people. But he didn't need to control it now. It was just the two of them. "Let it go, cowboy." Jasper then let go of all control; his lust was like a heavy blanket on top of them. It was comfortable, warm, and familiar.

Jasper sank to his knees and started kissing a trail up Bella's legs. Her eyes, golden by now, were black with lust. He'd never seen Bella's eyes like that. The image almost made him come right then. He closed his eyes, trying to regain some control; it was her first time ever, and he wanted to at least make it good.

He kissed the side of her knee, then up, up, up, until he reached the center of her body. The scent coming off her was intoxicating. She was wet, so, so wet, and so, so willing to give her all to him.

He loved her even more. He kissed her in between her belly button and her womanhood. "Don't tease, Jasper." She breathed, tensed like the strings of his guitar.

"I'm only here to please, darlin'." He drawled thickly before kissing her bundle of nerves. Bella arched her back and let out a deep moan, satisfied to have him there, finally. Jasper kissed, nibbled, blew, and twisted her clit with his tongue and his fingers, getting her ready enough. He pushed one finger inside her, which made her scream in pleasure, then he put a second one, and she grabbed his hair, unsure if she wanted him to stop the torture or keep it up. Either way, being with him like this felt amazing.

The heavy blanket of lust was heavier each time, threatening to fall and engulf them. She wondered if it would fall when he reached his climax. As it was, she was too busy writhing and moaning his name to change positions. His grip was firm on her hips. His eyes now darted up and locked her in a staring contest while he pumped his fingers out and in repeatedly. She bit her lip, played with her nipples, grabbed his hair, tensed her back, and let out a loud moan when she finally reached her climax.

He didn't give her much time to think because he swiftly took her in his arms, making her wrap her legs in his waist again. He teased her entrance with his cock, spreading her wetness before asking permission to enter.

"Do it, Jass. I want you." The blanket lowered, threatening above them. She wanted to see it fall. She wanted to see him succumb to his lust for her. She loved him unrestrained as much as she loved in complete control.

He swiftly entered her in one move. What would have been painful for a human was nothing for Bella. She dropped her head and leaned it against his shoulder. Jasper didn't feel any pain coming from her, so he moved slowly out and then went back in. Bella moaned in his ear, and that did wonders for Jasper. If hearing her moan and seeing her play with her nipples was erotic enough, having her whimper and moan in his ear was right down another experience.

Jasper moved faster with each thrust, fascinated with how Bella's body responded. Her breasts jumped with their movements, and they were fully attended to between Bella's hands and his lips. They couldn't complain about being left alone. Bella's hands were in Jasper's hair, seeking balance and wanting him to be closer. He was close, so he sped his moves, moving one hand to the front, where they were joined, and played with Bella's clit. No way he was coming alone.

Bella was stimulated enough as it was, so it didn't take her long to come hard. She bit his shoulder, groaning his name. Jasper thrust a few more times before groaning loudly and losing control altogether of the heavy blanket. It fell upon them, eliciting another orgasm from both of them. Then, the blanket disappeared. Jasper was back in control.

They lay on the forest floor, holding each other. Bella couldn't help the giggle that came out. "I imagine this wasn't what you had in mind when you asked me to take a walk with you."

Jasper kissed her neck. "No, it wasn't. But this was so much better than what I had in mind."

Bella giggled again and rested her head on his naked chest. "Sorry about your shirt."

"Sorry about your underwear."

"That was hot." She said with a satisfied grin.

"I know. I didn't mean when I said I was sorry for your underwear." Jasper smiled cheekily again.

"I don't mind buying thousands of pairs of underwear if the reason they get ruined is to have you like that."

"Why not stop buying them altogether?"

"Because as much as I love you, I won't go commando. It's still uncomfortable."

Jasper agreed.

Jasper insisted on getting dressed before speaking to Bella about Emmett. She relayed her conversation with him, leaving out the fact that she was happier when it was only the four of them. She loved Rose and Emmett, and if they stayed, she would be happy and elated, but it would be the same if they decided to have some time for themselves.

"Is everything ok then? He was just feeling left out?" Bella nodded.

"He's a gentle giant; I didn't realize his feelings were hurt because I trust Peter more." She hadn't meant to say that. She knew how important Emmett was to Jasper. But it was said.

"I know what you mean. No matter how close I got to the Cullens, I always felt like Peter and Charlotte were the only ones I could trust blindly."

Bella was relieved. It wasn't that they didn't trust Emmett and Rosalie because they did. But there was something about being with Peter and Charlotte that was mind-freeing. No expectations of being perfect, of having the best control over their thirst. It was what it was.

"What happened to you?" Charlotte asked worriedly, pointing at the new bite Jasper was sporting on his neck. At least it wasn't as bad as the other ones that decorated his body.

Bella noticed that Emmett and Rosalie were gone. Peter came out of the bedroom with wet hair, but with one sniff at the air, he let out a loud guffaw.

"Baby, let them take a shower first." Peter stood beside his mate and hugged her to him.

"Pete, he's injured." Jasper appreciated the concern in Charlotte's voice, but he wasn't too comfortable standing shirtless there.

"Oh, I think he enjoyed that bite better than the others." Jasper rolled his eyes, but he couldn't deny it. Bella hadn't pushed any venom, so it was only teeth marks.

Charlotte scowled when Jasper took Bella's hand and led her to the bedroom. "Smell the air, doll." Bella heard Peter say. She heard Charlotte sniffing the air like a dog and saying a very demure 'oh.'

Bella giggled. "Took her long enough."
